Dodge Charger RT Causing Havoc At 121mph

- I observed a white Dodge Charger pass vehicles on the shoulder driving recklessly. I was able to get its speed on my radar at 121 miles per hour. While catching up, it continued to pass vehicles on the shoulder. I notified dispatch I was in pursuit. The vehicle took the exit 18, drove over both traffic islands, disregarded the stop sign, and and drove through the intersection of Miller County Road 10 at about 70 miles per hour. The vehicle continued southbound on the on-ramp back onto Interstate 49. At the on-ramp from US Highway 71 near the 16 mile-marker, the vehicle applied its brakes and nearly came to a stop. I applied my brakes also, and I drove up next to the driver’s side of the vehicle, at that point, I saw the driver and we made eye contact. I notified dispatch of the driver’s description, a black male with long hair and a black t-shirt on. The vehicle accelerated, I continued to pursue it southbound on Interstate 49. I was able to see the Louisiana License Plate of 670GJI and provided that to dispatch. That License Plate returned to a white 2013 Dodge Charger registered to Jasmine Foster out of Alexandria, LA. Near the 15 mile-marker, I attempted to place my vehicle beside the rear of his vehicle for a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI), but the driver swerved his vehicle and prevent me from getting beside his. I requested for dispatch to notify the Louisiana State Police and the Caddo Parrish Sheriff's Office. Near the 14 mile-marker, the vehicle passed a truck on the right shoulder of the Interstate at about 115 miles per hour. Near the 12 mile-marker, I attempted to TVI at about 120 miles per hour. This time, I was able to get beside and behind his vehicle. As I accelerated to get beside him, he swerved at me, and I applied my brakes to prevent a collision. Near the 10 mile-marker, I attempted to TVI at about 120 miles per hour. I was able to get my vehicle beside his. As soon as I did, he applied his brakes and was able to stop his vehicle quicker than I could stop mine. The vehicle accelerated quicker than I could and tried to cross the median using the authorized vehicle turnaround. The vehicle was moving too quickly to be able to make the turn, so it drove into the median for a short distance. The vehicle was able to get back onto the interstate and continue southbound. Near exit 6 onto Miller County 197, the vehicle swerved to prevent me from getting up beside it. The vehicle took exit 6, disregarded a stop sign, crossed over Miller County Road 197 at about 60 miles per hour, and continued back down the on-ramp onto Interstate 49 southbound. Near the 5 mile-marker, the vehicle swerved side to side to prevent me from getting beside ti to TVI. The vehicle took exit 4, disregarded a stop sign, drove through the intersection at about 50 miles per hour, over a traffic island, and back up the on-ramp to get onto Interstate 49 southbound. Near the 2 mile-marker, I attempted to TVI, but the vehicle was able to stop and accelerate quicker than I could to prevent my TVI. Near the 1mile-marker, I was in place to TVI on the left side of the vehicle, but too far from the vehicle, as I began to close the distance between our vehicles, the driver applied the brakes, placed his vehicle next to mine, and turned toward me at about 118 miles per hour. I attempted to prevent the collision by turning left, but lost traction and began to go off the roadway. Turned cable barrier disabled my vehicle and deployed my driver side curtain airbags. I struck my head on the airbags and my left knee on the door. I had to continue to steer left and cross the northbound lanes of travel of Interstate 49. While on the side of the road, a witness that was driving ahead of where the suspect forced me off the roadway returned to the scene to tell me they saw him force me of the roadway. They provided Trp. Phifer with a witness statement. Caddo Parrish Sheriff's Office had taken two individuals into custody in Rodessa, LA after the vehicle that fled from me had crashed out. A Caddo Parrish Deputy arrived at the location of my crash, and I was able to describe the driver to him, which matched the description of one of the individuals they took into custody, Xavier Javuan Wright. The Deputy showed me a picture of Wright and I confirmed it was him. With my vehicle now disabled, I rode with Trp. Phifer to the scene where the vehicle crashed, spoke with Wright, and confirmed he was the driver of the Charger that had fled and caused me to crash. According to Caddo Parish Deputy Frizzell's incident report (Incident Number 202400019118), the female passenger in the vehicle, black female Kennedy Harris, 10/01/2002, informed them that ti was only Wright and her in the vehicle and he was the driver. Caddo Parrish took Wright into custody on their charges of Reckless for the felony charges of Fleeing by Vehicle with Substantial Risk, Aggravated Assault, and Battery 2nd Degree with Injury to Law Enforcement.

Well... the Sheriff in Louisiana got the suspect, so Gannon got the last laugh, to his face, because he drove out there to Louisiana in another AR marked unit, and went to the scene where the suspect crashed.

Take your car at 120-140 and keep swerving hard. Everytime he did it to dodge a pit he could’ve wrecked. And every exit he ran right over the median which could’ve easily busted his oil pan ending it pretty quick. I wouldn’t call all of that and brake checking(which can glaze your rotors rendering brakes useless) a better driver. Any real driver could point out any of that😂. Don’t glaze the brakes by getting them too hot heavy braking and at high speeds use very little and gradual steering input. Simple. This guys just lucky all them reckless mistakes didn’t put himself out

@@mikecreery7666 which is smart if you know how to drive but you wouldn’t exactly jerk the wheel at that speed. It’d be gradual. But he wasn’t doing it for the drafting he did it to avoid being pitted. Could’ve easily over “corrected” doing that and lost it putting himself out. I’m just pointing out that he’s clearly not a good driver just because he got away and avoided pits. He just got lucky he didn’t crash jerking the wheel at that speed. Keep in mind the weight of a charger aswell

I been saying you got to work them heavy cruisers. Lots of turns stop and goes. You can see the cruiser shaking badly as the pursuit continued. Another thing is the cops are weakling when they alone😂

Back in the late 90s I did 163MPH on an empty highway. These guys in chargers with all their power seem to have trouble breaking 140. Imagine your family was driving down the road and ran head on into that trooper going the wrong way. Amazing how little regard the ASP have for citizens safety.

Amazing getaway in a V6 I definitely thought that he would get caught at first but the ending really surprised me.
Don’t try to play the victim, you got counter-TVI’ed, plain and simple. You started it, he finished it. You took the risk and you lost.

Low end torque from the V6 White Charger to reach 100 mph quicker than the Police Charger. White Charger tops out around 115-117 mph, Police Charger catches up gracefully being able to hit 130+ mph. White Charger plays impressive defense against the Police Charger preventing the PIT/TVI. Police Charger has no clue how to maneuver around the defense. Looking like some ARCA out there. White Charger is lighter than the Police Charger, brake checking and juking the Police Charger multiple times. Police Charger finally reaches a chance to PIT/TVI White Charger, White Charger hits the brake juke again, Police Charger attempted the PIT/TVI but failed since the brake juke was successful from the White Charger. Police Charger loses control at 100 mph and fly across the wires fence median and wrecks out. White Charger knew the limits of the vehicle and beat out the Officer in that 1v1 battle.

To all naysayers and critics, thus trooper did everything he could ... As a trooper, there are guidelines to stay within, and he stayed within them. The perp here obviously has nothing to lose .... Tiller is young and has only been a trooper since late December of last year, he’ll learn and improve.
As a former officer i know it looks like the trooper had a few times he could have put the okey dokey on this cat but believe you me, its not that easy !!! But i must also say he needs a bit more training and not worry about his car being damaged , and we saw what happens when you let the pursuit go on !!!
