I think i love Ben's subtly sassy comments the most with this series. Especially that last one about the channel ability. Just sent Blake with that one 😂
That was a fun game! Some missed triggers but when haven't we all missed triggers at some point? On new cards especially. Appreciate you 4 and thanks for the entertainment as always! Lots of love from Australia
Honestly, it is just so much fun to watch this channel. You can really tell that you guys enjoy playing with each other. I do not always have time to meet up with my friends to play, so it is nice to watch this channel and feel apart of the game, laughing at the fun interactions with cards and players.
Blake woke up and decided that the most entertaining content would be for the table to end in draw before even playing out his commander 😂 this was one of the funniest episodes yet
The elk call and then Shea: "Is there an elk in here?" Absolutely sent me. Well done y'all, tho CGB could have had it if he didn't tap that Orb, cuz since Ashaya made all of Ben's creatures lands, they wouldn't have untapped.
Ben would've probably killed CGB even more, as Jodah doesn't only trigger once per turn; Ashaya, Oko and Rhonas would've all cascaded as well, bringing out more legendary spells.
Jodah is an absolute unit! Well done Ben I can't wait to build this deck and I am thrilled I have a new home for my Maelstrom Wanderer. This was a fantastic watch. Thanks cgcrew
Best commandershow there is. Funny enough a very engertaining episode...these three vs ones mix it up and then in the end it switched directions again plus again the arch enemy to the pacifist. Awwwesome stufff
My favorite part seeing the unexpected Ben kiss Blake fist then proceed to eventually telling Shea she must die and be sacrifice but cool deck Shea wish I got to see more of it and Blake I respect your choice standing your grounds keeping your words for peace but I agree with CGB I rather see one clear winner and like Ben said sacrifice must be made and CGB commander is definitely dangerous I seen that do crazy stuff but I enjoyed every second and I stayed till the end even through commercial and I can't wait to see what you all do next and please never forget everyone you're cool 😎🤟🏾❤️
The closed captioning is always fun for Magic games, Sheaven Reef, Arcane Ciggy, chew lane tell her of tales. I’m gonna tap the chromatic ori, to play dota. 22:45. Spell Skype
I can't believe that CGB missed that trigger, for lack of a trigger went the game. The only thing that runs through my head when mistakes are made is "read your playmat little man!" lol, good game either way.
Wow, so Blake had a flash blocker AND a counterspell to ensure the tie (thus refusing any deal)? Pretty insane that CGB had the perfect answer for it in a channel ability that couldn't be countered!
SPOILERS BELOW ❤️ The Worst Possible Commander Show! Ben still had enough creatures untapped to K.O. CGB on the last turn, had CGB not tapped the Winter Orb. Glad to see Shae take 80+ damage first. It was sweet, sweet payback for the Vampire deck she K.O.’d Ben with after he proliferated all her +1/+1 counters (long ago lol) Finally, I’m glad to see Peace is not allowed in EDH (though we want it in real life for sure!) PS. My pet Bull elk, we named her Chicago, really *enjoyed* your Bull elk call CGB #VaVaVaVoom
There is a whole world of difference between the Citadel being destroyed and Shae not killing a thing on her way out. Namely, this time, Shae died in Shae's style.
Yup, CGB is right. I wanted to brew a tame, casual and most of all, original Urza deck when he got out. I quit trying two days later and never looked his way again.
Blake shouldn't have been able to flash in his creature during combat and CGB could have held the channel to use against Ben. Not sure how much that would have saved him but ijs
That Urza deck makes me hope you guys will do a few cEDH games. The decks there are great showcases of what fair, balanced commander games without rule 0 conversations are.
To Shay: How does it feel? Response: It's an experience.... That I look forward to delivering to ALL OF YOU next week... What does an evil cat laugh sound like?
blakes deck kinda reminds me of my deck i affectionatly refer to as second place(kardur doomscourge) lol it makes everyone else fight till you and one other player are left and it can win but yeah lol
Blake missed 2 cascade triggers for Jodah. It says when you CASTS a legendary permanent exile the top cards of your library until you find a legendary permanent with lesser mana value. So with the Ashaya and Rhonas cast he would of cascade into other legendary creatures. There is no limitation to the trigger!! Regardless Jodah for the Win!!
@cgb - in the future, will you please use k'rrik son of yawgmoth as your commander. Completely different style of play and would love to see you pilot the deck. Cheers mate
yo what's up, everybody! I'm blake, imma hit you in the face with a perigrine drake that I gave some haste, it untaps five lands so with orvar on the field imma cast some blue mage shenans you're welcome. (the last line is supposed to spill over into the next part of the track, a common stylistic element to make the rhythm more varied. otherwise you'll just end up with rap that sounds like school children's alphabet songs (still better than gucci mane). admittedly, the rhymes are monosyllabic, but I smacked a couple of slant rhymes in there. I really hope Blake wins now because how is this not winning the coolstuffinc gift card? Also I hope they ship to Europe lol)
It's a good thing that Tolarian Academy and Paradox Engine are both banned in EDH, because if they weren't, the Urza Deck could be even more busted.....
