I don't know how I thought you did the paint but I didn't expect you to hand cut and stick all them tiny pieces of tape.... That's dedication.. That interior detailing is sick too. I love this car.. your best work yet:)
Brother I don't even know where to begin!?!?!? This is a work of art and the sheer fact that you literally built that from scratch speaks volumes for your skill and raw talent! I restore classic fords as a hobby with my father so naturally I am a "ford guy" and I love mustangs so you hit it out of the park for me by making the choice of doing that mustang....😊. You should be very proud of this current build and I wish I had a tiny portion of your amazing talent! I tip my hat to you sir! Congratulations on another stellar and high quality build for all of us to admire and appreciate! I would do anything to be able to do it myself.....😧😧😧. My father's birthday is coming up and I know he would love this. Is there any possible way to commission you to build a duplicate of this? It would be an honor to give this to my father and to able to have one of your creations. Seeing this car also brings back many memories of my time serving in the army. Some of my friends and i were able to see the real car in person and let's just say you do it much justice! Thanks again for this video and best wishes!!
That one deserves it's own rotary table and spotlight full time. It's great seeing you expand your toolbox with new projects. Great job. Worst thing for any hobby is getting stuck in a boring rut. Keep growing with new stuff and you will always be more happy I think.
10 seconds in I knew this was going to be good! Settle back, get comfy and enjoy half an hour of my favourite diecast channel. Great work my friend. Your results are going through the roof.
I was thinking to myself "How's he gonna do that wild ass paint? One of those like dip things with the water and the stuff is on the top?" Then you blew my mind with a wonderful & more obvious/simple idea. Great! GREAT! Job! Friggin' love your stuff, love LOVE LOVE IT! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing
You would make a fortune in your own body shop man! Your work is not only awesome but artistic and tasteful. That paint scheme is perfect for that car. Look forward to seeing more. I also gleaned some good tips from the video. Thanks!
Love the outcome!!! My hat's off to you guys that do these restore and customs. I'm 56 and can barely see a full size car to restore without reading glasses!!!
Holy cow....that baby is off the hook. Crazy awesome....man I need a moment to compose myself....I would sit there and just look at that beast also. Wow. Wow. Wow. 👍👍👌👍👌👍👌 you have taken your skills to another level.
Mind blown. I have a 70 Dodge van (She-Hulk with green wall rubber tires) I got for the tires, but it has a giant sunroof on it and you just gave me a solution for this sunroof. I was gonna used muffler tape, but with that putty, I can get the drain lines in the roof. Austin, you are a true inspiration. I wanted to see how to fix Hot Wheels cars and started watching your vids in Dec; then tried my first car in March and I always use your info as a guide. I started Instagram with pics and am just starting to video the process. I just wanna say thanks for pushing the limits and inspiring me on a cool creative hobby.
Outstanding. I really appericate the amount detail put into this build. I don't think lot people realize how difficult it is to work on such small scale. 👍
O.M.G!!! You're amazing!!! I love your skills and want to learn!!! O.M.G. Collecting diecast car and make a movie with diecast car is my hobby. I want to have a customised car and make a movie. You're like my teacher. I will keep watching your videos to learn. Thank you!!
Oh Man! Such great detail in such a small scale. You have TRULY nailed this one mate. Not just the paint scheme but the extended guard work and all. It's perfect. Thanks.
Turkey! Know your doing a great job when thousands of people only hope to get to your level one day! I know I have recently purchased a badger airbrush, which I wish could've been higher quality but either way I have been sticking up on certain supplies and hope to get to doing so customs. Mainly though, I really want to master weathering, like "projects in progress" then go on to customs and restorations.
I just found this video cruising thru the tube. Ive watched many of your videos and have enjoyed everyone BUT this stang is SICK! Best one out of all of the others. Ive loved all f the others but this is on an entirely different level! Beautiful work brother!
Absolutely awesome! I subscribe to quite a few diecast channels. They are all great at restorations/customs. But I think you are the best at it hands down. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing your works of art with us!
@cji12171.. I agree man.. I watch other sites but Austin meets and exceeds criteria! My 1st sub was baremetal, but then I found Austin's channel.. He actually reads and responds to his subs! Great guy and BOSS artist!
That is amazing, BAD ASS!!! You are definitely the mad scientists of Diecast. Some one on the comments put you are getting better, that is an understatement, you have a natural talent already. 👍👍
Gotta admit i never been a fan of mustangs. But that paint job is just so cool that it brings that car to a whole new level. Such detail on so small of a level is incredible.
Holy 3 blubs up! You actually made me love a drift car. Wherever Jimmy is I'm sure he's proud of it. You not only stepped up, you knocked it out of the park. Personally I like your stripes better than the ones on the actual car.
Isn't Blub Jimmy's last name Hoonigan? LOL Naaaaah.. just kiddin' ... it's probably just Blubs. Jimmy Blubs. Yeah, that's it... lol anyway... *GREAT AWESOME JOB* Blubs is proud!!!
So....will 100 dollars buy this car and your "wow" station wagon car?? So talented. Gotta have em. Keep up the good work. Def my favorite hot wheels channel
So much to do today....(new DR video)....and I'll do stuff later. This is an incredible build - your skills are getting insane!! Just. Wow. Interior detailing too - and I just knew you were gonna have to get hand nekkid to do the putty....lol.
Only been watching for a year and was gonna suggest a Ken block and low and behold here it is...very impressive and hands down a perfect tribute 🤘 keep on keeping on
A couple of ideas. You could print some of the light colored decals multiple times. More ink should result in a brighter color. Alternately you could tape and paint white, or light colored sections on the car for the decals. Using a dark color to outline the decal would meant your paint spots could be somewhat rough. Like a small circle or square and let the dark decal define the edges of the light
This by far is your best work! Please keep up the brilliant content and try doing cars you haven't tried before like jdm or street tuner cars I'm sure your surprise people great work mate
This. Is. Amazing. This was the first VID I saw of yours because I was looking for people on TH-cam who customize hot wheels to make them look like hoonigan cars so umm well done it's amazing
Checked out both cars you’re the clear winner, both great jobs except yours is over the top. I think you and outlaw seem to be best competitions of now.
You might want to check into some plastic razor blades, they are used in car detail for removing stickers off paint, I don't know if the metal one you used scratches the zinc.
I don't know how I thought you did the paint but I didn't expect you to hand cut and stick all them tiny pieces of tape.... That's dedication.. That interior detailing is sick too. I love this car.. your best work yet:)
I was into this car for 16 hours yesterday alone.. Tons of work in this one!
Your talent is exploding, believe you can do anything... love it, my friend!
I could watch you for hours.
and I have ADHD, so I can't stay still or focus for shit.
Congrats.
Same, but once you get into something we usually just watch it.
Same man same
I don't have ADHD but I get board very easily and just leave without hesitation. In these vids like you said I could watch for hours😂
Same bro
Same
That 'Stang is beyond words. The decals are sublime. Absolutely exquisite inside and out.
Agree 110% Pedro
Awesome custom! You just keep blowing everyone's mind with every new video lately, sweetest ride so far and I'm sure they will keep getting better!
If you get a damp paper towel and add a little moisture to the JB weld, you can smooth it to a near perfect contour.
You're right, similar to gray modeling clay.
Brother I don't even know where to begin!?!?!? This is a work of art and the sheer fact that you literally built that from scratch speaks volumes for your skill and raw talent! Instantly clicked. Time to be enthralled for 26 minutes.
That one deserves it's own rotary table and spotlight full time. It's great seeing you expand your toolbox with new projects. Great job. Worst thing for any hobby is getting stuck in a boring rut. Keep growing with new stuff and you will always be more happy I think.
Both are cool cars and well done with lots of hard work and heart but I believe yours is the winner
10 seconds in I knew this was going to be good! Settle back, get comfy and enjoy half an hour of my favourite diecast channel. Great work my friend. Your results are going through the roof.
Still trying to find a volvo 240 to build!
Use a lego brick. Close enough...
I was thinking to myself "How's he gonna do that wild ass paint? One of those like dip things with the water and the stuff is on the top?" this paint stripper is so potent it could gagg a magot...😂😂😂😂😂
Lol 2
That gave me a laugh too
I think this might be your best work. Incredible paint and decal work. Hand molding the wide body! I want it.
Damn that turned out cool. Your sculpting with the polymer is seamless. It's awesome how you just go for it on these projects.
Best custom yet. The sculpting on the wheel arches was terrific. Winner.
I'm blown away..... bro you got all the skills! You win TH-cam!
Love the outcome!!! My hat's off to you guys that do these restore and customs. I'm 56 and can barely see a full size car to restore without reading glasses!!!
Awesome result mate and a great idea to replicate the hoonigan Mustang
that thing looks beautiful and it looks factory made gosh darn thats cool
Holy cow....that baby is off the hook. Crazy awesome....man I need a moment to compose myself....I would sit there and just look at that beast also. Wow. Wow. Wow. 👍👍👌👍👌👍👌 you have taken your skills to another level.
I don't impress easily but I do say that not only am I impressed but totally floored by this out of this world custom job. One of your best yet.
This is by far your best work yet! I enjoy your channel so much because of your adventures customs.
Thanks Jeffrey! I look at them as adventures too hehhe

