This video is absolutely wonderful. I just took five windows out and replace them with new ones. I wanted to do posters on the backside of the glass so it would be facing forward. It looks like you used decoupage although I don’t know if it would be different because this is poster paper. Anyway, I am appreciative of your knowledge.
The window that you had in your garden? What about getting a taller mailbox post type thing kind of an antique style and hanging the when do from there maybe putting some plans and rocks around it
That was an incredible video.. Filled with ideas and possibilities.. would love to visit the store one day (however I live in Florida) ! On the white stencil on glass; how can it be sealed so that it doesn’t come off when cleaning it? Thanks a bunch!!
You are too sweet. Would love you to visit, if you are in town. You cannot seal the window. But I like to stencil windows to change things up and decorate for the season..just clean it off with window cleaner…
Such a cute idea for the 6 paned window...I definitely want to do something like this, if only because each of those techniques is just FUN to do! Also, do you mind if I ask where you pick up those great bottles you keep your paint in? I think I need some!
The bottles are called FIFO (first in first out) bottles. I sell them on my website at shoptheturnedleg.com/products/first-in-first-out-fifo-bottle?_pos=1&_sid=c6ff3f7ae&_ss=r
If you paint the window on the back side (DIY paint, of course), you can use colored chalk markers on the front of the glass for a perfect message board.
Do you have a video on how to hang them because I know they’re super large and heavy.. I was just wondering if you use some kind of gorilla glue and how big the hardware should be?
Question are you ever concerned about lead paint from old windows? I have quite a stash of them and couldn't decide what to do because of that. Do you seal the transfers on the windows? Also do you put a care for tag on them for your customers? Thanks for all of the ideas❤️

Hang the window from the tree! Everything turned out so good!! 😍
I have thought about it. The branches are not very strong...but it might work. Great suggestion. Thank you!
Thank you for all these amazing ideas! ❤
You are so welcome!
I saw someone used an old easel in their garden and attached the window frame to it then hung a wreath in center it looked very nice.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing!

@@theturnedleg thank you...on my way to see what kind of trouble I can get into today! 😉
Cute video and great tips! You could use a couple shepherd hooks to ha g your window by the corners 😀
Thanks, Jen. Great idea.
Can you use the liquid patina over the transfers on the windows?
If you did the clear glass could become cloudy.
@@theturnedleg how about if youput the transfer on then painted all around the transfer then clear coat?
@@Cindy-ng6sx That could work. I have never tried it.
@@Cindy-ng6sx you could pour a thin coat of resin over it

Great tip. Thank you. I never thought of that.

I use French cleats. Same thing I use for my corbel shelf video. They work great and are easy to install.
I use I hook and chain

I use a lead test kit. You can get them at the hardware. No seal on transfers. Yes, I include a care tag on my windows for customers. You are welcome!
You could maybe try one or two of the metal election campaign inground frames.
Great idea.
