Well it's purple sparkly and holographic...I'm sold👍 I love how the back looks after smoothing it out! "wanted a simple and easy video" you say 😂😂😂 I don't know how you do it man... Mad skills🍻
From editing and picture quality to the voice-work and resto itself, it really doesn't get any better than Diecast Resurrection. Hands down the best restoration channel, of any kind, on TH-cam.
Love anything with VW's! I have a few of those split window Beetles and was wondering about that engine lid and how it stands off. I wonder if the hole can be trimmed and the engine lid filed to make it fit flush. Nice job, by the way! Love it!
Austin, that looks damn tasty. Imagine some 'weekend warrior' seeing that in front of him at the lights, and thinks: "It's only a beetle." The lights change, and the 'weekend warrior' is left in a cloud of exhaust and rubber smoke, a sadder, wiser man...🤔😆😆😆
AWWW yeah I'm digging this ride love the color choice that's how I've wanted to paint my big Dodge van or my little mini van would look cool that color
I so needed this video with world events as such. You're doing the lords work son, other than losing jimmy in a terrifying (i'm assuming for him) accident.
This came out beautiful. Don't get me wrong I love it the way it is but it would have been cool to incorporate those teardrop fenders on the front end. Have them sweep back towards the body of the car a little bit. Looks like it probably would have been pretty tough to do though. Love the car.
What's louder than a Volkswagen? A Volkswagen with a huge, front-mounted hot rod engine. This is the "Blubswagen". Danny's Diecast did a Beetle-Rod, but his was turned into a Rat Rod. Yours looks more suited for the car show than the drag strip, since that paint job came out so damn cool.
I have a jeweler's saw that I cut with. It's basically a coping saw with a super fine blade. Makes a fine cut. Might considerate. Available at Micheals or Hobby Lobby.
Have you ever tried using chrome nail polish powder to simulate chrome on these cars. From what I've seen you paint it, get a gloss coat and then use a sponge to rub the powder on and it makes a mirror chrome finish. Seems to work best on gloss black.
Love the bug custom DR! For a premium model, that interior is disappointing. Hot Wheels is usually better about that. Your work on the exterior easily distracts from that though. Nice work, man. Thank you.😎🤘🏼😎
Helllooo! This was supposed to go up yesterday but it was getting to late, didn't want to wake all you little blubs up. Have a good week!
Diecast Resurrection love your videos!! Would love to do a challenge with you sometime!!
Stay thirsty my friend🍻
I'm 'BUGGED OUT' by this video! AWESOME JOB, dude!!
Hey! would you ever work on a miata hotwheels?
Nice job
Hey man, hope you're doing okay theough all this. It's scary times and just so you know, we'll be here waiting when you come back.
So glad you’re back in action dude missed these videos so much 🙌🏼
Dude, your paint is by far the best on TH-cam. None of the other diecast-ers come close. Love thos build man.
Awesome purple color choice !!!!!!!!!!!!! Two thumbs way up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The body work turned out really good. The car looks killer.
Another nice one. I was hoping to see how you melded the bases together, you know, plastic + metal. Maybe next time. Good to have you back.
That's a sick VW! Love that color, with all t he crazyness in the world right now, It feels good to sit back and enjoy a good video

Thats One Bad Ass Bug The Paint Job Is Awesome Good Job.
Oooooooohhhh! Glitter, we loves us some glitter on our California rear ends!
Great build DR.
Rip Jimmy
Ashes to Ashes "Dust" to "Dust"
Could you do a custom car that is made up of random body pieces. That would look awesome and be a way to clean up the garage.
Your paintwork is superb, love the attention to detail on this build.
Am I the only one that finds these videos extremely relaxing to watch?
That turned out awesome. Miss Jimmy hope he comes back!
Great looking custom! Everything looks better with sparkles.

Very nice, Ford and Volkswagon had a baby.
Hey Man, how’s everything? MIA with Jimmy? Seriously concerned. Do you have any other social media? Hope you are well. Alan from Maine
A beetle done like that with a little pickup bed on the back would be a cool custom project
Very very nice !!! Thought maybe on firewall, you might have tried to groove it like it was bead rolled. Looks awesome 👍 👍
Awesome. I would actually like this for a real car. Keep up the great work
Love it! The color shift sparkle effect seemed more subdued than I expected. Very nice.
Really like that shade of purple.
Great restoration there!!
Now that! Is cool!! Super nice paint job as always. 👍
great fab idea!!...im surprised noone ever made a full size version,...awesome color, too!!
Lovely car. The hot rod beetle. Looks awesome but one issue....there are NO headlights on either side of the front grill.
Your glitter paints ROCK !!

Awesome work Austin 🔥🔥🔥 Hope you are keeping well over in Canada 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
You just can't stop a beetle customization from being so Kewl. 👍
Great job as always, I am sure Dan will be happy with his new car.
That turned out awesome. Great job on all the mods and paint.👍👍😊

Very cool build 👍🏻🔥🤘🏻
Beautiful job!! Taking off my touque and bowing my head for Jimmy
you and your comic book noises.
I think you should put the front if the beetle onto the front of the 32 hot rod Austin , do a double swap 😀👍
Yo! thats definitely unique! I dig the sparkly paint
Loved this one! Freakin sweet
WOW, that thing is rad! Nice job, again!!!!!!!
Nice build, details and paint job 👌
Show us all the diecast creations you ever made
Looks super rad man! Dig the purple. Cant wait to see the next one!!
That’s a real beauty!
That does look sweet good color.
Very nice job! That paint is sah-weet!
This project came out great.
Great paint job!
Great video and work ... love the car next time can we see u build a GASSER BUG! I love gassers and i just pictured it as a gasser looks sick.
Awesome color as always, Austin.
Strange to see a Bug Hot Rod 'cause the motor is in the front.
That turned out great!
Once again, came through with an awesome custom build part bug part street rod 😎 only preacher Dan can save Jimmy
Awww maaaannn... I know how I want to do my nails forever now! xD
I was hoping you'd leave the front V-body line on the front clip behind the motor but as usual very nice thanks for sharing.
I so needed this video with world events as such. You're doing the lords work son, other than losing jimmy in a terrifying (i'm assuming for him) accident.
Awesome job and I've seen VW Beetles like that 👍👍👍👍
That's very cool!
Dosen't even look like a bug too much now, looks like a custom fat fendered 40. Super nice job on this buddy!!! 👍👍
This came out beautiful. Don't get me wrong I love it the way it is but it would have been cool to incorporate those teardrop fenders on the front end. Have them sweep back towards the body of the car a little bit. Looks like it probably would have been pretty tough to do though. Love the car.
Great Modification! Cool! Lovin It!
Awesome! It looks awesome

Just great!
I hope you and your family are doing OK. It's been 3 weeks since you last posted, take care and be well!👍
i think you and keith are the best
Beautiful lil' custom...Prowler style fenders would have made it perfect.
Nice project😎👍

Excellent!

Such bad ass. 10/10 My opinion is the intake hole should be black
Nice Job

Sick lookin' Bug - that colour is perfection!
Cool looking little hot rod. I think it's exactly what hotwheels should be selling....if ya know what I mean ?
🍻
Wicked cool bug! Definitely 3 blubs up 🍻
Awesome Volksrod
