My brother had a moth in his ear when he was 9, and then a bee when he was 12. Poor guy must have very inviting ears.

From Judy🇦🇺. Our nephew had a cricket in his ear when he was 3. Poor kid was in a lot of pain and they had to drown it to remove it as it kept making noise causing more pain.
Oof after two seperate incidents I think it might be better to just always wear ear plugs!

I had a spider in my ear... I pulled it out with some tweezers thinking it was like fuzz or something and almost past out it when I saw what it was the worst experience ever

I was in the waiting room at the ER and this man came in just screaming and smacking his own head against the wall, clawing at his face and just acting totally nuts. Turned out he had a wasp ( or maybe hornet??) in his ear that was moving around and apparently is was very painful for him. I saw him when he was leaving and he had the wasp in a little specimen cup. It was huge. Giant!! I don’t know how it even fit into his ear! I could not imagine how awful that felt. Once it was removed the guy was acting totally normal again.
As an arachnophobe that's my worst nightmare, I would really freak out
When I was a child, I was staying the night at my grandparents farm. I woke up to a fkn spider in my mouth!!
After that, I learned how to sleep with my mouth closed real quick!

Spiders are scared! Aren’t they? Some zre point isonoue and can infect ypu. Eith aflech eating necrotic condition! It’s enoubn to worry about it’s like being a woman walking down a dark street alone accept for the guy who seems to be following her!

Having a big fear of having bugs and other nasty critters inside my ears, I am glad to know that the dog didn't actually have a spider in there. You guys are amazing. I don't wanna become a vet because I'm not fit for it, but I love animals and really appreciate the work that vets do.
Honestly it's very sad for me to see that people are unliking this video. The hard work and dedication of these people are amazing. It just makes my day, seeing vets treating pets like it's theirs; a friend even.
I kind of understand it. They started cutting the operation scenes recently (I assume because of TH-cam rules) and I don't like the white screen explanations. Just explain it in the moment then it doesn't seem so stiff and forced. Also a lot of people have trouble with certain episodes being geolocked. I guess it's annoying to click on an episode just to realize that for some unexplained reason this particular episode is banned for your country. The doctors are still great but the show has its flaws.

Same!!! I'm not a huge fan of spiders but im against killing em. Actually, before I saw this episode my brother found a spider in the bathroom and had to kill it. I would've just let it be, personally, while keeping a close eye on it.

I remember years ago watching a video of a man in the ER with a spider in his ear (tiny one) and they just gently flushed it out with some water (he lay down and they put a tray near his ear, they trickled water into his ear, slowly, and the spider walked out of his ear...it was neat. No fuss, no panic. Just water in and spider out.) They actually caught the spider in a sample jar and released it outside.
Ruby is such a precious little girl. I am sure she will feel better now.
I took a call the other day from Bondi and thought of you. I work at a call center for the hearing impaired in the US and we Captel, took the load up from your call centers during the fires back in January and are still doing Aussie calls. God Bless

My sister had a similar situation with both her Staffordshire Terriers getting seeds in their ears.
After that she would wrap their heads/ ears if they were camping during seed season.
They were very fashion forward.
So many quokkas on one place! That is really amazing and encouraging for this species.
In every episode of Bondi Vet, including this one, you see one of the vets kiss an animal on the head. For some reason, it really struck me today ... What if medical providers (for people) would give a little kiss on the head when the patient feels unwell. Just a thought.

I understand what you mean. If doctors could show more kindness, love and care. But I don't think it would ever be happening. Doctors can never show affection by kissing their. It would be wrong for so many reasons.

Yup, that was an awkward conversation, lol 😂. I’m thinking if she’s that driven to mate - let her!! Borrow a male, if you don’t want to own two birds - let her have a clutch so she doesn’t get herself Egg bound. My dad’s Cocktail died that way.

Here in Puerto Rico we need vets like him. We don't even have a twenty four hour Animal Hospital. After 6:00 PM everything shuts down. Especially if you are not on the Metropolitan side of the island. I tell my children that veterinarians are an intricate part of our healthcare system. When our pets get sick we get extremely anxious which can lead to us getting ILL.
Unfortunately Veterinarians are the most unrecognized profession.
Now I as a human being have one regret. I deeply regret that I was born with just two hands which means that I have only two THUMBS. This Veterinarian and channel deserves a GAZILLION THUMBS up all around! KUDOS to you guys!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇵🇷

I've been to Rottnest! People are told not to feed them but if you crouch down they will approach you looking for food. They even rummaged through my bags when I put them down to get photos with my DSLR. Unfortunately I saw tourists cornering them and making them uncomfortable for the sake of selfies...
Sad. The fact they approach people looking for handouts tells you that some people do feed them.
Thank God there are those who take care of animals. Defenseless creatures who often need human help. Animals are better than most of the people walking around.

I feel so bad for Cheeky, I feel like I know exactly how the poor birb feels, frustrated to the point of self-injury. Even with Cheeky, her owner had trouble getting the words out on what was troubling her, and it's exactly how I feel when other people ask me "why did you hurt yourself like that?" I mean I'm kinda obligated to lie and say I'm depressed or somethin, you can't just tell the truth about something like that, not even to hospital staff.

I camped under the stars when I was on a Poker run... I had one of those sticker seeds in my ear in next morning..and had to travel home with that thing in my ear while riding on my motorcycle... it was dreadful. Great job doc

Grass seeds get in their ears sometimes, happened to my dog Sandy. They're like barbs! Poor Ruby, but she's in good hands.

I had an insect fly straight into my ear. The sensation of it moving triggered nausea and dizziness. A friend had to drive me to the Dr. glad for pup that it was seeds.

I had an ant in my ear once which my husband JUST managed to grab hold of with the tweezers while trying not to push down further or injure my ear (quite risky I know but hospital is over an hour drive and I wasn't going through that pain for another hour), neighbours came running to the house after hearing me screaming due to the ant constantly biting.
Ruby is so beautiful, and such a sweetheart, you can tell.

I had a spider make itself at home in my ear for about 3 weeks. Drove me crazy, literally. I could hear it crawling around in my ear. I was unable to flush it out. It finally crawled out.
