I totally got your message. I would be grateful if I were a sprout for step by step with specific demonstration. Guides like this is so hard to find now that UhhOlivia is MIA. I especially liked the part quantity not individual price. Really appreciate the work you put into it. Follow and subscribe as show of support. Though.... there are like 2 dozen or so "marketable" trades that I use and none of them are ever on any guides. There are specific self imposed guidelines we use, like if it's more than 50k net profit per minute spent, it's not worth it, etc... Maybe something you can share in your next video.
Of course, I actually capped on crystals and clusters and decided to try selling my surplus of them. Once I realized how lucrative they were I started selling em to make room for more. So I of course had to make this video for others who are new/capped as well.
Especially because as of right now. All element shards crystals and cluster markets on my server have crashed. The prices plummetted so bad that its not even worth it until they go back up😅
you can get the soil by trading poe for unidentifiables and then swap those for soil in Idyllshire, or get the unidentifiables with hunt seals and do the same. Saves a lot of time and retainer ventures. Love this video!
I used to make gil selling these back in ARR and HW, and honestly it never crossed my mind that I should start doing it again especially with the new expansion coming. Looks like I’ve got some gathering to do! Thanks for the video.
Big points for thoroughness on this video. And as an end-game player that frequently crafts and gathers, i can confirm all of these methods working. My recommendation to other players, DO NOT do just one method to get shards crystals and clusters. That would be a bad use of time in the effort.
I saw you in diadem 1-2 weeks ago. Crazy that after years you're still farming that xD. I ran diadem for about 2-3 weeks straight to level up my gatherers, and just selling off everything I got made me about 7 mil.
FFXIV has such great music. I barely played the game because I'm primarily into housing. The music still grips me into wanting to log in even though I don't have a reason to play.
With the new update around the corner, I would say if one is willing to watch the market to adjust prices accordingly to the factors of supply/demand/convenience, your guide is excellent towards making some Gil. I also mention 'convenience' as a factor because as a player who has maxed level my crafting/gathering jobs along with getting currently the best possible gear set (and splendorous tools), I debate whether I want to save time and spend some of my gil to buy the things I need off the Market Board, to craft the latest gear/glam/whatever, or do I go out and gather the materials myself.
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv It's pretty incredible, though, to watch how quickly the prices fluctuate from "What th- that's a rip-off!" to "Hmm I can buy the material, craft the gear/glam/whatever and undercut, sell for profit, and wait til the prices stablize so I can buy the materials again to craft my own set (or just buy)" "Time" is the most precious commodity. Like being a working adult with a 9-5 job, a family, mortgage and bills to pay, lol I sometimes wonder how I even managed to get as far as I have in this game.

What ive noticed is a pretty big early money maker is Submarine mats. either magitek repair kits for around 2k, garlond steel for 10k, a stack of 999 fuel can sell for between 100-200k. and of course, glamour prisms are always in style.
For shards/crystals via retainer, they need the following stats for each breakpoint. Normal 80 gathering gear SHOULD hit the 120 breakpoint easily enough? I had to my some of my 71 gear to hit the 120 mark. 30 (Gathering ≥ 90) 60 (Perception ≥ 164) 100 (Perception ≥ 1350) 110 (Perception ≥ 1485) 120 (Perception ≥ 1620)
I understand about those special sprites on diadem during special weather, & did bazooka on em during early days, but then realize later that diadem easily ate ur sanity the longer u stay. Hence it is way better to focus blasting on mobs that drops the mats you need than wasting on sprites. 😅 Aetherial reduction imo the best way to do this overall, can try combine other activities like Mor Dhona ones for example, but never ever waste time on Diadem, I'm very serious about the sanity-thingie. 🤪
hahahha I went for Gathering Saint(Botanist) on the final period. While the chat was wild and I met people I remember and will wave if i see in duties to this day....I still can't be in there for very long and for a while there could not enter at all....The Diadem indeed makes you go crazy.(At least I got my title and fueled my in game wife's crafting Beata title???)
I sell them by the thousands :) Mostly Earth and Fire, because that's what you get from Aethersand farming. Sometimes I don't pay attention and I'm at 9999 lol. So I just sell stacks of 2k, 2.5k, etc so I have space to get new ones.

