- Known as the Black Tiger in the intelligence agencies of India, Ravindra Kaushik was sent to Pakistan as a double agent at the age of 22. As Nabi Ahmed Shakir, Kaushik was given a new identity and sent into Pakistan in 1975. Taking up a family and a law degree in Pakistan, he was fully internalized when the military rule came to Pakistan. His next step was to become part of the army and know the core planning strategies of the military regime. Kaushik’s secrets are considered to have changed the course of wars between India and Pakistan at this point of time, until his arrest.

My late father was a soldier too her served in ISI & went to india twice in 1970's & came back successfully & retired later so i can feel & relate this story very well. ۔ love & peace to everyon. This is first time I got to know much more in details about Ravindra Kaushik sir through EPIC channel. What a great spy he was. Not only him, even his family have sacrificed for the country. Ravindra kaushik will always be braveheart of India, a great patriot and greatest Spy of all time. Knowing his story made me feel low😢😢. He sacrificed himself, his wife & son and his entire family of India. I don't understand why govt didnt try to escape him, atleast they should have shown some effort. He did so much for the county and eventually died out of lack of medicines. Very heartbreaking. Govt must do something for betterment of spies like how they do gathering secret information. This is very old interview. I saw it about 5 years ago randomly on epic channel. I was too late for this show,only last line of his sister interview i remembered. . Such a heart touching and sad story. I cried like I use to when I was a child. Sad to see the family suffering. He died, but he will remain immortal in our history.
Struggle, sacrifice one goes through is immaculate, certainly no one can imagine the pain, social, psychological pain goes through, his family. I literally don't have words to express. I just like appeal our government, please give some credit to these guys and like kaushik sir there must be hundreds of people who needs to be recognised. I know it's a security issue but after certain time period they should be appreciated.