The amount of detail in such a tiny model is incredible! Great job!!
That tape job is f'n fantastic! Brilliant job with the molding and paint!
In the top five of your best. AWESOME!
OMG, so excellent dude. And I feel you challenged yourself, stretched your skills and enjoyed yourself too. In your top 3 builds for sure, love it.
Wow!!! You mowed em over with this one. Definitely ain't no Poopies on this Pony. I love my Mustangs. Super work. Uh huh.
Outstanding. I really appericate the amount detail put into this build. I don't think lot people realize how difficult it is to work on such small scale. 👍
this amount of detail blows the hell out of my mind
I'm speechless how good this looks. From a bone stock Hot Wheels to this is totally off the charts!🏆 The trophy goes to Austin for best build ever!
Cannot believe the level of this build - just amazing talent!
Looks amazing!!! The only thing I would add, would be painting the wheels bronze. But hey, looks awesome as it is.
Good job man!
Yea.. looks awesome but should have painted the wheels at least the same color as intake
If you guys go back and look at the real car.. I just don't think those wheels look that great to be honest.
Good point plus if you look up hoonicorn v2 it had white wheels at one time.
I really like the look of the chrome wheels with that paint, great choice. I would not change a thing.
@@DiecastResurrection I agree. Loving the chrome wheels. Rock on!!!
Blub blub blub blub, I think jimmy is on the 3rd day of a seven day binge. Nice job on the car !!
O.M.G!!! You're amazing!!! I love your skills and want to learn!!! O.M.G. Collecting diecast car and make a movie with diecast car is my hobby. I want to have a customised car and make a movie. You're like my teacher. I will keep watching your videos to learn. Thank you!!
Awesome job, I agree I wish the decals would show more 👍
Oh Man! Such great detail in such a small scale. You have TRULY nailed this one mate. Not just the paint scheme but the extended guard work and all. It's perfect. Thanks.
Dude! You knocked it out of the ballpark! Amazing job!
This is possibly the most insanely badass car you have ever done!
Turkey! Know your doing a great job when thousands of people only hope to get to your level one day! So good! Both great customs but yours is a clear winner. It’s almost beyond comprehension how well you did this Mustang.
Absolutely awesome! I subscribe to quite a few diecast channels. They are all great at restorations/customs. But I think you are the best at it hands down. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing your works of art with us!

