Had the economy been so great, people wouldn't have elected BJP. Inflation was at it peak in 2012, prices of commodities were sky high.
Moreover, in 2004 Atal left GDP rate at 7.something and MMS left it at 7.somehing in 2014 as well. I underatand GDP growth rate isn't the only criteria of how efficient economu is but there Cong govt. didn't do wonders in its 10 year rule. It did satisfactory but not as much asto call it a 'sound economy'. Compare India's then foreign reserve with today's, you'll know how much growth India has seen...

My respect for Dr Manmohan Singh. A PM who had to straddle the party and the govt through deft management skills. History will be gratefull to Sanjaya Baru for chronicling PM Manmohan Singh's journey as a PM.

After watching this movie today I knows about the real contribution of Mr. Manmohan Singh towards making the nation development but due to some issues he was unable to make it possible as shown in the movie.

I am a BJP voter but always respected Dr MMS. Can never question his personal integrity, but we need to admit that he turned a blind eye towards corrupt ministers in his cabinet and not once did he stand up to Sonia although they kept insulting him time and again.

Manmohan ji's character is quite difficult to pull off, Anupam ji did it in such a convincing way. And as the narrator and foreplayer, Akshay ji was just phenomenal. The work Dr Manmohan did behind the scene was so understated. Sanjay Baru played a huge role in unveiling Dr sahab's work. As he said, "History will be kinder to me than the media..."
