  • In this video we take you along for the ride on our trip to Mopars at the Park show in Stillwater, Minnesota! This one is quite the adventure and only Part 1, look forward to seeing part 2 next weekend.
    We start out at an estate sale in Montana we heard about a while ago and have been wanting to come out and take a look. The gentleman who owned the stuff had over 400 cars when the estate began, they are now down to around 200. We found a bunch of good parts to buy and are thinking about buying a few of the vehicles as well. After that we traveled to our friend Matt's OG Mopar dealer near Chinook, Montana to look at a 1964 Dodge 880 ex California Highway Patrol car he just purchased. Think we might be taking that one home soon. Then we travel to Eastern Montana to look at a 1967 Dodge W200 Power Wagon we have been trying to buy for several years. After tracking the truck down (which was NOT easy) we purchase the rig. It is a 1967 Dodge with an LA 318 (I call it a 318 Poly in the video, oops, lets see if anybody catches that) that runs and drives. It has 45,000 original miles with original paint! Looking forward to getting this one home so we can play with it.

    I second all the comments about exploring those crazy old yards full of all kinds of absolutely amazing Mopar goodness. I'm so jealous, and hearing your expertise in deciphering all the mess is super cool and informative. Your comment about copying Jamie? Who cares? You both have great video personalities, and sharing a few styles considering you work together is just natural. Keep it Up!

    Check the wood blocks under the bed in that Power Wagon. Mine were rotted out and from my understanding, they came from the factory with oak blocks. It'll definitely help with the rattles. That PW looks pretty good, some detailing should spiff it up. They're awesome 4 bys and they will run in any terrain with the grunt of the granny gear. Nice haul.

      That was the last of the “forward look” cars too, basically the same as the 60 models and they really had stuff figured out. They had the “ram” suspension with sway bar, bigger t bars, and the giant strut rods. They really had them figured out by then.

      These cars still exist because of people like this who gathered them up years ago , otherwise they would have been junked long ago.

      @rocketresto  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Understand what you are saying. Most wrecking yards that still exist were eccentric people who owned them who saved this stuff. Always want to see these cars taken care of but they also wouldn’t be here most likely if this guy didn’t save them but also a lot of these are about to head to the crusher.

    Wow, I was really hoping you'd walk all the way around that beige A100 van at about the 31 minute mark. It was one of those really rare ones that also had the side doors on the driver's side. I noticed this while you were pointing your camera in through the passenger door (pause the video at 31:18 and you can clearly see the chrome inside latch handle).

    The cab on that crew cab is worth the trouble of dragging that truck out. As im sure you know the first 3 years of crew cabs were coachbuilt, supposedly by Creative. Pretty rare early dual headlight cab. Obviously it would fit any d-series, or a good base for a resto mod. Unfortunately due to crew cab hype, things like that are going to be all thats left soon.

      Oh I ment the wheel covers, I have a set of those that you showed in that yard, I have also seen them on some RR too that were slightly different, always wonder what year they were for. They came with my 68 charger. I also had a set of simulated magnum wheel covers that didn’t come on my charger I sold to a guy who was restoring a 1968 GTS for $100. I’m looking for a set of NOS deluxe deep dish wheel covers for my charger. I have the set that came with my car there not bad.
