Empire is (im looking at names of cities and units) a weird language mix-up of German and English.
the empire is the HRE but Bretonnia is closer to Arthurian myths England and Brittany than just France (wich was historically partly french after william the conqueror, hence why the nobles speak with a heavy accent)
Having a Total Warhammer will cause destruction to many but can you imagine if you had a Total Jackhammer?

You can have your trees push through to interrupt their archers. Or hold some outside of the blob. I'm only 30 minutes in so maybe you talk about it in the last few minutes but it hurt watching you get torn up by missile weapons

not to be a dick but why you put your archers in the forest? trees block like 80% of the arrows
Now that’s a great point, complete oversight on my part 😅
They changed that ages ago didn't they? If I recall, the arrows move through the trees for the first couple of seconds or something like that.
Just looked it up, there's a 1.5 second period where your arrows will not hit trees. Also anything with Forest Stalker gets bonuses fighting in woods.

@@WindsOfficial to each his own I guess. I use a mod that reduces military upkeep by 50 percent, but even with that that the most I've ever had on the field is 7. It just helps me finish campaigns faster. I can usually hit the long camp victory by turn 115 or 130. It also allows me to create thematic armies with being able to use the units I want instead of just what I can afford. You should check that mod out if you like spamming armies. You won't be able to go crazy but it will help you push out a few extra armies as your campaign goes on. It pretty much puts on a level playing field with the a.i. as they almost get the exact same benefits.
