LOL! They moved to a state with a Democrat dictator governor. That's a HUGE mistake in itself! Soon they will be lucky to plug their ELECTRIC snowblower into any power supply when there are rolling blackouts from a solar/wind only energy system. LOLOL! Good luck, guys!
Meg, your daily life vlogs are so relatable and heartwarming. From snowy adventures to family moments, it feels like catching up with friends. Excited for the new chapter!
I have followed since the days of your small little apartment when u just stated your channel. Listened to your podcasts, warched you get married, move to your first home. You have invited us into your lives through COVID, illness, birth of your boys, and being vulnerable about changes for your future. Life is not meant to stay the home, to be stagnet and complacent. Your new home is so warm and lovely looking and i can see the love and respect your are showing each other and your home. Congrats on doing your life the way you WANT!!! XOXO sending you all the best energy from OH-IO! 😂
I’m guessing you’re not keto anymore. Bummer, I really loved your recipes and tips. You helped me lose almost 100 pounds, I was hoping you’d get back to your amazing keto content. Thank you for all you’ve done, good luck in your future endeavors 😊
See, I'm glad they aren't keto anymore. Read The China Study and other large studies for the last 100 years, and realize that the long-term consumption of animal products is behind the rise of chronic disease.
Why bummer? People change and evolve. It's selfish of you to want them to stay the same just because you miss the recipes. There are a TON of other Keto channels.
@@atomic_poppycalm down as there’s no need to be a weird person on the defense. OP just missed the old times that helped. The channel is still called keto connect
Keto affected Megha's health badly, as I recall. That was the reason they stopped being keto. It does not work out well for everyone. It didn't for me either. I do much better on low to moderate carb, rather than keto.
Please talk about why you stopped eating keto. Just your thoughts about that. Your house is beautiful! And I m glad you’re creating more of a structure for kids, like only eating at the table, and having them help out. It’s so good for them. It gives them a sense of security, a feeling of being capable, and it puts you in charge instead of them.
I started following your journey for keto, but I feel in love with both of you and then your pup, kitties and of course the boys. Loving seeing you all get out of your comfort zone and excited to see where your journey takes all of you!!! Can't wait to see Matt's visions come to life along with your help.
Life is certainly an evolution. And our values and priorities shift and morph as we mature. Happy for you guys and sticking around despite the channel changes. And your move to MI was certainly an awesome time to implement changes (like not eating on the couch or starting the boys with chores). From my experience (I'm over a decade ahead of you) it's been so gratifying to know my kids know how to do things. Sometimes it's frustrating or cumbersome to have the littles "help" but I can testify that it's worth the time and effort. Way to go!! You won't be sorry!! And excited to see Matt 's woodworking too
Love this new transition!! Also have loved watching you both grow as your family has grown. You are amazing parents and I'm excited to see all your adventures and projects to come!
First I have to say Megha you look great. It’s so good to see you looking healthy again. Matt looks good too. So excited to see this new adventure your family is on. I stopped doing keto about a year and a half ago but still watched your videos and updates because your content has always been more than just food to me anyway. So onward. Matt and power tools 😬
Congrats! I look forward to seeing you guys on this new journey and learning with you! I wish you all the best and am so glad that you are doing well, Meg. Thanks for sharing!
I haven't had one of your videos recommended in YEARS - omg when I saw you have TWO kids! Congrats on your success - your new property looks like perfection - so peaceful - a dream for raising two boys!
I hope you are settling in well. It looks like a beautiful change of scenery. I was thinking you may have renamed your channel by now but I'm glad I found you still on keto connect even if you are no longer keto and will keep my eye out for any channel name changes that may come ! Beautiful family. Beautiful home- that rock wall is sick. Blessings
It's so weird, I followed this account back in the day doing keto. I've also transitioned away from keto, but I also live in rural Northern Minnesota in a forest and it's wonderful how slow life feels here. We don't have kids, but it's crazy how quickly our nieces and nephews have grown up, and I'm sure with your own kids it's nice to give them this new lifestyle as you learn how you like your family to live.