Great guy and BOSS artist!
Have you considered doing a set of cars from "Gone In 60 Seconds"?
The Elanore Mustang would be awesome.
Great idea on Elanore
No. That vile woman would come steal it.
Awesome work as always. If you use JB weld again, recommend not wearing globes and wetting the stuff with a bit of water to be easier to handle.
the masking left some nice bamboo shoot patterns. I think it came out nice.
The Mustang is a hit ! And you said it yourself .... you're enjoying what you do ... and it really shows ! 🍻
I think its safe to say you have won this round!
That is the sickest custom Hot Wheels I’ve ever seen!
Time and effort paid off, this has to be my favorite so far, detailed beyond 🔥👍
Hands down you killed it, that's what you call real custom work, love it. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming
Thanks Andrew, its my new favorite car :D
I love the ‘65 Mustang. Your finished project is awesome. That Jimmy is missing out! He had show up soon.
You never cease to amaze me ! Great job as usual ! You have quickly become "The diecast resurection/ customization channel"
Thanks Eric, I've been possibly considering changing the name of the channel.
That is a work of art! You just keep getting better and better. Enjoy your day off fishing and I hope Jimmy turns up safe and sound!
Outstanding work. I wouldn't change a thing looks fantastic. The arches came out brilliant, thats some skills right there
THAT is outstanding!!!! I am completely in awe of your work. Coupled with your humour it makes your videos spellbinding. Keep em coming!! 👍
Holy 3 blubs up! You actually made me love a drift car. Wherever Jimmy is I'm sure he's proud of it. You not only stepped up, you knocked it out of the park. Personally I like your stripes better than the ones on the actual car.

