Hello my friends, did you like my version of The Fall Guy K2500?. Turned out alright I think for an el-cheapo model. Hope your week is going well. Stay thirsty! 🍺🍺❤
I grew up in Alaska in the 1980's and the Chevy square body was the official truck of Fairbanks. Be it pickup, blazer, or suburban, everybody used one. Throughout my childhood we owned one 1/2 ton 4x4 truck, and three 4x4 blazers. Throughout my mid 20's and early 30's I owned two 4x4 blazers and one 3/4 ton 4x4 truck. And watching this video makes me want to buy another blazer!
Great job! That turned out fantastic. Fall Guy was one of my fav shows "way back when" and seeing Heather Thomas at a World of Wheels car show is a childhood memory I will never forget! My first square body was a 1976 GMC Royal SIerra "Spirit of 76" truck. Ive owned many since then and currently have the '79 Big 10 that is my profile pic.
Yeah the final result is spot on for the colour scheme of Colts truck. I wouldnt worry about it not looking exactly like his truck, being as they used several different models of truck while filming "The Fall Guy", the chevy K-2500 was the main one, but they also used other chevy trucks (mainly K-25s), as well as some Ford and Dodge ones on occasion. Apparently they went through 33 K-2500s throughout the programs entire run.
Dude!!!! Been waiting for this build since I started watching this channel. My pops had a 77, 25k with the copper and tan paint. As a kid watching the show and having that same style truck made for fun times and awesome memories. Thank you!
I have an 83 2wd that my youngest son gave me for my birthday 2 yrs ago. It has less than 50,000 original miles on it and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The squarebody has always been my favorite no matter if it's full size or diecast. Great job as usual bub!!🤠👍
LOVE IT @Diecast Resurrection I currently owe a 1986 C10 with a nicely build 383. This is my second Chevy and I’ve owed it since 2001. Before that I had a 1964 short bed step side. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼
Very nice looking Chevy P/U! I am also addicted to the "Blue Bowtie"! Currently my 4th Chevy, 2009 Silverado 2500HD. Bought it new, has 125k+ miles! As always, great job! Beautiful model truck!
This one turned out far better than I thought it would. Being around Christmas time, the paint choices had me salivating - Xmas pudding and custard. Yum 😁
You know I have collected die-cast for decades and the movie/TV cars were always cool to see. Getting them or finding them is another thing altogether. The Hot Wheels Smokey and the Bandit Trans-Am and Kenworth are close to or well over $100.00. Same with the Back to the Future Toyota Truck. Never once saw these in a store. Now I do have some ERTL brand TV cars still in the pack. The Burford T Justice cop car, and the Dukes of Hazzard 3pks movie and TV show. Looking back they now go for some pricey amounts but honestly the customs look better...IMO. I always wondered about the Fall Guy truck and some other cars. Thanks for the info on it and the "restoration" or custom. I've always loved the 4x4 Trucks, Jeeps, etc. One of my all time favorites is the Starsky and Hutch Torino, red white stripe. Funny thing is I loved GM cars not Ford but that one got me! Anyway these older castings are awesome to see, thanks again!
My husband and I really enjoy watching your videos. We try to watch at least a couple every night. We were wondering when you would ever do a face reveal? Or if you had and we missed it!?
Yes the video turned out great the thing that your truck turned out a lot better than the original and nothing wrong with the driving until I drive a 97 GMC suburban I love every minute of it
I’ve owned 3 square body chevys 2 67-72 c10s, 3 88-98 chevy trucks, 1 2006 gmc and 2 14-18 chevy trucks. The tan color reminded me of the color my 76 was. That truck looked sharp. The interior was redone in a very similar color to the one you chose for the body of this truck.