It's been so fun watching your family grow and content evolve. I've lived in all 3 and in my experience the country is the best. There's nothing like country tranquility and the space to get your toes and hands in the dirt...you're in for a treat when your boys are a bit older and they start exploring nature! My 3 oldest boys are teens now and I miss those years in the country w them! Im so thankful my youngest son is 10 and is still a tree and dirt explorer! Lol I live in the north east and homes are incredibly expensive here. We live in a village district now ( small neighborhood right outside the city limits) and desire moving back to the country so much but it doesnt make practical sense to give up our interest rate, so here we stay. Im grateful for the bit of earth we do have though and that our property abuts some protected nature trails so that we do still enjoy nature while being only 7 minutes to the city. Enjoy making your new house a home! Cant wait to see all your projects! ❤
I love the direction your channel has taken! As a parent I appreciate how you guys do not edit out the parts the children are loud and keep the shaky takes! It feels so normal and relatable! I’m not watching some fake “perfect” family life but the real perfectly imperfect family. Keep up the content! I believe in the direction you will take your channel 🥰
I’m here for this kind of content!! Our family had the same kind of evolution into “homestead-ish” living several years ago and I can’t recommend it highly enough. So excited for y’all! 😊
This is so exciting! I love watching your guy's videos. Both of you are so down to earth and real. I'm here for all the content and excited for more videos. You guys have been missed so much! My whole family watches your videos.
I love this for you so much! I've followed this the OG days in Philly. We also recently moved to the country and I'm living a life I never thought I would live. Plans shift and we find the path that's best for us.
Remember, the only constant in life is change! I'm so happy for your new adventures in Michigan! Starting a garden is a labour of love and it can be daunting sometimes, but the more you learn, the more you love it! Seeing as you are in the same State, I highly recommend subscribing to the MI Gardener YT channel! I've followed Luke's growing guides for years, even though I live in the mountains in BC, Canada, they are informative and easy to follow. His channel has years of gardening content, he also has a young family and has been through many changes the last few years, I think you will love it! I can't wait to see what you decide to do next with your sweet little whirlwinds! Best of luck to you in your new home!
Thank you for continuing to share your beautiful family with us. I truly enjoy all your content and love seeing how much the boys have grown. Many Blessings to your sweet family.
It was so wonderful to see your new home and how the children have grown as the last time I checked in was late spring. I’m looking forward to life on the farm!❤
Misleading thumbnail! Looked like you were moving into a humble cabin but turns out to be a McMansion. Not exactly homesteading. Welcome to Michigan though.
Homesteading is defined as anything you make or source yourself in your own home. It does not specify what kind of home or how rural, etc. They now have 10 acres of their own land, plan to grown/garden a lot of their own food and hunt meat. How is that NOT homesteading?
I feel like I missed something 😂 Did you ever address why you decided not to be keto anymore? Was it health reasons? Love you guys got to the country, can’t wait to watch this chapter of your lives!❤
I feel like it's probably a combination of things. 1. Having kids makes doing certain diets more difficult. 2. Megha's health issues probably play a huge part. I have a brother with kidney issues, and he has a lot of food restrictions. 3. Matt has said in other videos that he has been the type of person who experiments with different diets. This is just my guess, but I like them as a family and have been watching since Philly, so I will continue to watch.
@@LesyaHolzapfel I completely agree, I myself have stopped Keto for health reasons. I was just curious if they had talked about their why and I missed it!
I went from following Dr. Berg's advice on being keto to following Anthony Williams (medical medium) protocol to heal disease is very much opposite of high fat diet. I'm curious why they are no longer keto, too but I think Matt realized he wanted to start drinking orange juice and increasing carbs after reading a book from a guy he was following
Thanks for the update. Your lives are none of our business.. but many of us watched when you guys were first starting, still working at lawyer?? But before marriage and kids.. Love the noise. That's a great sign of a happy family.
Hey Matt, look into the Ikea cubby/cube shelve hack. People are turning them vertical , screwing together and trimming out with quarteround. They make perfect bookshelves with a built-in look. @KetoConnect Yes! I started watching for keto but, now love watching for so much more. I look forward to this new chapter. Beautiful home! I can feel the calm already. This house is so cozy.
