I’d be like “okay, Mr. Funnel web, this key is for the front door, this is for the mail box, this is for the car- I assumed you’d want the car? Great, this button unlocks it, this locks it, this sets the alarm…”
Funnel webs are actually hellhounds. They bite people in order to collect them for eternal conscious torment in hellfire. If being bitten would not have that outcome, they won’t bite, and you can pick them up and toy with them to your heart’s content. However, the instant you sin or are cursed, they will become drawn to your home. One of those kids probably said a dirty word and the spiders came to collect. Very sad, because more will probably be back before they can get right.
This man: “This is a funnel web spider, the most deadliest spider on Earth.” Also this man: [Tips captured funnel web spider out onto family table with family sitting at table.]
They can't do anything from there. They will defend themselves, they won't attack everything around them. Spiders usually have very bad eyesight anyway
@Gavin Cooke Hard it measure "deadliness" since different species use venoms in different ways and different people react to different venoms differently. The potency of the venom is also considered as well as the quantity injected into the victim. How dangerous the animal is also based on how often they appear where a lot of humans inhabit, whether if there's a antivenom available, and if the animal is aggressive. Sydney funnel webs and their close relatives are found in populated areas around Sydney where a lot of people are likely to encounter them. The venom from a single bite can be fatal if left untreated since the venom makes people spaz uncontrollably. In most other spiders, females have the more potent venom and they usually don't venture outside their nest very often. However, the roaming males in sydney funnel webs have the much more dangerous bite in this case and it's the boys that are more likely to venture into human dwellings since they're out trying to find the females. Along with their bite first attitude make them even more dangerous. Black widows and redbacks usually have a "play dead" first defense where their curl up.
@Gavin Cooke aggressive wise yes. Venom wise no. Brazilian wandering spiders contain much more toxic venom but sometimes they do dry bites which they don’t even release venom but its a way to stop someone from getting too close. A Sydney Funnel web is 100% releasing its venom. So in terms of aggression of releasing venom the funnel web is more dangerous

I was having a shower then something fell onto me from our exposed skylight and at first i didn't really know what it was then lone behold i see a funnel web spider land inches always from my feet after dropping ontop of me. Sounds completely implausible. They are ground dwellers, they do not crawl on the roof. I highly doubt it was a funnel web… sounds more like a black house spider.
In Arizona we have bark scorpions and rattlesnakes. So we don't have any decorative landscaping stuff against the house in the front yard and none at all in the backyard. The lack of hiding places helps to keep our dogs safe and would be a big benefit to families with young kids.

the spider thing is a complete myth. spiders are mostly harmless even in completely spiderinfested areas. and even if the poisonous ones bite you they probably wont waste their venom on you. the big killers are the snakes. not the spiders.

People fear what they don't understand. But, if you managed to have people understand something, then fear becomes respect. So he's trying to teach the little girls what the spider is by showing it to them in person and educate them on what it can do rather than actively telling them oh this is the most dangerous spider in the world, we should burn it, kill it, then watch it die! That's why he continuously ask those girls questions like "You know why this guy is in your house?" and "Do you know why they're so dangerous?" That said, after all, it's not the Spider's fault. They're only acting on millions of years-worth of instincts. It's Humans fault, and their growing cities.
The guy hasn't a clue with kids !

They can't do anything from there. They will defend themselves, they won't attack everything around them. Spiders usually have very bad eyesight anyway
he let the female on the table. not nearly as dangerous as the male.

