Thank you two.🤗 You were in the small circle of keto guidance 4 years ago for me. Your recipes helped me ease into the transition. Forever grateful...💜💜💜💜
stay at home mom is definitely a hard job... having a partner that values you is vital. don't forget to tell her at least twice a week that you appreciate her... and when she tried to go back to work, or prefers to do other things in her life that you support her in it. Oh.. and Dinner is ALWAYS GREAT! my hubby learned that early on to always say.. "great dinner".. no matter if it was or wasn't. And.. I had 3 kids.. as they got older and were able we had them do dinner chores so I could sit down (I'm the mom) One swept, one would wipe table, one would put the dishes in the dishwasher.. I'd recommend starting on a chore list that isn't for anything.. just chores of being in a family. I know it's easier to just do it when they are young, but when they are 10 and 12 you will really appreciate that they finish up after dinner and you can rest. We also tried to do a "What did you do at school, or during your day discussion" at the dinner table.. Just ideas that I personally found so enjoyable when raising my kids. You both remind me of my adult kids and their families.
I love your new home and the land you have. So great for raising children! My husband and I are from the Detroit area, but live in Ohio now. But there are so many pretty places in Michigan! So happy to see your family thriving!
The kids are hilarious!😄 Never a dull moment! As a former stay at home mom, I can relate to what you said, Megha! I couldn't wait for hubby to get home for some adult conversation!😊
ITA! Plus, I hated being the "bad guy" who had to discipline, since my husband was not at home all day. I actually had a post-it note next to my toothpaste that said, "This is probably the most important thing you will ever do", as inspiration. It's thankless being a SAHM, but it has more value than we're credited.
Aww so nice to see you guys again. I stopped watching for like 3 years but love watching your family grow especially since I now have 2 boys myself. That tree tho lol! Huge but pretty. Welcome to Michigan!
The tree always looks "small" or small enough until you actually get it in the house. My son's family cuts their tree down every year. After about 10 yrs they started cutting the smaller trees. As a SAHM of 25 years, I will say that it can be a thankless job on the day-to-day but I can also say those were the BEST 25 yrs of my whole life. Being able to raise my own kids, being home for homework, carpools, and sports was a joy and a privilege. It can be challenging when they're still little Megha but it will start to get a little easier and you will find great joy in raising those boys and especially in all of their everyday antics. (mom of 4 boys....and finally 1 girl). You guys are awesome and I really enjoy your regular life content. Keep up the great videos, Matt and Megha.
Love the tree! Your kids have transformed! They are getting so big. It is a ton of work raising kids. I was a stay at home mom for about 6 years out of all my working years because of issues with one of my son's health. I can say those were my most tying times... i worked for attorneys, and that was easier! I do have a few regrets about having my kids raised by private sitters, but I wanted to help share the financial load. Life is so expensive. I hope you're be making more videos soon. I sure do miss seeing them! Best wishes with your new home and new life in Michigan.
Your new home and property are beautiful ❤️ I called to get my furnace cleaned and there was a message, "We moved to southern California!" I live in PA and it's been snowing...to new beginnings!🎉 I'll just live vicariously...
I cut a tree outside once and they look a lot bigger in the house than outside ; ) Great job family. Colored lights are Christmasy and bright and cheerful and white lights are "classy"
Love this new venue. Love your home. I envy you I’m one of those people that fears change. But you are certainly inspiring me to go after my dreams. Can’t wait for the new channel but please don’t stop with the recipes. I know it’s not gonna be all about recipes, but I love all of your recipes. I transitioned away from keto. It was not good for my health. It was too much fat for no gallbladder and heart issues so I love this new healthy eating that you guys have, good luck to you both and merry Christmas
I love how real you are!😄🙌 Having kids all up in your ears all day can be brutal on your sanity🥴 I’ve had two kids, and I work in kindergartens😵💫😅*boiled brain cells
So cute!! I was wondering what had happened to you all. Weirdly it popped up on my Instagram today. You boys are adorable and glad you have moved to the country. Great way to raise kids. We have a cookie party every year before Christmas. I collect cookie cutters. I make the dough and the frosting and turn out garage into a cookie cutting work shop. I’ve done it since my boys were little. Now as grown men I still do it. Invite their friends and we make cookies, drink cocktails and have a buffet table with appetizers. I am in the kitchen backing the cookies the kids make and visiting with parents. So much fun. Everyone goes home with some frosted sugar cookies. It’s a blast. Merry Christmas❤
So happy to see this video. It reminded me of a Time when my husband and a neighbor went to cut us a Christmas tree in a local forest. Out in the woods the trees look smaller than you think, and then when you get it home, ours took up 1/2 the living room😂😂😂 We ended up putting the tree in the front yard and decorating it for the neighborhood. We ended up with maybe a 3 ft tree in our living room! Your tree is gorgeous! Keep it watered.
