Hi, MIke...Am wondering if you came across this vid whiling away the time in the coronoavirus hibernation? Didn't even dawn on me to start mining TH-cam for this fantastic entertainment. What a lineup! Now I know how I'll spend the rest of my time in "isolation"; I'll invite these dudes to my house -- already watched Big Mama Thornton and a few blues queens.
Slowhand stratocaster iknow is great, there are a lot of great guitarman that also so good more than he. U know them , i’m talking about Albert Collins, Buddy guy, SRV, johnny winter, Freddie King, otis rush, joe bonamassa , jimmie Vaughan, john lee hoocker,
And also don’t forget jimmy page, robert plant, albert King, dusty hill, billy gibbons, junto hendrix, the irish , there are so Manu much that i can’t remember all of them like jonny lang. U’like cream and yarbirds, i ‘ve listen that👍
Even though I have only lived 23 years as of this upcoming July 7th, I have listened and studied these guys for my whole life. My father has wonderful taste in music and I share the passion and love for it all. I have seen B.B. and Buddy Guy in concert, and I just can't tell you how much respect I have for all these guys and their music. You can't just watch a video of these guys and say one is better then the other. That's not how it is with these guys. They all are supreme guitar masters in their own and equal right. What if Jimi or Stevie were up on that stage doing a performance with them to this day? It wouldn't matter because no matter what they would do we would appreciate it. Keep the blues and rock alive my friends! Pass on what your parents have lived among!
Austin Jones I know I’m replying quite a bit later, but your words are eloquent and also your spelling/grammar perfect. A rare thing online. Great taste in music too.
I was moved to read your comment, even though you wrote it four years ago. Undoubtedly you are right and above all because we share the taste and love for the blues.
For Eric and Jeff Beck , Playing with these Blues Legends is a Dream Come True Since they were Kids , BB and Albert and Co. is What Inspired them to the Blues in their Beginings , Both Deserve to be on Stage with Them , Seen Clapton in the 70's and Jeff Beck in 2000 , Both Awesome Players and Concerts , Yes , Many Long Time Blues Greats on Stage RIP BB KING , ALBERT COLLINS

I had the pleasure and luck to meet B.B. King when he had a gig at the Sacramento Blues festival years ago. He was coming off his bus to get ready for his set and just by luck i and some other folk just happened to be there. I cannot convey the warmth that this man exuded to us. He was the most approcable man i could possibly imagine who happened to be a the king of the blues. He was polite and appreciated us all for showing up for his show and we afforded him that same respect that he had to go to work. Miss this man.
I loved B.B. King. I think the best instrument in the world is the Blues electric guitar. It can talk, it can sing, it can cry and make you cry. I am happy to have the Blues.
George Rivera i have to partly agree with you about the blues guitar. however, there's another guitar you're probably forgetting and that is the pedal steel guitar!!! with the pedalsand knee levers you can make a steel sit up and deal cards if you know how. also, i am a steel player so im kind of biased!

I saw Albert Collins back in the 80’s at Poor David’s Pub in Dallas. He walked out of the club in the middle of a song while still playing and stopped traffic on Greenville Ave. He then sat on a Harley that was parked out front and kept on jammin.
@Ulysses432 It goes back to Guitar Slim who was a hero of Buddy's. In reality it has always been a part of the blues from Charlie Patton to T Bone to guys like Guitar Shorty who would do running summersaults on the dance floor while wailing a solo on his strat. Collins never laid claim to that trick he acknowledged Guitar Slim in interviews!!!
