Sure, back in the day TF2 and CS:GO were all about in-game purchases but they still only offered (completely optional) cosmetic items instead of pay 2 win gear or half-assed content. I wish some of my friends would want to return to some of the older titles but I guess it is too late for them thanks to live-service competitive games they sunk a horrible amount of money into (for cosmetics or season passes to boost their ego) as well as being anxious regarding the constant rebalances those games have, fearing that they might have to re-learn the entire game again. It sucks.

There is a game called Garena Free Fire... the skins and characters have different skills, Buffs or nerfs, and special effects. Which makes it more P2W than ever, cuz in order to get them you need to pay alot of money for diamonds to purchase packs or lootcrates F2P players is struggling... the things the recieve are not cool, gun skins are limited use and time, and what they give is just underrated.
It bs argument that "cosmetics" dont interfere with gameplay, that +10% dmg is pay to win, and new skin is nothing. For at least half of people skins and visuals more important than +50% dmg. It great to win, but much better look better than others all other time. "Cosmetics dont interefere with game" is so well implanted in our minds that 95% think this is true.
Don't gamble. If you gamble do it for fun not for getting something. And you need to regret for spending the money on lootboxes. It's just not worth it. But if you try to do it anyways be careful what i just said In CSGO for example I actually broke the odds. Got 2 gold (1/400 cases) 1 ST Red (1/500) in 500 cases. I roughly spent 900USD for that. Did i get the money back? NO. Do i regret it? Yes. Absolutely. My entire inventory isn't even worth 400USD It's not worth it.

no man sky studio aka hello games deserve real respect. i have not played no man sky but i have bought their game just to support them. love these guys and F EA. i play world of tanks blitz and am free loader i not spend money on it instead i daily check it for gold via ads daily i get about 100 gold from them which mean a month i get 3000 gold . so far i have 25000 gold and about 550 gold certificates which worth about 10k gold too. so am saving gold for chrsitmis even where there will be auction on premium tanks then will spend my gold on it and then save for next year as usual. ya that reward boxes are gambling sadly i was victim of reward boxes , this month i spend 1300 gold on one box in hope that i will get tank from it but it was mistake wasted 1300 gold. not gona spend gold on boxes ever.
