standard for what?it has good graphics for a fantasy adventure game but the moment it tries to compete with real rpgs,it fails, heavy graphics should be standard for nothing they just limit games option and playerbase
💯 with you...TW3 is the best game of all time. With the state of the video game industry I'm just trying to not get my hopes up with 4. I really hope they deliver for us :)
I'm really starting to think, that there will never be a better game... I can't let go even after 9 years. The Witcher 3 is my comfort game. A Witcher 4 kinda scares me ngl, even if i'm really hyped that we get it in the future.
To be honest - even almost 9 years after it's release - this gane lookd absolute gorgeous! I do not know, why CD Project Red chose to abandon their engine...
because its costly, they lost alot of the devs who could manage it, they said red engine was like building a train track at the same time as driving the train#
thanks for explaining man! I did not know that - it is a shame though - looking at the newest patch in Cyberpunk 2077 and some of the 4k60 videos on youtub3 it is very well capable of sime ultra realistic graphics which do not need to hide bejind Unreal Engine at all!
it would be their fall, they just thought the engine is bad because of cyberpunk llaunch, the engine is still to this day top tier for open world rpg and graphics, nothing ue5 has can do that at any acceptable performance.
@@chaoxfhy2552 tell that to ue5 devs, they dont even build the tracks they just run the train and as a result no ue5 game can ever support rpg open world elements at high graphics.
CyberPunk 2077 release - you've seen how bad it was, and among other issues it was mainly caused due to issues with RedEngine. Internal not suited to fast traveling, vertical high paced games. Even now on highest end PCs the popup is a bit insane. When you drive fast all details popup close to you, lighting changes etc. to be honest it look kind of shit. They had so much trouble modifying it to this state, than going further would be insane and probably better to start from scratch, but they need to start working on next project again soon, no time to spare. In they end it looks fine and works fine, but that's up front internals of engine are bad and won't allow to develop it any further. So CDPR got rid of trouble some engine that costed them tons of money. Next issue with it was that each new employee had to be taught how it operates, how to use it, it's limitation etc. While UE has way more people already familiar with it, so it's way easier to find people with experience, so they don't need to adapt everybody for months, but just got folks ready to start from day 1. That's why CDPR now opens new studios abroad, which woud be very difficult of they'd stay on RedEngine. Do you rememvber launches of Witcher, Witcher 2, Witcher 3? - Each game was a buggy mess at start, though way less complex and easier to fix than CP77. That way they're granted much more solid foundation to begin with, it's less expensive and much easier to find people with experience. Surely there are downsides, but that's why CDPR started cooperating with Epic to adapt UE to their needs, before they start anything major. Moving into UE was also necessary to ensue that online mode will be possible, as RedEngne wouldn't handle it, due to how messy it is.
I finished my 3rd playtrough two months ago and damn...this is making me play it again. Should I? I did want to do a playtrough with the polish dub cause i always hear people praising it a lot 😂
I am playing in 4K right now actually. I need to update my description. I change it to ultra wide sometimes for making videos (3840x1600) but I play on 4K all the time I have everything on max. Frame generation off because of the lag. Ray tracing all on with quality. DLSS quality. With RT on I get around 55-65fps With RT off I get around 80-90 fps. Sometimes 100
Watching 8K in 4K.. But I don't regret it muchly cause my monitor is only 4K (for me it is more than enough) and also my PC is too weak to play 8K fluently. Still it looks and sounds GREAT - even after all this time! .. I didn't use any mods playing BUT I remember that sometimes I've just launched W3 to see how beautiful this game is! :)
I would pay some nice amount if a person cpuld make me forget all about ever playing this and I had a guarantee it would work hahaha. What a masterpiece!
Also if the video lags then it's because of TH-cam. The bitrate of this video is too high. It's 250mbs lol. Sometimes it lags to send that much of data. So if you just skip backwards and play it over again then it won't lag. Other lags are game lags and it will be there. It's not youtubes problem
Actually red engine was expensive and there were lot of other problems as well. Let's hope that new Witcher games will be very well optimized and would look good fingers crossed
By the way, do you have disclosed any were your game recording settings? If you record it with obs, what are your settings? I also try to record some stuff ingame, but my raw output material apperas to not look as good as I would wish...
I use nvidia's shadowplay to record. It's the best. I record with 8K 250mbps bitrate. Even though the resolution is 4K but i use the 8K settings for higher bit rate. But i think recording with 150mbps is enough because TH-cam anyways compresses it to around 120mbps. The video quality which you are seeing in this video is very bad. The original one of this looks way better and crisp
This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't like this that much. It's not closer to reality, nor does it achieve higher artistic fidelity than TW3 with QHD on high settings. All this does for me is make the game look too sharp and too artificial. E.g. at 3:33 it makes the difference between actually rendered landscape and the skybox (mountainbox) in the distance. TW3 is a beautiful game, but sharpening it beyond what its original artistic vision was IMO is not the way.
@@JasonBrodyGaming I only figured out after I posted my comment. Checked your mod list on another video, will eventually try this as well. Many thanks, kr Adson :)

its wish fulfilment for incels
you can see this in how dry and boring geralt’d character is. They designed it to appeal to lonely teenage boys

Hi can you give me the link/name of the mod that you've used.
hello brother i have all the links in the pinned comment of this video - th-cam.com/video/xxFsXoMBtrs/w-d-xo.html
@@JasonBrodyGaming Thank you
this game will always be on top.
I fell in love all over again with this game
The witcher 3 is still the GOAT especially with the modding tools releasing soon!
Amazing! What about performance? Didi you face a big fps drop? How many fps are you getting with mods on?
with RT on i get around 60fps. with RT off i get 80-90 fps. 4K both
I would pay some nice amount if a person cpuld make me forget all about ever playing this and I had a guarantee it would work hahaha.
What a masterpiece!
Great, but the colours are colder than in the original and so is the whole atmosphere...
how about Velen or Skellige?

Not even 120 think. It might be even less. It ruins the whole video. I guess it's because of space issues
Horizon Forbidden West looks insanely detailed. But Witcher 3 is OK in 2024
