    Surya Namaskar
    Set of yoga postures performed as a sequence
    Alternate forward and backward bending movements
    Paired with alternating inhalation and exhalation
    Insights on Surya namaskar from its origin to application towards health
    Surya Namaskar is:
    The most widely adopted sequence of asanas which has its origin from Indian traditional physical training
    form of complete practice involving asanas and pranayama
    alternative stretching and compression at the abdominal area
    increasing mobility of joints, extending muscle power, and vitality
    (Prasanna Venkatesh & Vandhana, 2022).
    Surya Namaskar:
    “Meets nearly all the criteria of the American College of Sports Medicine's current guidelines in terms of type of exercise (viz., aerobic, resistance, flexibility, and proprioceptive and neuromotor exercise) with purposive frequency, intensity, time, and volume” (Bandyopadhyay et al., 2022).