My babies ate a great variety until we switched to cows milk. They must put corn syrup in that stuff. And we always got the organic kind. No matter. After that, they craved sweets. Regrets..
Good to see you guys! Everyone looks great! What a big change for you. The boys have gotten so big! So precious. I think you'll be more happier in the country. Its a slower way of life. The kids will love it! (I live in the country/suburbs of Atlanta 👋where I've raised my kids). They loved it and they turned out to be great adults...responsible, respectful and hard working. The country helped with that, I believe. Been following you since Philadelphia and was on the Keto journey with you. Ive been off Keto for about 2 years but going back after the holidays. I felt so good on Keto, so much energy and felt clean~body and mind. I've felt really shitty since I stopped. I want to thank you for ALL the content you guys have put out over the years. Your cookbooks, cooking shows, your podcast, IG lives in the mornings, etc., it really helped me, you have no idea. I miss the the Murder stories you used to have, was it on Thursday nights? Maybe you can pick that back up after the kids go to bed.🤞😉 That was so much fun. Anyway, its been quite awhile since Ive seen you guys and its really good to see your lovely faces again. You were such a huge part of my everyday life for a lot of years. Love your little family. ❤
I'm really excited for your family to make this transition into sustainability and self-sufficiency. You have a beautiful home and property! After spending my childhood on a working farm and moving to an suburban environment I prefer the close proximity to amenities that 'city living' accommodates. But I definitely miss having a huge garden and preserving all our own food. It's very empowering to grow your food and know exactly what's in it. I have my garden planned and my seeds arriving next week so I'm ready to start my seeds in February. I can't wait to see what you decide to plant!
Misleading title. It was getting long winded so I just cut it short. This channel is for people who like Kardashian type reality shows. It was a good channel at first with good information. Not so much anymore.
Love this new stage in y'all's life. So happy y'all are sharing this with us. I dream of someday moving out to the country. The reality of kids yelling everytime y'all try to speak is soooo relatable 😩😄❤
I hope you guys find joy in your new homestead in Michigan. Being from Michigan myself the best part of Michigan for me is the 4 seasons. While winter cold can suck it really only lasts about 4 months and there is beauty even in the snow. Life changes all the time that is what I see in your channel and look forward to watching where the change takes you guys. How awesome to be able to cut a xmas tree from your own yard.
I miss the Keto content, but I see how you need to evolve on your journey. I will also be moving to Michigan in a year or so. Maybe I will run into you! It'a a beautiful state. I will keep dropping by your videos now and then (as I have for a few years now) to see how you are doing. Good luck!
Mistakes are just learning lessons of life so that we learn and grow as humans. They are a necessity of human growth. I know it's cliche to say but things happen for a reason. You may not see it now or a month or a year or even years, but you will. You're young and have decades of life ahead and will make more mistakes, but that's one of the many wonders of life. Get some rest though, you always look exhausted
I think that it would help your subscribers if you explain why you are no longer Keto, for those of us who have dabbled in it it may help to know your reasoning for coming off it thanks
Megha had kidney issues and they were advised to go off keto. You can also find their video titled, "Trying a New Diet After Five Years", it's from almost 2 years ago, in which Matt explains his attraction to the Peat diet (which I don't agree with, but it's none of my business)
I am loving this change for all of you the house is so cozy feeling with the rock and wood. The space outside is a game changer that is amazing cant wait to see whats ahead.
Welcome to your beautiful new home, your new surroundings, your new adventure. Very exciting times for your family. Don't look at the past as a mistake; it was good at the time but you're moving on and trying new things. That is what life is all about. That is how you grow. Enjoy this new chapter of your life. Mega, do you look a little sad 😢? Looking forward to seeing how this new life works out. Best of luck.
lol wow! I left keto to be vegan. @I made a mistake” I switched to pescatarian because all that fluid from carbs overworked my kidneys and lymph nodes. Anyway,,, look at you two now!?! Kids?!? A farm!?! What the world! This is a blessing. Thanking GOD for showing you two so much favor 🙌🏽 May GOD continue to bless you and your sweet children 💛
So nice seeing you two again, omg at the boys, so big now, and super cute. Your new home is beautiful. Much love, good health and joy to all who live there.