"I want these kids to not be afraid of spider"
"LOOK AT THOSE FANGS!"
"THERE IS VENOM DRIPPING FROM THEM!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
7:10 I like how the first girl shakes his hand all serious and eyebrows furrowed and the second just slaps it.
3:11 damn that casual throw plus flawless catch
Ikr!
Australia is the place where God said to Satan “Ok you can create whatever you want, but it HAS to stay on this continent
Edit: God sake people, it was a joke. Some of you can’t seem to understand it and feel they need to tell me either God isn’t real or I don’t know the Bible.
Honestly, I think South America is worse.
@@9hk38f Because Satan said: "hold on a second old man, I want two continents!".
Satan said to God in reply - "HEY DAD - Hold my Beer a minute!"
@@CambreyGoG Tbh was more like, "okay Satan now make a continent that is WORSE then Austraila." Saten "Challenge accepted" But then God was like "Wait that's too much okay split the continents into two"
@@sirrodrickgeorgemcberryjoh9509 - that moment when a joke dies.
My first thought... why do they leave that great bloody screen door open. It's like "spiders, please come in."
Because no spider ever was able to squash itself flat and squeeze through minuscule gaps .. it has to have a door open.......🙄😏🤭
non Aussies really are clueless!
@@triarb5790 u don't need emojis to express Ur feelings lmao if were so clueless than how come we know something u don't
How is it that he visits the house and the camera man is already inside 😳. I tell you these cameramen are gods
'I'm a bit worried that the kids might get bitten' -lets kids color on table in same room as spider-
😂
On the floor 👍🏻😂
Mom: The thing that scares me is that the kids might get bitten."
Yet still has kids on the floor walking around with no shoes and playing in the same area the huge spider was seen crawling!
Me: BRAH GET UR KIDS OFF THE FLOOR ASAP!! HEC LEAVE THE HOUSE AND STAY IN A HOTEL! IMPECT THE WHOLE HOUSE!!!
Had me freaking out the whole time! Lol
I would be so fast out the door
I was thinking this the whole time too 🤣
I’d probably burn the house to the ground after this.
LoL! They can bite through shoes, even yout fingernail. We get them every springtime in our house,me mum catches them and chucks them over the fence. She never got bit. In fact I don't know anyone whose ever been bitten and there are hundreds around springtime.
No matter what spider it is I usually get a container and put it outside, I don’t understand why people want spiders dead, there would be much more flys, mosquitoes and insects buzzing/crawling around
"They're very aggressive"
*pokes it with a spoon*
"Can't believe there is a spider in the house" - and the back door wide open 🤣🤣🤣
When you watch video like this, but have a HUGE aracnophobia !!!
Sameeeee! But at the same time I need to know these things so I can stay away
I have insane arachnophobia
same, though i find them fascinating yet extremely creepy. but love little itty bitty jumping spiders
Me with really bad arachnophobia:
Oooh, let's see.
After:
Siblings: What are you doing?
Me: playing floor is lava

Nuke the site from orbit..... Its the only way to be sure
Same and I hate Australia it’s basically hell for me
@@broccoliagain6113 yup
I love how they just called someone and then left the kids to play in the living room like true Australiens. If I had found such a big spider in my house, I would taken my kids outside, burned down the house, and moved to another country.
You got me F’d up telling me I got funnel webs in my house
"he is not easy to catch is he?"
"nope"
precedes to catch him in the next 6 seconds
"Keep the girls away from here they could die"
"Girls, stay away from there you could die"
"We fou-"
The girls: "I WILL NOW GO DIRECTLY TO THE DEADLY THING"
I love how Australian this is 🤣 the wife didn't even put shoes on
I don't think I could handle living in Australia with these getting into my house.
That ridiculous. Spiders are not a problem here, at all.
I am 81 and have never seen a funnel web and we just live normal lives like any other country.
Mate, be more worried about being called Un-Australian than having a Funnel-Web or any type of spider/snake bite you. I mean unless you go looking for them, you're unlikely to see any. Redbacks may be in sheds and garages, but they leave you alone if you leave them alone, it's not like they have homing devices on their head and know where to find you.
6:03 "I'm not happy about this."
*smiles*
"She's on the move"....
Funnily enough so am I, straight back to blighty...😱🇬🇧👍
Best.comment.ever.
If they mated they could of have a whole funnel web spider infestion
potty mouth
Nuke it from space.
