Some amazing life saving procedures, can't help but wonder what on earth caused the shepherds injury when jumping in the water. So sorry her outcome wasn't what we hoped, but the doctor did his absolute best. Kyle's little hedgehog back and recovering, and the pythons are no longer eating this kind woman's chickens. Thank you for sharing their journeys!🐕🐍❤️👍
annephillips1870 Yes, I heard him say that a couple of times, and in the end it ended up being cancer, so by having to amputate the Dr. saved his life. I had made my comment before the end, and probably should have waited. Sorry about that! Cheers and have a pleasant Sunday❤️
I rewound this video several times so I could hear him say "Look at the size of this snake poo!!" over and over. It's a phrase I didn't think I'd hear.
My heart sunk when the Dr. could not set the GSD Maxie's leg. It is a wonderful breed, but owners can get their hearts broken with health issues. We lost our big boy to gastric torsion. They person who overfed him did not know how dangerous it could be.
It’s so sad seeing Maxie with just 3 legs but it is also a blessing what happened, even though what happened to her was terrible but now she can live a happier healthier and longer life being cancer free ❤️
Imagine having to examine an Elephant from the back end and its incontinent. Welcome to Pink Eye and various other infections...just because we love animals. That being said there's sometimes not much you can do for hygiene in the field.
If someone gets dirty, they can get hosed off. Is the way I look at it. I am glad hedge hog recovered from surgery. Somehow Maxie was guided to the water. In order to get her to the vet to look at her leg. With screws not taking was a sign to take her leg and send it off. Thank goodness cancer didn’t spread. Maxie has a full life ahead of her. God bless all the animals and their owners.
This episode reminds me of the Aussie Snake Wranglers show I have seen a few times. Maybe they should have called them; they are professionals and definitely could have handled the situation.
I respect Billy but I feel like he's trying too hard to be exciting aka Steve Irwin. This seemed unnecessarily risky unless there was a team on standby in case it didn't work
5:11 Am I tripping, but what is this accent? Her, the vet in the previous clip and even the dog owner in the previous clip have accents that sound aussie but also european ? is this just a coincidence or is there a part of australia because Ive never heard an accent like it until these videos lol
Dee Dee sounded either German or Dutch, possibly Swiss- the Europeans are also fascinated with Australia- me - not brave enough for Australia ( those spiders scare me more than the snakes
Awesome episode as always. I have kind of an unpopular opinion but I really wonder why very old people have pets, especially a german sheperd... it needs a lot of exercise, you can't lift it if it is in a bad state like that, you might forget important things and if you get sick you really have to have someone to take care of it... but also I'm not that old yet so I might have a different opinion later 😅
I understand your thought. They want/need pets too. Gives them something to focus on and motivation to stay healthy. And who knows what kind of planning they have for the dog in case something happens?
The fact the both you wanted him to keep a cancer infested leg, like what? You wanted the dog to slowly die in intense pain because you two think it’s wrong to amputate? Please NEVER get pets, you two don’t deserve them.
thats how they sleep.. its literally their most used position.. anyone who knows animals knows that some animals have a preference to be curled up on their backs, hedgehogs is one of those

Maxie's sad moans when she was waking up 😢 poor bubbah.
I always say about the German Shepherd I don't care if it's got one missing leg but if it's still alive
That is one lucky pooch! To think that happened before her cancer had a chance to spread. Goodbye leg, but goodbye cancer with it.
Oh Sebastian Hedgehog was so cute! 🥰🥰
also great to see how caring the young owner was.
So cute! 🦔😍

It sounds like the German Shepard had soft bones.

Dr. Rob, you are the best ever! Your compassion and empathy for the owners and their beloved pet are amazing ❤❤
Couldn't agree more! Dr Rob is one of the best vet on this show, his empathy, love and understanding knows no bounds.
Thrilled precious little Sebastián is doing well, great surgery Dr. Mike❤❤
@12:32 it is so brilliant to hear someone so excited about their job and snake poo!!!

Absolutely wonderful to see these people who care
Gorgeous Shepherd, love the color

Considering how it was cancer, removing that leg saved the dogs life. So that’s a huge win right there.
truly heartbreaking!! you guys are life savers, thank you for your servide

Thank you guys so much for protecting the people and animals!❤️

That is one huge scare having those huge snakes on your property the Hedgehog is simply so adorable one loveable pet

Why did he have to touch the poop though??? And then 2 seconds later he touches his face... I'm ill.
welcome to working with animals

He's probably thinking it's already been processed through this critters' internal organs and is less infectious than an oozing eye or some sort....
For goodness sake Rob, get someone help you pick her up
Don’t forget that it’s edited. He could have screamed like a girl and run straight to the bathroom to wash his hands between clips.
I think Billy fancies himself as the next Steve Irwin. 😂
Yeah, no comparison. We could do without Billy’s drama & bad acting.

🙏 you OK 😢

Why in the world did Sebastian’s owner leave it so long? It rarely pays to just hope it will go away. Things like that never do.

Well, I think Tim is a natural, Billy is trying too hard!
12:17 didn’t Scrub pythons get rescued before when Tim Faulkner got a call?
0:18 so scary 0:24 what
And not in the field

I would have liked this video better if it showed just the in vet cases
Are pythons native to Australia?

To bad that joint couldn't have been replaced
At least this way the cancer is all gone, that broken leg probably saved her life
*too
So you wanted them to keep the cancer infested leg so the dog would die in pain? Oh wow…
@@NaeniaNightingale
The cancer disorder wasn't confirmed at that time. Happy Father's to all that applies in your home
The shed is full of garbage
j'ai triste coupe bras chien . je ss contre 😑😭😣
Votre francais est lamentable; vous feriez mieux de vous abstenir!!!!! Essayez l'anglais!!!!!!
Didi is a champ. "Deadly pythons" more like regular pythons. We have enough deadly animals in Australia no need to exadurate.
If it’s a snake that can take a human life then that IS a deadly python and that definitely could.
Re: th e German Shepherd
She is wounded and in pain. Don't make her walk on that leg! Pick her L UP! He'll
Come on Rob you can do it, please dont amputate