The great part of crystals shard and clusters. Their market demand will not crash. Why? Because all three are ALWAYS needed and a fair bit of crafters do not want to spend the time to gather them when they can just pay for a decent amount off the mb.
Gonna try this and see if i can make gil before the market crashes. but knowing your right on one thing people will not gather this stuff on there own. lol knowing the sever i'm on aether is always pricey so i can maybe make alot of money. by doing this. really wanna make some gil before dawntrail comes!
It’s gil vs time. If you commit to gil for awhile, you see various ways. Pushing retainer is passive and can add to your sum. These methods can easily take up most of online time and if you want millions per day, be ready to commit 10+ hours each day. Every day, your feel for the market board will increase to a poiny of actually understanding how lalas think, but tamper your expectations. You will probably make 100k to 500k daily playing casually even if you think you are pushing hard. If you think you are on retainer savage and market board ultimate, you can net 6M + a day and 500M+ post patch madness. I know it’s hard to gain trust here, so here’s a market secret. Unbound mounts from moogle treasure trove can be saved(they are not unique) and sold .0, .2, .4 patches release when the RMT players come back to raid. RMT people sad, I know, but that’s just the truth.
I've been selling crystals for literal years; the thing is the demand is always present so it never really crashes prices. People will always need these to do literally any crafting in the game and so people will always need these and in large quantities. Prices may lower a little occasionally but you will always sell your stock relatively quickly, and prices go up again anytime something crafting related happens in a patch or expac. Besides, this guide is more of a a headsup that if you have extras you can sell them rather than a 'go grind a bajillion shards to sell' sort of deal.

The quest is called an original improvement in the crystarium. Need to beat endwalker msq of 6.0 and unlocked the crystalline mean to start the quest line.
Slavery to 40min cycles. I still am pushing crystal when I need some low stress farming with 80 max level botanist retainers. (It takes 20min to resend them on 40mim expedition). This is prone to quick burn out buy every 20 min cycle is like 350-400k net, currently. This seems like a lot, but honestly, this is pocket change, just spending money for other things. Most of the gil is made during the patch updates. I doubt that anyone is really going to share the secrets there, but if you think it through and test a few ideas, you will find the secret sauce. I think making sure you get plenty of play yome is healthy

But then, each of your retainers can hold 999,999,999 gil. And for each of alts with same number of retainers. There's no end to economic domination ^^

I currently am hoarding 918 Jet Black dyes, 680 pink dyes, 654 pure white dyes. Expect to hoard all pastel dyes, too. Buying Jet Black upto 450k each, pure white 420k each, pink 90k each on monthly basis across all NA DC/servers to recover to low price. Expected Jet black at 1M average, Pure white 800K and pink 250K. basically double minus the 8% in taxes. There's opportunity at 6.57 and 6.58 with collab content for a quick dump as well.

You say stick to 500 each yet when you open each history you see the same name multiple times in a row. That means people are buying more than 500 at a time. I sell 5000 at a time and watch them fly off the market all day long. I also do not spend any time farming crystals or shards. I use my retainers to bring back 120 crystals or shards every 40 minutes at the cost of 1 venture token. And if your really smart, you will fill up all your retainers with crystals and shard in stacks of 9999 and price them for really expensive prices so they do not sell. then on patch day, split the stacks in half, and drop the prices to what ever the market price is and they will all sell that day.
Heh. Used to want to make gils from omnicrafting but that never worked out. Crafting is too unreliable without super indepth study of the market and finding niches. Gathering in the other hand? Crystals are a pain to gather so omnicrafters tend to buy them. And lower level mats are always used by this or that class for materials or simply levelling up.

This was made cause I was over stocked. And plenty of ppl are probably capped as well. That's why I said only if you have a surplus of them. Easiest gil avenue out there and my sales proves otherwise.

There's plenty of other gatherable items that out pace it on gil/hr. Especially if you're using retainers.

Yes but one is not really viable due to needing a fc house and it's completely RNG and takes forever. And desynthesis isn't efficient enough.

I bought alot myself and had 500mil left. I'm 400 away from cap again and probably will buy more stuff in dawntrail
