Can never hear enough from this lovely and knowledgeable lady. Her use of data and facts is amazing and she is so personable and non threatening. She deserves her award.

Brenda is one of the most 'balanced' plant-based nutritionists I've come across, she's a breath of fresh air- thanks for the interview :)

Erin O'Meara I gotta read them! It’s almost impossible to find a Vegan Dietitian!

Thanks so much for this info. Although not a vegan, I continue to encourage my people to have a principally plant based diet.

Wow. Brenda is amazing. This is the plant-based health information people need to hear, unfortunately what is in the media are some overly biased and less informed/educated vegan advocates :(

After breast cancer I was told by my doctor to stay away from soy because the cancer was estrogen fed and I miss Sawyer I love it I’m a vegan and I really wish I could use it more so are you saying that I can ?

Doctors don’t know squat about nutrition. If they did, they would say soy actually blocks estrogen receptive cancers. Phytoestrogen is not like our estrogen! The thing to avoid like the plague is dairy with many active mammal estrogens that DO stimulate cancer!

I have read that the fortified yeast the B12 is actually bad for you and that it is a radiated can you speak to this

I have heard this too. But even if it’s safe it’s not sufficient. Just take a supplement. The one thing she didn’t cover that always drives me nuts about B12 is that up to 70% of ALL ppl are low or deficient. It’s not just a vegan issue.

What about d8fferent body types? Blood types? We are all different. What do you think of doing the DNA BLOOD work done to know what is good for you and what isn't ?

I predict things will change with the next massive wave of technology in development right now. With 3D printing and molecular replication, people will get their meat substitutes replicated almost identical to that of animal without the harmful effects but still perhaps too much protein.