I started following you guys 7+ years ago for Keto content. I dabble on and off of keto still, even though it became more mainstream I still remember you guys as Keto Pioneers. Yes there were others before, but you made it worth tuning into each video, each recipe. Nice to see you guys doing well, with family and all. It's not really about Keto anymore, this whole life thing, we all know its not sustainable 100% of the time anyway. Its cool you still post, many have clearly stuck around. Video idea for the OG fans, you guys should react to some of your most popular vids. Keto related. How cool would it be to know what you think of it now, or maybe some behind the scene things from the vids if you remember them. Just an idea. See you next video. Sorry this was so long.
Your family is so beautiful and reminds me of my son and his family. My son is half Armenian and half Indian, his wife is Polish and my two grandsons look Polish.
When you get your chickens you will have to get a netting cover.. lot's of folks on utube have made chicken pens with netting over that are very high for tall folks like you.
I was lucky to have had both of my children while living in Germany. My job gave me return rights after 3 years family leave. Often families split 1.5 year for each parent. The first 3 years are very important & you are setting the child up for life. If a father chooses to take 1.5 years he'll end up being much more involved in all home things and it benefits not only the children but the relationship. The 3 year family leave program is common in all industrialized countries except of course here in the US. Something to think about why all of you young families should be politically engaged in your communities & of course vote!
Love your Christmas tree. I was a stay at home mom until my third child went to Kindergarten and feel blessed to have been able to do that. And it is one of the toughest jobs.
Hahaha when you were outside I said that tree is going to be much bigger inside and oh my Lord it’s huge lol but it looks beautiful there especially with that dark wall, what a beautiful backyard, now you have one less tree. 🎄 also, if you get youth stools for the kitchen table to where the boys feet are supported while they’re eating, it supports their back and they are more comfortable in it while eating so glad to see them at the table less mess for mom and dad🙌🏻🫶🏻🎄🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
I noticed in one of your past videos you were letting your basil flower(go to seed)... but just a little info... if you pinch the flowers off as soon as you see them coming on, the basil will just keep growing beautifully... but you must keep a watch on it like at least every 3 days or so & keep those flowers pinched off. Mine grew sooo tall... it was amazing! One of the best garden channels & is simple, but so informative with a lot of "shorts," is SCAREDY CAT GARDNER". I just love this woman's channel. 😂
Beautiful tree and property. The boys are thriving and looking very healthy. Anyday being outside, space and fresh air are all great for the body. Keep on posting. A lot of people will criticize you guys but there are always haters out there. More people like you guys than hate. So don't worry about that. It's just the life you chose at this time. It might change or it might not. Life is full of choices every day.
@@GarudaLegends It is Matt and Megha’s definition. They said they weren’t keto anymore, way back when Megha suffered kidney damage. Hence, the name changing of their channel, dropping keto connect and making it about homesteading.
You could trim off a tier of branches from the bottom. Those are making your tree very wide. Or not! It’s a real tree and real trees are the most beautiful because they’re not perfect shapes, like artificial.
Very difficult to be a parent. I cant convey what I feel. It's like being pecked to death by a chicken. But after they have grown , you regret not paying them more attention.
❤ Truth is, it’s hard to raise kids. And when they’re young it’s exhausting. I promise once they’re older and more independent you’ll have time for yourself again. Megha, it’s so great to see you feeling well again.
Great to see you guys in your new place with your lovely family
Thank you, guys, for blessing us with another great video! It's always nice to see what you all are up to and have in store.
I was a stay at home mom in the 80s . My 3 kids still tell me how glad they were to know I was there if they needed me during school or after school.
I’d love a video about your diet changes and the why’s
I raised three sons. Seeing your littles giggle and fight and play is precious! Thanks for another great video!!! Yall gonna rock this new adventure

“It takes a lot from you but gives nothing back”. Literally laughed out loud
I love your kiddo asking "how are we going to fit it through the front door!?" Future engineer in the family?
Seeing your family in this setting warms my heart ❤ Merry Christmas 🎄 🌲
Love the family dynamic as the boys get bigger. So cute. ❤ lovely tree.

Did he get a job?
Be careful with letting the cats out there some big ol bird could come by and scoop em up. Y'all got them big guys out there!
That happened to my best friend’s cat! The cat fought that bird and the bird did give up, but the cat had puncture wounds all over.
Also up in the Midwest there's ALOT of coyotes
There's a cat run forgot name keeps them safe.

Is this your new place or a holiday let? I haven’t watched since Felix was a newborn. He was cute parroting Theo with happy Christmas Eve!
You had 2 little baby Matt’s. 😂
Awesome episode! Loved it!!
You should dig one out, use it for Xmas, then you can replant it
The soul must be intertwined with each present moment as it is occuring with every breath. Then survival mode will cease to be a thing.