Revisiting this beaut in Aug. 2021. You'd kick this challenge's arse nowadays with the new vinyl cutter.
Spectacular! True to form the real car is bad assed and your Diecast remake reflects that badassery!
That is a amazing. You really brought the hoonicorn to life in this scale. Good job.
So....will 100 dollars buy this car and your "wow" station wagon car?? So talented. Gotta have em. Keep up the good work. Def my favorite hot wheels channel
I don´t know who make a better work. Both results are simply grrrreat !! congrats !
You are officially a customizer!!!
You blew him out of the water! Very nice work. Your best yet. I hope Jimmy is ok. 😁
I just watched the other build and (no offense to anyone), but this is no contest. IMHO you win hands down. WAY TO GO!!!
That is definitely a piece to be proud of. That is a badass car.
Wow... That's so far one of the best looking cars you have done, really great work!
Watched both videos, you are the clear winner as far as I'm concerned. Great job!
So much to do today....(new DR video)....and I'll do stuff later. This is an incredible build - your skills are getting insane!! Just. Wow. Interior detailing too - and I just knew you were gonna have to get hand nekkid to do the putty....lol.
I have this car in forza horizon 4 it’s perfect for drifting and you have the most amazing talent it’s amazing keep it up👍
This car is off the hook!!!
What a BEAST:)

You definitely got this competition in the bag.
PLEASE FIND JIMMY
Bloody ripper mate! ...an absolute gem of a build, you really raised the bar on this one👍
Total amazeballs, you have such patience and a superb eye for details. Thank you for sharing your videos.
Only been watching for a year and was gonna suggest a Ken block and low and behold here it is...very impressive and hands down a perfect tribute 🤘 keep on keeping on

Liking the different projects and materials, keeping the channel fun and interesting. This car came out pretty amazing, great work.
I’m trying to keep it interesting for myself as well as you guys! Heheh
This. Is. Amazing. This was the first VID I saw of yours because I was looking for people on TH-cam who customize hot wheels to make them look like hoonigan cars so umm well done it's amazing
RIP Jimmy, victim of the Great Solvent Spill of a couple days ago. Never Forget.
F
Too funny.

It came out great, looks just like the real car. Congratulations!!!
Nice work looks sweet I want one.
DUDE! WHAT THE FUDGE!!! Man I was smiling from beginning to I'm still smiling! Holy smokes! Bub... that is absolutely BOSS!
Jakarta dicast project uses a putty that great for wide bodykits
Wow! You really made that pop😳! Well done sir!👍👍👍😁

Fantastic JOB. Cheers!!! Another fine piece of art. Best I've seen.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
WOW the level of detail you are achieving is amazing! Great job man.
Yeah...! Good to see you're back. You and Graveyard are my 2 favorites.
That looks amazing!!
That car turned out Skookum as frig. Love to see a good Craftsman do his best.
Absolutely Hooniful,
The Jimmy Tribute build.
True artist right here!!!! Fantastic piece!
