Great video!!! I’m literally menu planning when I found this video! I’m heading north - where food is even more expensive & sometimes limited. So I need to be prepared for 2 weeks.
I am grouping everything together- so I know I have what I need. Then I can fresh stuff as I need it. I’m making sure I have lots of staples.

Hi @laurahockman6341! I'm so glad you found my video helpful! Last summer I actually planned food for a month-long trip and I only shopped once before we hit the road. I have a blog post about keeping veggies fresh you might find helpful. You can find it here www.campingforfoodies.com/camping-veggies/
Here are my recipes that use shelf-stable ingredients www.campingforfoodies.com/camping-food-recipes-no-refrigeration/
I'm curious to know where you are heading to in the north? Some of our friends went to Alaska and said the prices got higher along their travel route. The further north, the more expensive everything was (they started their trip in Arizona). We've got that destination on our bucket list so I'm gathering information from others that have experience.

@@CampingforfoodiesKimHanna thank you for the links!
I’m headed to Hazelton, BC. That is on the way to Alaska- if you go through BC.
It definitely gets more expensive- this why I am stocking up now. Plus stores run into limited stock all the time. And I’m visiting family & still working a bit - I do not want to be running to the store for groceries, with my camper on the back of my truck. If I need a few fresh things - that’s what I will pick up. My food boxes etc. will add a lot of weight - but to me it’s worth it for the convenience.
