Painting Diecast Cars - Mike Tyson's Mystery Mobile - Custom Van. Today I built a 1:64 Scale Mystery Mobile from the mature cartoon Mike Tysons Mysteries. This Diecast Chev Van came from Mr. Tilson from the comments. He was nice enough to donate some cars for content. Thank you very much for all of your contributions! The Van turned out pretty good I think, have a look!

Redlines are cool but I think you've restored at least 1 of most of those castings now, I kinda like the creativity you show when you do your own thing especially the larger scale car stuff.
You should do more TV show and movie cars. This one turned out pretty awesome and you seemed to have a lot of fun making it.

Idk about anyone else, but I'd love to see more of the painting process. I'm teaching myself to airbrush, I'd like to see more. Like thining paint, how many different guns you use when doing multiple colors. Heck I'd even like to see your cleanup process.

That van would of been cool with the (Ford 1977) silver with the purple, orange and yellow stripe style (which was also done on the 77 pinto two door wagon).

I have this same casting! I've always wondered what brand it is. I use it as a practice piece for paint because a headlight is broken off on the plastic grill and I cannot restore it with my meager skills. I am currently working on making a Scooby Mystery Machine with one of my old Super Vans.

I always put small portions of liquid stuff in small Testors bottles in case of a spill, I spilled my Kicker and lost half a bottle. I got a sheet of vinyl at a sign shop cheap for cutting my own strips for masking. Great paint job tho. Where did the car wash babes go?

i ALWAYS have to clear my Molotow chrome for handling. Alclad Klear Kote. baking it really let's you handle it without it dulling and without needing any clear?! how long...what kinda temps?? thanks.
