Ultra light weight. Ultra refined, ultra capable.
There were 3 New Bassmaster Classic baitcaster releases that really caught my attention. I love ultra - light weight power winches and put the Steez Sv TW at the top of my list in terms of an all around bass caster. This little nugget of Japanezium Magnesium and Awesomeness looks to excel at delivering even lighter payloads than my favorite 100 sized predecessor while offering even more control when tossing standard sized offerings. One thing to take note of......Consider the capacity when purchasing this reel. If you plan on loading it with 20lb fluro or heavy braid. Don't expect to be bombing magnum cranks with it. As part of it's control comes with its shallow and narrow Sub 9.5 gram spool.

I thought that video was great. I think daiwa is on their game. I also thought that spokesman did a fine job with his products.
I think the ct sv will be awesome, especially with small cranckbaits and small plastics, with thin braid distance and control will be great

Glad the hear the guy say people who think just because they can spin their spool longer they think it cast further and it is just not the case. I've debated with other young anglers that think that matters for years.

Great vid Nick! But the 9.35 grams of the new Steez spool is not that 'special' right? Daiwa pitches it as covering 'finesse' too but the spool from the 16 Aldy BFS is 7.2 (ish) grams including the bearings.
If only I could get into bait casters, I want to pull the trigger but damn....... my Exist LT is simply perfect

Pulled the trigger and got my Steez CT SV paired with a 2020 St. Croix Legend Xtreme........i give it a 8/10 only because i love spinning rods more. Im sure i will like it more when i use it more. its super light and so sensitive but i just can't get it to cast a mile like i do spinning reels. Bird nest are a pain in the ass to undo.
