You don't have to remove power steering pump, alternator, or the valve cover. Just loosen and remove belts, remove harmonic balancer, remover lower cover bolts, and you can pull cover away and reach the sensor. It's literally right there and only one bolt. Swap it, button it back up. If you're tearing that much crap off engine, might as well swap belt and water pump, lol.
The power of cut - takes seconds to get that nut off. I spent days getting the legendary crank bolt of shame loose on my 2004. A Honda dealership later gave me a tip(while they did the airbag igniter recall) to use two breaker bars lined up 45deg to the floor and lower the car onto them to break the thing loose. I'm about to do it again after 110k miles on the previous job(2015). It's currently doing the start and shut off w/o codes so I'm doing all the things in there enroute to troubleshooting those two sensors and since it's due anyway. Crank and cam sensors, timing belt(probably stretchy by now) water pump, front main seal and alternator since I have a new one on hand.(also due) I recommend doing all these at once, adjust valve lash and get a new valve cover gasket kit - and be sure to use the new grommets on the vc bolts if you haven't before as the old ones don't push down hard enough to make a good seal. Even with 40+yrs keeping cars alive on my own, never hurts to review. Thank you for the step by step. :)

Why am I having such a hard time wiggling the lower timing belt cover off? I’m reading that I have to take the valve cover and upper timing belt cover off ?
because they make it look easy when actually there’s more than 4 bolts and also lower cover sits under the upper which means you either have to screw your lower cover up trying to rip it out from underneath the upper or you have to take the whole valve cover off to get the top cover off. This caused me just now to snap my lower cover which i replaced not even a year ago because i tried pulling it out without removing the upper first. Their instructions are flawed on this one.
Can I purchase a Crank Sensor from you? Is there a difference in quality from a cheap Chinese replacement one, or an oem Honda, or Denso brand?????
