    Hi MM, Like your new toy. I bought a pressure transducer (eBay special) which I use for compression and fuel pressure testing, fairly accurate for the money but no comparison to the WPS. Have been looking for a preloved one for some time. I am keen to see what and how you use this tool in future diagnosis. I enjoy your videos…cheers

      Well done ltkaffey,
      I've also made up a cheap pressure transducer previously.
      I intend making a new playlist of DIY test equipment, the first being a smoke machine. Just because something isn't expensive, doesn't mean that it can't do the job efficiently.

    Love your informative videos.
    I have a Triton ML with the 4M41 motor, which has done 113.500 klms
    It is hard to start and blows white smoke on cold mornings.
    Went into limp mode and scan shows P0089 , changed SCV , filter , fuel in tank but still showing code .
    FRP is 9,500 psi at idle and around 15,000 at cruising speed but occasionally runs rough at idle and builds rail pressure up to 25,000 psi and blows white smoke but clears when you restart the vehicle.
    I was told the SCV needs a relearn .
    Any help would be appreciated!

      Have you checked for any air to the high pressure pump? Have you done a small injection quantity relearn? th-cam.com/video/Z6_ru3XxO20/w-d-xo.html
      What are your desired compared to your actual fuel pressures?
      You should do a fuel pump supply relearn.
      Pressures should be roughly 33000 kpa at idle, 56000 kpa at 2000 RPM....roughly.
      You also may need to check the fuel pressure regulator.

    Seen your other video on small quantity relearn and I’m thinking if my L200 is also having the same issue as I get a delayed start in the morning with a little rough idling when the engine is cold.

      It might be worth testing your glow plugs first.

    Hi i’ve got a L200 B40 on a 06 running rough once I start and warm it up rev it up it’s missing drive it down the road he’s off the accelerator go to set off again, like a flat spot could that be the injectors or fuel pump thanks

      What fault codes are available? Do you have any 'live data' from that scan tool that might be of use to help diagnose? How many kilometres? Has it been serviced regularly?

      @@MiracleMAX been trying to get it into a garage to get it on the diagnostic no lights on dashboard, had it serviced few hundred miles ago it’s 150000 when I bought it is done 161,000 now Thanks for your reply like watching your videos.

    scoping the crank sensor and graphing rpm should show which cylinder is missing.

      Hey Nathan,
      That's a fair comment and that would be true if it had a constant miss, however this was only rough running on start up when it was cold for a very short period of time.

      What scan tool are you using? Have you made sure the conditions are the same as shown in this video?