Since Ashaya was there all the creatures were lands, so Winter orb could have saved the situation there!
Yes, it was a huge oversight of cgb. And ashaya would have ruined ben.
Was thinking the same thing
Glad someone else saw it, and comically enough, he had the blue mana to channel even without tapping winter orb for mana as well.
I was yelling the same thing until I realized the winter orb was tapped!!!
Mistakes happen guys he saw it after the fact and didn't do a take backsy
I think i love Ben's subtly sassy comments the most with this series. Especially that last one about the channel ability. Just sent Blake with that one 😂
45:30 This is why I watch the show. And then the quiet "is there an elk in here?" from Shea . Incredible
That was a fun game! Some missed triggers but when haven't we all missed triggers at some point? On new cards especially. Appreciate you 4 and thanks for the entertainment as always! Lots of love from Australia
That "Kiss and make it better!" Brofist moment was one of my all-time favorites. This show never ceases to entertain me, very fun, guys, keep at it.
“Kiss the fist!”
-Blake
My new favorite sentence.
Honestly, it is just so much fun to watch this channel. You can really tell that you guys enjoy playing with each other. I do not always have time to meet up with my friends to play, so it is nice to watch this channel and feel apart of the game, laughing at the fun interactions with cards and players.
These videos are seriously underrated and high quality
Ben: 62 damage coming your way..
Shea: That’s it? 🤣
Such a fun group!
I hope Blake makes an Ultron themed deck next time to destroy the others, another form of peace. "Peace in our time."
A lot of fog effects would help
What a great episode 😂 the elk call had me dying. Good job Ben for taking the W.
So good, laughed harder this episode than any other! 😂 Love the dynamic this group has
Blake woke up and decided that the most entertaining content would be for the table to end in draw before even playing out his commander 😂 this was one of the funniest episodes yet
As I finished this video I stood and stretched and noticed a herd of hormonal elk cows standing in all of my windows sweating profusely. Thanks CGB!
Blake: "Peace in our time."
The Table: "Your time is up!" (In a loud snarling Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)
The elk call and then Shea: "Is there an elk in here?" Absolutely sent me. Well done y'all, tho CGB could have had it if he didn't tap that Orb, cuz since Ashaya made all of Ben's creatures lands, they wouldn't have untapped.
Super hilarious gameplay, so many kill on site commanders made it pretty enjoyable watch. The banter is absolute gold
Ben would've probably killed CGB even more, as Jodah doesn't only trigger once per turn; Ashaya, Oko and Rhonas would've all cascaded as well, bringing out more legendary spells.
fucking love blake lol, drawing might not win, but if everyone else feels bad about it, then THATS the win
Those opening credit photos are great!
Jodah is an absolute unit! Well done Ben I can't wait to build this deck and I am thrilled I have a new home for my Maelstrom Wanderer. This was a fantastic watch. Thanks cgcrew
The intro here is amazing.
I really hope we get back to ones like it
Jodah and Ivy look like a lot of fun. I feel like a monster, but it would have been pretty funny to have Divine Intervention end the game. Hahahaha!
Blake! Thank you, your my hero this episode! ❤️
You’re my hero ❤️
41:25 misplay here, CGB couldn't activate the cards in combat due to Ben's card?
Just ordered my first Ashaya to put in my Raggadragga, glad to see it came in clutch here for ya Ben!
Love your content! It's really great, that you take your time with the game and explain all the (sometimes weird) rules of MtG! Keep it up!
It's so nice when a community comes together to absolutely crush the jerk playing divine intervention
Best commandershow there is. Funny enough a very engertaining episode...these three vs ones mix it up and then in the end it switched directions again plus again the arch enemy to the pacifist. Awwwesome stufff
That was pretty fun to watch, thanks CovertGoCrew!
Wow. The way that Urza was introduced, I expected The Tabernackle at Pendrell Vale to be in that deck xD
Resident Urza player here. Love seeing it on the show!
To the tune of Hamilton: "The World's Gonna Know Your Shame, What's Your Shame Man?"
"Tapped my Winter Ord. I tapped my winter orb"
Death before drawing the game! Awesome video as always, guys!
Look up elk sounds on youtube and you will find out how wrong that "elk call" was lol. Some of them are terrifying.
OMG best episode of this show so far! Loved it!!
For the next intro may I suggest
Hey everyone! It’s your champ Ben, back at it again, and most probably going to win…maybe.
Love this group. All here for it.
