Would love if tree kin/men would have an aura that would Trigger forest stalker for infantry like wildwood rangers
Because basically fighting next to a tree kin unit ist like fighting next to a living forest
I‘d like that, as long as it‘s only during non-combat.
Because if the trees are moving and smashint your battlebrothers, you can suspect they are indeed not tress

My tabletop wood elf army is autumn themed. Totally suggest it as it's a great color theme.
Would really like to see a speed buff for wood elf cav. They are way squishier than most other cav and they always had better speed to compensate. Now heavy cav are 1 speed slower than Wild Riders, who are still overpriced and power creeped in a huge way.
I feel like Orion needs more ammo. He feels to expensive for a hybrid unit
I would prefer range. Make him a bolt thrower. With extra ammo you can kite halberds but that's about it, I think...
He needs a mod to turn him into Old Spice Terry Crews and throw sticks of deodorant

What he needs is speed. He has a hard time hunting characters, and a hard time keeping up with his own army because he been skipping sprints.

Ahh, 6:33. The deadful f*** you in particular mechanics of warhammer. Instead of attacking a model from the targeted unit close to him, he wants to go after that one guy, who insulted his mother or something idk, but since he is blocked by other models (of the same unit!) he just rubs against them without doing anything.
Way to go CA, way to go! Although to be honest, i doubt that such things will ever get fixed.

Orion's item the Cloak of Isha got massively nerfed in TWW3. It used to be 40% ward save (now 20%). It used to heal 8hp/s, now 11hp/s. It's one of the biggest nerfs from game 2 to game 3, and turned Orion from good but not great into trash.
I feel like I see Stag Knights lose the game most of the time that I see them
I think it’s due to 2 things, 1. Stag knights are some of the squishiest monstrous cav in the game. 2. The buff to speed that a lot of heavy cav received in game 3 has made it so heavy cav that couldn’t catch stag knights in game 2 suddenly (if they are in charge range) can.
Stag knight are glass cannons so they need to be faster than the cav that can tear them apart. It’s a similar reason to why we don’t see wild riders anymore
I don't know any cav matchups that WE's even can win, like everything gets outtraded by practically every other cav in the game and now with the speed changes they can't even outrun any of them. Sad WE main

Loved watching you play some WE, and I am even more glad to hear that you're thinking about them on the TT! You'll have to show us the army whenever that channel/game gets up and running!
This matchup is historically rough for WE, but it was cool to see your take on it. Running with wide spears and AP archers was solid in the beginning but the peasant tide cometh.
WE cav rarely works against any faction, except for hunting down artillery or archer units. Just to weak and/or expensive to go up against other cav or elite infantry. And with BRT having so many powerful anti large cav units it’s even worse.

Fun WE fact: Zoats remove magic attacks from stuff they bonk and can actually wreck grail knights. They wreck pretty much everything on the Bretonnian roster actually but theyre cheaper than grails.
You absolutely won the opening engagement. If you could have kept your formation more closed, maybe brought in the stag knights as a back line screen with some spears hustling behind, I'd bet your archers would have been able to win this game. Ggwp, way to show a loss & appreciate your commentary

Do Treemen & Speardancers work well together, or does Treemen & Eternal Guard work better?
In MP you want Eternal Guard, they're almost half the cost of the Asrai spears while still doing work against cav.
The shielded Eternal guard have 26MA, 44MD and 24Dam, 20 of which is AP. Asrai Spears have 30MA, 49MD and 32Dam, 20 of which is AP. So you're getting a roughly 10% boost to MA & MD and no extra AP damage, which is what's important against heavy cav, for a 60% increase in cost. They just aren't worth it as a holding unit.
Treekin are slow for monstrous infantry, so Eternal Guard keep up with them just fine (34 speed vs 33). The comparison to Speardancers isn't quite as bad as Callum made it out to be (Speardancers have higher BvL, which does increase their AP a bit, and with good micro their MA dance can help them destroy any cav unit they catch), but it's still *pretty* bad. They're too expensive and fragile to be a good frontline spear, and against Bretonnia you are always going to be outnumbered to the point of having to take inefficient fights with them. Eternal Guard have the same issue to an extent, but it's not as pronounced.
Speardancers have a bit of a niche as a cavalry support unit bc of their speed, but the cav game is such a losing proposition against Bretonnia after all the buffs to their knights that trying to lean into it is a huge risk. Even your light cav is at risk of being run down by lance formation knights if they ever get into charge range.

I love wood elves but I think they don't hit hard enouth to justify their lack of armor and few units with stalker, especially the wild riders who have little armor, just decent speed, not armor piercing or with bonuses, so in my opinion a valid option would be to grant them stalker and make them the first invisible cavalry, what would your opinion be?
Did you hear? Warhammer The Old World was going to have Bretonnia v Tomb Kings as the starter set. I hear it’s coming out this month.
