Mopars At The Park Road Trip Video Part 2 - Dealer Stops - Sketchy

- In this video we have Part 2 of our long Mopars at the Park road trip. We start out in North Dakota doing our dealer stops (which we explain in the video, we try to find old Mopar dealers that have been in business for a long time and see if they have any NOS parts or signs we can buy) and find some AMAZING NOS dealer signs still in the original crates. So hard to find this stuff out in the wild anymore. We then go to the Mopars at the Park show in Stillwater, Minnesota. Swap meets are our happy place and we show you some cars for sale as well as some parts. Found a bunch of signs in the swap as well. Did not have a ton time to go through the show but we show you a few of the interesting cars and trucks we found. A 1968 Plymouth Barracuda with 7 miles! Also a Dodge Marksman Ram Pickup in which you got a Winchester rifle when you bought your truck. Jamie from Dead Dodge Garage eventually arrives and finds out Rob Wolfe from Mopar Collectors Guide wants to put him on the cover of the magazine! We show you behind the scenes footage of MCG doing a photoshoot of Jamie and the car.
We finally start heading home after this with a visit at our friend @Roosters_Restos, a look at a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible as well as a 1966 Dodge Charger with a 383 4 speed in it. We also stop by a friends in North Dakota who is a previous owner of the 1970 Plymouth Road Runner 440+6 car that was originally black with burnt orange interior. The next day we finally get home after a very long trip. The ramp truck was fantastic! It is a little sketchy but got us both home in one piece.

Living the good life. Sketchy old cars and truck and an open highway. Who could ask for more?
Really enjoy these road trips and gets me excited to get back home and work on my stuff.
Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Omg! really incredible video-work, Rocket,
Appreciate it!
@@rocketrestothat new Yorker is the star!!!
On marketplace they want twice as much...
I'm not a Mopar guy, but man you keep feeding the cool info I love about these old cars in general. From some Ford guy who appreciates your efforts, the dealer visits are a nice touch as well
Appreciate your feedback! We can't post video from a lot of the dealers we stop at because most times they don't want us to. You should see what we can't post!
@@rocketresto I can only imagine. But those are the rewards you reap for taking the effort to find them.
Love the signs, I’m jealous!
Have really gotten into signs the last couple of years, kind of went off the deep end a bit.
Nice seeing some of my old trucks that I kinda used to have as a teenager. Congratulations to Jamie as well 👏
Jamie did a great job with that truck.
Booth looked amazing. Great stuff, Tom. Thank you.
Thanks!
The 1970 DODGE CORONET' Front End is AWESOME ! Just like the 1961 Plymouth . Etc...
Definitely an acquired taste.
Wouldn't say sketchy, she just did an admirable job of haulin 4000 lbs over 5000 miles. It is a truck, not a new truck disguised as a car. We are becoming spoiled. 😊
The sketchy is a little tongue and cheek. Truck did great and @deaddodgegarage would have had most of the issues fixed before the trip if he had another week to work on it but he just ran out of time. He will have that thing whipped into shape in no time.
The spoiled thing is right, driving around my 2022 with heated and cooled seats, leather seats...etc...we are spoiled!
Fun road trip!
Macho Powerwagon always gets my attention
Would love one but not that rusty. Found one locally I e been trying to buy for a while.
@@rocketresto I as a kid. Born in '67 . Well Macho and Warlocks got my attention.
Great episode. Cheers Sir
Great video Tom, dig the longer format when we can get it.
Would love to do longer format videos but just have so much going on it's hard to devote that much time to them unless it's a road trip. 50 minutes of video usually takes at least 3 hours to shoot and edit. Will see what we can do and thanks for watching!
I completely understand, I’ve got 4 kiddos and a project car which id like to make more progress on and make more content..you know which one takes priority

This is a great channel, keep it up!
Thanks!
👍👍👍👍
So many flies: The Exorcist.
Some metaphor about his demon came to mind but decided to be nice.
Why
Good video, what about my cinnamon rolls 😂 i didnt miss a thing at mopars in the park i see. Oh ya the rain.😂 the mud bogs. I really messed up when we were talking about my roadrunner i should have that on video and hope i can remember all you taught me about it. 😢
Should have got the cinnamon rolls 🤦♂️
I have the Dodge Marksman Winchester Model 94 30-30 Rifle, no box.
Never seen the truck before.
Really? I'd love to get one.
Got it about 10 years ago from another FFL dealer in town (down here in Orygun) that knew I'm a Dodge nut.
I see them every once in a while on Gun Broker.
I wish mine had the box. It's in GREAT SHAPE but after seeing the box in your video I gotta have one for mine!
There's one on GB right now but it's up to $1400....😮
No box but does have all of the hang tags and do-dads.
Did you stop by Fury Motors to see if they had any new old stock they didn't need? Fury is about 15-20 miles east of where I live & what? a mile from the meet?
They were cleaned out years ago. Was telling Jamie about the super cool Forward Look sign they had up during that era when we passed it.
Are you going to put a link to Part 1 for your click deficient fans?
Just did thanks!
