you've made me make sooooooo much gil the past few months u have no idea now i can finally be at a comfortable spot and even help friends with gil sometimes keep the guides coming! i'll always watch your stuff c:
Thank you for this! I was just thinking I needed a consistent way to get GIL despite not having a ton of time on a day to day basis. I can try each of these then work the one I like best.
Nice! Hopefully they help, might find my 'basic weekly activities' vid for gil useful as well if your after some easy regular things to do for a good steady income ;)
North America here! 👋 Wanted to mention that when the board is oversaturated, your Culinarian is 90, you've accessed Old Sharlayan and you don't frequently do Leves, I would highly recommend doing the quest "A Mountain Steeped" with HQ items. The crafting is simple and shouldn't take more than twenty minutes (having the Crafting Soul helps a little) and the money is an immediate payoff 👌 A little something extra if you've exhausted the options listed in this video
Hey North American! :) . Yep love burning my leve's. the level 86 Alchemist one 'practical command' is also great as none of its ingredients need crafting making it pretty swfit. Even if someone didnt' want to craft, then buying the leve items off the marketboard (current price dependant) can be a super quick way to make a few hundred thoushand gil off a full stack of leve allowances otherwise sitting there wasted. (tho the crafter class does need to be levelled to unlock the leve!)
Something to mention about eureka orthos is it also drops the HQ (glowy) versions of Suzaku, Shinryu and Seiryu weapons. There is MONEY to be made in those if you are willing to play the longer game. I have about 40m of suzaku, seriyu and shinryu weapons in 1 retainer that I sell slowly and its just easy money. You can even desythn them to try for materials if you want to craft bardings to sell.
Assuming you don't mind having a stack of things and splitting it to sell the stack over time... Looking at gil per minute, ARR dungeons are really good. They have items unique to the dungeon for crafting. On my server Amdapori Stone sells for 21k, takes 2 minutes to get to the chest with it in Ampador Keep, just need to unsync run it, kill one boss and leave after opening the chest half way to the second boss. Fine Wax in Haukke Manor selling for 14k, don't even need to fight a boss, just get your way to the first optional room to open with the small keys and open the chest inside and leave.
I was looking for ways to make gil but now i'm just on the catch-up struggle bus to get through Dawntrail MSQ, anything new besides the patch day stuff i should keep an eye on for gil while leveling? Thanks for the guides, and keep on doing The Lights Work.
Give this YT vid a watch from Rigel Natsuki. Really good/clear walkthrough of the method with which spells etc (much clearer than i could detail here!); th-cam.com/video/ugc4ITe0CC4/w-d-xo.html
I'll likely recap it if in the keynote from a news perspective but not a real 'reaction' vid I guess, I don't feel my reactions to things would be overly entertaining! 😅
Trade between worlds and data centers. As someone who owns two large houses. One personal and one fc. Trading between worlds is best form of gil making at any level.
As a sprout who started a month ago. Other than getting through the main story quest and getting geared. This is the biggest foremost question on my mind. How to make lots of Gil. I’ve saved up quite a bit already, and I also sold a lot of things that I got throughout the story and some crafted items.
Do you mean when gathering them? the older ones mentioned in the vid are gathered in ARR area's. Plus if you find one you don't want just don't gather it and move onto the next gathering node until you find the one your after :)
im pretty sure the first deep dungeon i always forget the name of can be unlocked with lvl 17 or something ... its pretty early in game but i dont know exactly which questline it was ... or even where it started and what you need to do before but that should be quite easy to look up
I like it mix it up between the different solo maps but do have a soft spot for the original level 40 leather map; a few different locations; listed here ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Timeworn_Leather_Map
Just need to be level 17 to enter Palace of the dead. It then has its own internal leveling system which starts at 1 everytime you start a fresh run so your actual level makes no difference.
I usually sell them as they go for like 200k on my server which is a lot to gamble on! Tho you can get items from them worth more like 400k so just depends how risky your feeling!
My guess is that you ran it unsynced? Unfortunalty you only get gil if you sync your level down which is why its only really feasible solo with Blu. :(
What you didn't tell people is that items from deep dungeons and variant dungeons might take forever to sell. It can clutter your retainers real quick. For GC seal spam you might as well just run lvl 90 dungeons to get tomestones that can be sold or traded for more GC seals plus you get materia you can sell (fluctuates in price) or transmute for higher value materia (some rng to it) plus a chance of a minion dropping (you can see botters this way on the MB if there's multiple of the same minion or orchestrion roll sold by the same retainer). Solo treasure maps would just be a daily/weekly chore with the same issue of items taking forever to sell. And if you're paying for the maps, it's really not worth it in my opinion. Prices of some maps add up to a lot and to hope rng pays it back is just gambling. You could even just sell some of the maps for about 40k daily. In Eureka, I'd heavily advise against the bot infested as well as popular Pyros, at least when there's lots of people around because if there's too many players doing the bunny fate, it's possible some people will not get the bunny. I'd recommend Hydatos instead. Gil from a coffer can drop 10k, 25k or 100k (same as the others ones) but you also get a ton of logograms that net few 100k per 3 hours in there every time I've been doing it (on Chaos, BA runs are done every week so logograms sell consistently). I'd say I easily get 500k per 3 hours in there on average getting about 3 100k coffers. And! If you're lucky you might get the mount or other vanity things that might net you profit (might take a while to sell though) but you can watch something on the side while waiting for the next bunny fate to pop which is about every 10min or farm the other fates for relic tokens and more lockboxes (they drop platinum pieces and clear demimaterias that are profitable too). I recommend doing it at night/morning time or when there's not many players around or just checking how many players are in the instance. Instances tend to close on that map for some reason so it's super chill when you're alone in the instance. Another dungeon you can do is Saint Mocianne's Arboretum (Hard) that drops super popular verdant partitions (rng) in addition to the GC seals. They were also a reward in the previous mogtome event so keep an eye out for when those happen. If you do daily roulettes, doing them as a role in need nets you a decent profit over time. It really depends how much effort you want to put into doing certain content and getting bored or burnt out of doing something so often is a thing. Crafting and gathering is also always an option if you prefer management over battling. If you have EW areas at max with shared fates, you can sell bicolor gemstone vouchers for about 90k a piece (100 gemstones). They still sell but they might crash with the next expansion or in case the last relic step utilizes fates. And one last thing - sell your garbage from your retainers and inventory. Easy to get back items you don't use often just clutter your space and are annoying to tip toe around when you do actually need space. Helped a friend with it some time ago and he earned few millions from it.
easy gil, learn savages gear your main then do merc pfs, anywhere between 500k-10mil per 15 minutes of work. depends on what they want but Ive done merc parties for end tier fights for mounts and lootmaster roles for 10mil per person
gihihihi imagine trying that hard for that low almount of gil :3 if u wanna make alot of gil just play the auction house and use gatherers/crafters , like the daylies etc. try to sell stuff thats not there on the ah that ppl need to lvl thier crafters.
A few fun activities to get stuck into without the need to form a group! :)