Man, I not only completely forgot about that tv show, but I also forgot I have this model sitting in a closet with my collection somewhere. It's been repainted (very poorly) a couple times from my childhood and looks unrecognizable compared to this original but wow did that bring back memories. Now I want to dig it out and see it! Lol
I'm 35, have owned 4 square body trucks including the 75 Scottsdale swb I have now. Plus every diecast version I've been able to buy, also 2 1/10 rc bodies
Amazing how that clear coat wakes up the details. Gotta live the square body chevys. Growing up we had one on a friend’s farm. Could not kill it. It ran and ran. Wish I could go back and get it now.
I’m 16 and bought my first square last year and when it’s on the road I plan to get another 😂 as you where asking about the obsession mines done a a complete restoration even got the 15 inch wagon wheels. That truck was amazing really good job I hope to see more square body’s on the channel in the future cheers man 👍🏻🍻
Very nicely done, ERTL had nice subject matter but the castings leave a bit to be desired. Always makes me smile knowing you're using the same pinstripes as me too!
I've never owned a square body but I'd give anything to. I love square bodies, especially ones from the 80's and have the same affection for OBS Silverados. My neighbor has a '96 OBS Silverado and every time I hear it fire up I'm right there at the window, watching him drive away. My '91 Dakota is cool but it will never be finer than frog hair like a square body.
Amazing as always. You gave this poor casting a new life. Sometimes I wish you would add a split screen comparison, so everyone could appriciate more the work that you put into a project like this. It might seems easy, but dam it ain't. Hats off mate.
Likin' the extra time spent on the trim, looks like an original, nice tire choice too. Paint turned out sweet...... really like the 98 California Silverado been driving restoring and upgrading for the last 7 years. Rare sight here in the Michigan rust belt. Appreciate the vids!
I’ve only ever owned one Chevy pick up. 1976 Chevy short bed 4x4, fleet side bed not step sides (step sides🤮). Two fords F-150 4WD (1977 Explorer ((with the 400)) and an 1983 F-150). Swore I’d never own another Ford. And my favorite (and the only car I’ve ever purchased brand new)…….My beloved 1994 Dodge Ram with the upgraded plow package. I drove that truck from 8 miles when I bought new off the lot to almost 200,000. As far as today’s project goes, the finished truck turned out really well. The trim was spot on and really added to the over all effect. Good choice in wheels. I would have liked to see you paint the seats, but it did not detract from the overall quality of the project.
Well I'm not the kind to kiss and tell but i'v been seen with Farrah . LOL!!! You may know that that was some of the words to the Fall Guy song by Lee Majors. Your dicast looks GREAT!!!!! Nice job my friend.
That truck looks the business Autin , that Brown (err bronze?) .... with the cream panel and black and chrome strip reallysets it off , good wheel choice too 👌 👍
Still have my 99 square body that I started my landscape business with. I believe that was the last year for the square body and the first year for the new body style. Love it and shall never part with it.
Hello my friends, did you like my version of The Fall Guy K2500?. Turned out alright I think for an el-cheapo model. Hope your week is going well. Stay thirsty! 🍺🍺❤
I was just getting ready to comment about how it's going to look like severs truck (fall guy)
Got the fall guy truck mint
When I saw the clearcoat make the metallic brown pop - I heard........🎶
I'm the unknown stuntman that made Eastwood look so fine!
Love the truck. I was just wondering why none of ur links work
Awesome job, Tailgate isn't correct, but fantastic looking regardless
I loved this show as a kid. That truck turned out awesome.
I love Fallguy!! Especially Heather Thomas!! 🤤
Brought back tons of memories because I never missed an episode of "The Fall Guy" when I was a kid!!!
It came out great😎
Was one of my favorite shows as a kid.

