- In 1988, post the death of Indira Gandhi and the disastrous operation Blue Star where the army is infamously known to have entered the innermost sanctums of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the terrorists had slowly begun to regroup in the temple again, this time with more leaders and even larger numbers hiding within the inner sanctum and holding court. The operation undertaken was known across worldwide media as Operation Black Thunder, where the militants were trapped inside the temple and their electricity and food supply was cut off until they surrendered. The man taking up the responsibility was the head of operations of the Intelligence Bureau, Ajit Doval. Posing as an ISI agent, Doval entered the Harminder Sahib and is known to have lived with the enemy for over 2 months.

@@EpicChannelIndia hey epic I used to watch your all shows from the start of your channel , you started with adrishya raja rasoi aur anya kahaniyaan devlok with devdutt patnayak epic ke dus and many many more , I was in 7th standard when your channel launched , I used to watch above mentioned shows daily but in 10th std my operator disconnected epic from my subscription and after then I stopped watching TV that much , those were times when I don’t used to have data on phone but now I can relive my teenage again ! Just remember your watchers are always with you !

@@psyops3652 EMP attacks need an enormous amount of electricity source and must be placed near to the target because they have limited ranges. So for a flying object and that too such a heavy chopper and in such a terrain - EMP is ruled out.
Satellite based attack although theoretically possible but needs the target(chopper) to have a data or radio connection to the satellite. For such a short distance it is ruled out.
MOREOVER another pilot who has flown frequently in that route has mentioned on record that due to the peculiar terrain there, all radio and data link drops the moment any chopper enters the valley and its a known issue for that area. So your second theory is also ruled out.

Infact India too has developed such technology. Its acronym is called DURGA - still not completely matured.
DRDO and some of the Indian Start-Ups have developed drone killer systems - for both hard kill and soft kill - they are all capable of screwing up the electronics of the flying object's control system. But they are not powerful enough for a big target like a chopper.
Weather cannot be manipulated via technology as such - except low intensity impacts like cloud seeding etc. But some damage can be created by causing ice-burst, man-made avalanche etc etc. Climate on the other hand has a direct impact of technology.