I would love to see you two go back and react to videos you made before Theo was born when you were talking about how strict the kids diets were going to be and what your life was going to look like on paper. It would be cool to see your reflection on your growth from being two people who just had a lot of knowledge and zero experience with children to becoming two parents who have wisdom and experience now.
We moved from California to Montana. Huge learning curve! I just watch how the neighbors handle the snow. It’s crazy what we drive on, you might need to snow blow the whole driveway 😊 the yellow walls are probably because the winters are dark and long. Enjoy the new adventure!
i came for the Keto, but I've stayed for the family. I'm excited for your new life -- and your new channel. Thanks for continuing to share your family with us. ❤❤
Really appreciate you sharing your lives with us. I’m really loving your channel and I have been a subscriber for several years. I still click on your videos to watch them right away!
Congratulations on the next season of your life journey. Very excited to see you progress. Love that you are implementing eating meals at a table. The best thing you can do is to teach your children to break bread at a table and have conversations while enjoying each other's company, so that when you send them out into the world they have this life skill. How will we find the new channel? Or will you just change the name of this one?
Beautiful home and land! Being close to family will help a lot too. This could be a forever home and you can always spend some harsh winter months down south traveling in harsh winter months and his parents or someone can fed animals in your absence. Homesteading is so fun. With the state of our country presently, y’all have made the right choice to become self sufficient! Can’t wait to watch the journey. It will be a safe place to raise those sweet boys.

I sure miss your keto content!!! You were probably my first TH-camr keto exposure back in 2018 when I started.... But love your family, and you can't go wrong in the country! We did it for about 25 years when our family was young too. 🎄

Looking forward to seeing the book shelves hope to see some how to videos on them. Continued blessings beautiful family!!🙏🏽💖
So I've been lost for ages years because I dropped Keto during COVID and kinda felt guilty watching keto-related stuff. Are you guys still doing the true crime segment? I loved that. I'm a giant TC fan and I really liked your summaries and the commentary. Hopefully y'all keep or bring back that segment when you change the name. BTW, beautiful kids...Theo has grown up so much! My goodness. Felix is new (for me lol) so congrats on tgat. Beautiful family and always so cool and visionary. Glad to be back. Good. Luck in Michigan.
Yes, compost breaks down slower in the winter. Plus it’s not getting any sun right there. If it’s not getting sun, it won’t compost as fast I love composting it’s the richest soil for the garden. Plus it saves all of the green scraps from landfills.

Love the update! I love the family content and just really enjoy your channel. ❤
Congratulations on your move. Matt & Megha sounds great. All the best to your family in this exciting time.
Misleading title. It was getting long winded so I just cut it short. This channel is for people who like Kardashian type reality shows. It was a good channel at first with good information. Not so much anymore.
Yeah, don't really care what furniture they are buying and listening to kids scream
Love this new stage in y'all's life. So happy y'all are sharing this with us. I dream of someday moving out to the country. The reality of kids yelling everytime y'all try to speak is soooo relatable 😩😄❤
I've been homesteading in Hawaii for 12 years. I'm super excited to see what you guys do! Love this turn of events!
Congratulations, how exciting taking life by the horns! What a great experience for the boys. So excited to see all you will be getting up to. Enjoy❤️
I am so homesick for Michigan watching this.......
I miss the Keto content, but I see how you need to evolve on your journey. I will also be moving to Michigan in a year or so. Maybe I will run into you! It'a a beautiful state. I will keep dropping by your videos now and then (as I have for a few years now) to see how you are doing. Good luck!
Awesome. I’m glad you’re focusing more on telling us your story. That’s always been what’s compelled me to watch your videos.
Congratulations! I have been watching you all for years! I can’t wait to see all the exciting changes! ❤
😂 they are all talk
Keto is very hard on the kidneys, so no surprise
They are trying to bring the veiws ($$$) back up. 🙁
They have but at this point just change the name of the channel. Personally stopped watching them. To many click bait and bloggy videos.