Hello - I came to see the Fall but stayed for the finish. Commented
Amazing video! My brother in law(Jeremy) just recently suggested this channel to me and I am not disappointed! This is absolutely awesome!!
Turned out great but was expecting the fall guy decals on 🤔

Thanks for doing this square body I love that you redid it like the Fall Guy Truck. Always looking forward to your next Resurrection.
Looks super great. Just shows how something cheap can look more expensive
Loved this show.
Lee Majors would be proud!
FANTASTIC job on your Chevy pickup! Like your wheel choice and the cool pinstripe detail!👍👍
Amazing as always! I'm 40. Im not a truck guy but the Fall Guy was one of my favorite shows.
Gotta love the old square bodies had a 77 Chevy Cheyenne on 44s and an 85 High Sierra on 35s. Great trucks
The Chevy came out awesome! Great job
Ohhh, love the Fall Guy. Great work.
Man that is a sharp little truck, great work on the paint and details!
Austin love the truck, I am Chevy man love their pickups, great restoration. 👍👌👌😎
Man you do a phenomenal job. Been watching for awhile and your JEDI skills are definitely moving to “Master” status. Thanks for sharing your work!!
Had that one back in the day. It was one of my favorites.
LOVE IT @Diecast Resurrection
I currently owe a 1986 C10 with a nicely build 383. This is my second Chevy and I’ve owed it since 2001. Before that I had a 1964 short bed step side. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼
Another awesome build. Always looking forward to the next one.
I have to say your work is awesome. Keep up the great work
Dang it. I started singing the theme song for Fall Guy as soon as i saw the truck!
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👍👍
Impressive work, turning it into a premium looking casting based on what you originally started with for the GMC. Great work!
Love that brown and mustard colors great job 🤙🏽
That's a goin to town rig right there 😎
I would drive that to work and take it out for a good off road beating once in a while!
Nice job.
I love the square body
Very nice looking Chevy P/U! I am also addicted to the "Blue Bowtie"! Currently my 4th Chevy, 2009 Silverado 2500HD. Bought it new, has 125k+ miles! As always, great job! Beautiful model truck!
Awesome job on the truck
Nailed it.... that thing looks insane
Superb resto job! A lot of time and effort for such a small casting...👍👍👍
This one turned out far better than I thought it would. Being around Christmas time, the paint choices had me salivating - Xmas pudding and custard. Yum 😁
Try Oven Cleaner to remove the chrome from the plastic parts and use silver metallic paint, looks PIMP!!!
Love your work dude
Great work as always . Looks 100 percent better then off the pegs .
WOW , SOOOOOOOOOOOO KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL .
Beautiful build just needed the hood decal and would have been a perfect fall guy trick. Love squarebodys.
Loved it! Been a Chevy guy for a long time! Well done, nice color combo!
Dude this is awesome. I had this one when I was as a little guy
Looks really good! Happy new year from Edmonton! 😁
You did a good job. It turned out werry nice.
Great work that truck brings back memories from when I used to watch the show as a kid.✌
I've always loved this body style of Chevy trucks.
Great job 👍👍👍👍

I love it I don't care if it's spot on the detail work on the trim is outstanding giving it an awesome end result

Classic trucks like this one are awesome ! Happy new year and keep 'em coming !
Your work is outstanding thank you for sharing
I remember watching this program as a kid. When I got the toy truck, I wasn't impress with the wheels either or the over-sized toolbox in the back.
I'm 35, have owned 4 square body trucks including the 75 Scottsdale swb I have now. Plus every diecast version I've been able to buy, also 2 1/10 rc bodies
That came out sweet! The fall guy loved that show when i was lil kid,AWESOME restoration!👌Happy New Year!🍻
Amazing how that clear coat wakes up the details. Gotta live the square body chevys. Growing up we had one on a friend’s farm. Could not kill it. It ran and ran. Wish I could go back and get it now.

That looks pretty good.

that's bad ass just like all your work thanks for the video
Likin' the extra time spent on the trim, looks like an original, nice tire choice too. Paint turned out sweet...... really like the 98 California Silverado been driving restoring and upgrading for the last 7 years. Rare sight here in the Michigan rust belt. Appreciate the vids!
That's a nice truck
Nice work! The only one I had was a '79 Blazer, copper with white side panels and cap. 15 x 10- 10hole mags.
I have one of these castings and man they just feel cheap in your hands. This ones looking good!
Cool video thanks for sharing your skills 😎
Pimp.....would like to see more trucks. I remember the custom extend cab truck you made awhile back..... PIMP
Gmc. 4x4. Resurrection. The fall. Guy. Ertl. Okay 👍
Great job looks great! I got 4 square body suburbans currently in the fleet!
I have a 85 step side and love it! You need to do one up and lower it!
Looks great good job
Great job
Sweet truck! I would pimp drive that around west Michigan. ✋
How cold is it? So cold I had to bring my snowman in! Take that algorithm gods.
I live close to him and it's in the minus 11-12 range plus the wind chill.
Looks amazing
Well I'm not the kind to kiss and tell but i'v been seen with Farrah . LOL!!! You may know that that was some of the words to the Fall Guy song by Lee Majors. Your dicast looks GREAT!!!!! Nice job my friend.
This is my comment to appease the great algorithm
That truck looks the business Autin , that Brown (err bronze?) .... with the cream panel and black and chrome strip reallysets it off , good wheel choice too 👌 👍
Nice job brother now I want one 😂👍✌
Still have my 99 square body that I started my landscape business with. I believe that was the last year for the square body and the first year for the new body style. Love it and shall never part with it.
I got one of those!!!!! Awesome!!!!
It looks amazing! Congrats! That's really added value to a simply cheap looking casting!
Awesome work 👍🏻🔥🤘🏻
Hello Happy New year excellent job
Awesome