sometimes you have the group but they dont wanna play content
this helps a lot, thanks
Have come back to this video multiple times, thank you for being so straight-forward and concise
You are so welcome! :)
ooooh i never thought about doing leather maps every day, good idea!
Thanks for the guide!

Considering that I'm still fairly new to blu, what sort of spell setup is recommended to run the vault?
Give this YT vid a watch from Rigel Natsuki. Really good/clear walkthrough of the method with which spells etc (much clearer than i could detail here!);

Don't even waste time with these peasant gil farming methods, craft and sell niche items or housing items and make 10x with less effort.
Will you be doing a reaction to Hrothgal reveals? It’s most likely guaranteed for the JP Fanfest Keynote!
What do you trade ?
My bf has been doing that and I'm blown away by the gil. While my lvl 75 goldsmith struggles lol
@@NewtonSparetire it's really the best way to make gil if you are patient.

if you do the blue mage farm as a group do you still get the same amount of gil or is it split
Split unfortunatley!
The problem with maps is that I always get the 8 players one. And never the one player one. So EW maps are out of the question for solo.
Do you mean when gathering them? the older ones mentioned in the vid are gathered in ARR area's. Plus if you find one you don't want just don't gather it and move onto the next gathering node until you find the one your after :)
So I shouldn't even bother doing this until I get to level ninety?
The solo treasure maps are a solid choice to do daily from early levels!
im pretty sure the first deep dungeon i always forget the name of can be unlocked with lvl 17 or something ... its pretty early in game but i dont know exactly which questline it was ... or even where it started and what you need to do before but that should be quite easy to look up
thanks for the video ! Question : can you do solo treasure maps with any combat class solo ?
Yes, any solo map (ones that don't say for a full party of 8 people recommended in the item description) can be done solo easily with any class :)
wow, so fast !! Thank you !!@@SamsonGrey26
For our daily free maps which zones do you recommend for solo?
I like it mix it up between the different solo maps but do have a soft spot for the original level 40 leather map; a few different locations; listed here

What level do you need to be to solo POD?
Just need to be level 17 to enter Palace of the dead. It then has its own internal leveling system which starts at 1 everytime you start a fresh run so your actual level makes no difference.
For the treasure maps method, do you open the Unhidden Leather Maps or sell them?
I usually sell them as they go for like 200k on my server which is a lot to gamble on! Tho you can get items from them worth more like 400k so just depends how risky your feeling!
any map inparticular better to do ?
The 4 mentioned in the vid all have potential, I'd just go for whichever of those are currently cheapest on your Market board!
i did the vault with warrior, but didnt got gil from it. is bluemage mendetory for this? or what else did i wrong? :X
My guess is that you ran it unsynced? Unfortunalty you only get gil if you sync your level down which is why its only really feasible solo with Blu. :(
@@SamsonGrey26 ur right! that was my fault! thanks for your advice c:
what is the name of that blue glowing gun i NEED it
I think the name is padjali weapons off the top of my head. Basically the ones you get from the Palace of the dead deep dungeon!

It's because the video is clickbait.
Theres me stuck on around 40k gill lmao and needing another 4 mill lmao
Slowly but surely! :)
I like to use Gil to fast travel without limits, could be a rookie move, I could care, though.
Only a rookie move if your actively trying to increase your gil!
Everyone fast travels like crazy.
One thing to note is that you cant do HoH without finishing PoTD

basic guide
i have better ways to make more faster even at lower level, but i'mma keep that to myself.
As if items can be always sold in marketboard😂😂😂
is anyone available on trading gil here