Always enjoy how you 4 are going thru life..I also started due to Keto but now its just fun to watch you go thru life as a family..Lucky couple.
I am loving this change for all of you the house is so cozy feeling with the rock and wood. The space outside is a game changer that is amazing cant wait to see whats ahead.
Wow!!! Just yesterday, I checked if yall posted! It's lovely seeing yall! 🇸🇦 🇿🇦
I'm delighted to see the new homestead- what a gorgeous home!
I love seeing you back! Glad to enjoy of your channel again!
Im excited for your new channel plans. Im a wisconsinite so you're not that far away. I hope you love your new place. Good luck
.
Did i miss the "mistake"? 🙄 Click bait much?
i came for the Keto, but I've stayed for the family. I'm excited for your new life -- and your new channel. Thanks for continuing to share your family with us. ❤❤
So yall dropped keto?
Beautiful place you have there. I think it’s a great move, especially for your kids.
Or will you just change the name of this one?
i watched the whole video but somehow missed the mistake referred to in the title. musta nodded off.
Wow I stepped away for awhile and bam! You guys eat lots of carbs. 😮
What big mistake?? I kept waiting for the big reveal and there’s none 😂
I just love your family so much!!! I have followed yall ever since 2018 when I started keto. Your videos helped me so much. I also used to watch all of your Instagram lives- So much fun! I also no longer do keto (now I tell people I do “keto with carbs” 😂) but will always follow you. Love all of the content yall have shared through the years 😍
just checked back to see if there's an update. Glad you're back in MI. Wish we might see you again on here, down the road. Good luck.
Congratulations on your new home! I love seeing what's new in your lives. Wow, the kids have gotten so big. Stay warm over there in Michigan.
Also- that soup looks amazing. It’s been awhile since I tuned in but I really enjoy seeing yall be PARENTS! How cool
Missed you guys! What an exciting adventure. Thank for letting us come along!❤
We got into keto because of you guys..now we are enjoying our carnivore lifestyle.. so sad you've moved on..glad you got in the country and close to family 😊
I will miss the keto content, please add some of it to your content, it has helped my health journey
Congratulations on your new homestead in the country, it looks beautiful. I love your kitchen! I wish I could live in a place in the country. Future goal!
You guys look great. The boys sure look alike. Megha you look very relaxed, Matt seems very happy and excited to begin your new adventure. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Love this!! New place in country is fantastic!! So envious. But confused with the title..... what was a mistake?
Clickbait.
I found you guys during your Philly Era. I believe you were one of the first TH-cam channels I binged and watched religiously. I am so looking forward to this Era.
I hadn't watched you two in some time and didn't know you had moved. I enjoy seeing you two and your boys.
I sure miss your keto content!!! You were probably my first TH-camr keto exposure back in 2018 when I started.... But love your family, and you can't go wrong in the country! We did it for about 25 years when our family was young too. 🎄
Congrats on the new place and new adventure. I’m excited to see the progress of the new chapter in your guys life.
Will you still keep the Keto Connect website active? You have so many good recipes. Enjoy your new country life. I love the outdoor space.
Hey KC! Props on y'alls life and family together! I started watching y'all back in 2017. I vote MXM VLOGS for a new channel name!
The boys are so adorable!! I couldn't believe that was Felix on the counter he got so big!! I'm so happy to see you all doing so well. It will be my pleasure to join you on your new journey. Looking forward to seeing the book shelves hope to see some how to videos on them. Continued blessings beautiful family!!🙏🏽💖
WOW!!! I've been following you guys for a while. I remember both of your son's births. Time ⏲️ really flies.
having kids, growing older...changes things :) so glad to see you still making content :)
So great to see you guys, I was wondering how things were going. Snow already huh! I love watching how you and your family have blossomed and I'm excited for this new chapter in your lives. Wow Theo and Felix have really grown and they're so helpful.cute cats🐱
I moved back to Michigan with my family recently too! Its a beautiful place. Love the content you've created in the past and very excited to see what's to come. Thanks for sharing with us!
Looks like a great new place. So nice to see you guys back on and sharing. How are you all adjusting to the Michigan cold? It can be bone chilling that is for sure. WB