There was a jodah trigger also for ashaya!! The board of my fellow jodah player should have been BIGGER!
Blake likes drawing cards so much he's trying to draw the card game.
Blake's intro fixed:
"Yo! it's me, B-L-A-K-E!"
Shea’s playmat sums up how that last turn went
That was a great game. Love seeing everyone win but I’m glad Ben brought the heat to pull the W this match.
The into here is amazing.
Hope we get back to ones like it
Thank god Ben is here to explain, win the game
Thank you CGB for no draw. Ben an amazing attack turn over 300 damage. Massive !

Please tell me the team will be playing with the 40K decks coming, I can't wait to try them with my friends!
Ben brought all the spice today and had a great time obviously. Moment of the game has to be 'let's do some math guys!'
Me after Blake explains his deck:
"Wait! Who will choose the best comment if no one wins?"
I thought this was going to mean one of the players died before they had a draw step!
Wow, so Blake had a flash blocker AND a counterspell to ensure the tie (thus refusing any deal)? Pretty insane that CGB had the perfect answer for it in a channel ability that couldn't be countered!

Love the Elk noises haha

What a great episode
Yup, CGB is right. I wanted to brew a tame, casual and most of all, original Urza deck when he got out. I quit trying two days later and never looked his way again.
THANKS CRAIG!
Cgb as a a fellow yooper I approve 👌 of your elk call good job bud🤣
Blake shouldn't have been able to flash in his creature during combat and CGB could have held the channel to use against Ben. Not sure how much that would have saved him but ijs
Only untapping one land with Ashaya would have been another consequence
Ashaya makes all creatures into lands so not tapping his winter orb would have prevent him from untapping his creatures
@@DaveGman15 That's what I'm talking about
Channeling is not a spell, Blake should have cast his blocker in response to moving to combat, which gets to the same board state.
That Urza deck makes me hope you guys will do a few cEDH games. The decks there are great showcases of what fair, balanced commander games without rule 0 conversations are.
Came here just to give you a like 👍 Go crew 👍👍👍
Ben: Legendary Creatures go BRRRR😂
Shea continuing her streak of best shirts on the show. GG no draw
ALWAYS A GOOD DAY! WHEN BEN WINS!
To Shay: How does it feel?
Response: It's an experience.... That I look forward to delivering to ALL OF YOU next week... What does an evil cat laugh sound like?
Wow punt of the century from CGB, all he had to do was not tap the winter orb and literally ONE of Ben's board untaps due to Ashaya.
blakes deck kinda reminds me of my deck i affectionatly refer to as second place(kardur doomscourge) lol it makes everyone else fight till you and one other player are left and it can win but yeah lol

Regardless Jodah for the Win!!
The Oko too would've triggered it too, in fact, since it's any legendary spell, not just legendary creatures.
@@Ellie-Angela yes you are correct . Anything Legendary
I actually really loved Blake's deck.
I forgot that one of the patron deck choosers was named James so after the divine intervention I was like wait wtf how does blake know I’m watching 😅
Cpt. Ben Obvious, not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed
CGB’s elk sounded like he was making an “O” face…
Nice I like it Ben beating CovertgoCEDH
Jodah really unified the players against the true enemy. Flavor win for you Ben!
As a german Person, i love myself some draws
Is that streets of rage music at the beginning of the match?
@cgb - in the future, will you please use k'rrik son of yawgmoth as your commander. Completely different style of play and would love to see you pilot the deck. Cheers mate
Till this day, a friend who plays Jodah kept asking why the whole pod targeting him.
And I show him Ben's picture.
yo what's up, everybody! I'm blake,
imma hit you in the face with a perigrine drake
that I gave some haste, it untaps five lands
so with orvar on the field imma cast some blue mage shenans
you're welcome.
Ben plowed through the field!
8:38 I'm dead 🤣
Blake: "I want a peaceful game"
Everyone else: DRAW IS FOR LOSERS! I HATE DRAW YOU WEIRDO!
such peace xD
The worst possible thing CGB could do with that deck is just play his commander
I don't know why but CGB reminds me of a cartoon evil villain 😂😂😂
For everyone just tuning in…45:34
No Fake Blake!
Cascade is also a cast.... Ben would have had legendary cascades from the maelstrom cascades too
What app do you use as life counter?
Better to die on our feet than live on our knees
Didn't ben miss a jodah trigger with the ashaya cast?
Hi I'm Craig, no relation. My first deck was Urza LHA and for that I want to apologize.
Blake, add Paradox Haze to the deck, two upkeeps a turn.
It's a good thing that Tolarian Academy and Paradox Engine are both banned in EDH, because if they weren't, the Urza Deck could be even more busted.....
Let's go Ben!
Why was there this weird hatred for a draw?
I think it would be hilarious.
Peace was never an option!
