I was a ‘hobby painter’. I used a GTi Pro Lite. It is soo much easier to get nicer finishes, with good looking peel. 100% worth the money, and they have good used prices if you want to sell it later.
G'day, I'm a diy painter at home. I use the Devilbiss GTI PRO Lite and the PRO lite mini. These still do the work for me. I lov your channel Mr Gunman. Thanks for sharing the knowledge. ✌️ Peace
I am a fan of SATA. HOWEVER: I wish the special editions SATA makes would be fully covered like this. Just the sides are coated. The front and back(whatever we call the edges) are always just covered in what looks like over spray.
I know, but it's very difficult to do those wraps, the fact that SATA can even do what they can is impressive. That's from what I know, I've heard from Chris who has tried to get some designs done on other manufacturers guns, but ultimately it turns out it's really difficult
I bought a prolite an its a very good gun does a very good job but my comment isn't about the guy. It's about the clear coat run remove using body filler that trick you shared save me alot or money an work thank you very much Gunny.
I have Dv1 with c1 cap, I was looking into getting the c2 cap but I end up buying the series 2 iwata supernova which sprays different from the original one, but I love it because I can move much faster with the series 2
That is one beautiful looking DV1 Gunny I love the design and detail they have got on the gun BUT!!!😁we need a Gunman edition DV1 PLEASE!!!😁you got a really nice finish from that gun the bonnet looks like glass👌 Sorry Gunny but I am that person, I'm a hobby/diy painter that has a set of DV1 guns and the X5500 with the CC setup, the WS400 Series2 a couple of GTI Pro and ProLite's and the Fuji MP-V8🤦♂yep I have far to many guns but what the hell I love them🤭🙏👍John UK
No way at all. Potentially this one but look into the specs. Ani Compact, but cross reference the CFM or LPM on the website with the output of your compressor. www.spraygunsdirect.co.uk/product/devilbiss-flg5-spray-gun/#bcdc/mobile/m=and&q=compact
Why do so many spray painters have such big ego? I’m not even in the car industry but I have met so many people with the same script: “believe me, I’ve been doing it for 30+ years” or “I’m the best and my way is the only way”. I’m like, bro chill you’re just a painter with god complex 🤦🏻♂️I’m glad for people like you Gunman that are humble and happy to share your experience with others. If wasn’t for the very few like you I’d have never learned how to paint anything. Cheers legend
The one I got here is clear, I do know there were very limited numbers on this model. All I can recommend is emailing Chris at info@spraygunsdirect.co.uk sometimes they have a few spares they don't list. So it's worth a shot. Or you could search their site for another style, they have some cool limited edition guns at the moment like the old and new school editions.
@@lecheekspreader9815 spraygunsdirect.co.uk but it appears that they've sold out, have a look there they do have some other awesome limited edition guns
@@TheGunmanChannel I have had both of these guns since they came on the market...My Iwata's and my Sagola blow them out of the water.I'm in a high end production shop we paint fast and steady.I been doing this 35 years painted every brand none to man PPG certified trust me when i say their slow their slow. They sit in my lock,if they were a fast gun i would be using them...Now with that said they are a nice gun just to slow for my facility.

The Walcom sprays nice but always have issues with them. The digital guage is always screwing up and the guns leak air for no apparant reason. @travlite8496
Hey gunny, as a subscriber, trying to get in touch with Spraygunsdirect but not answering my emails/FB messenger reach outs to order some guns for here in the states...if you have a contact there and a discount code that would be helpful, best -

DV1's always look amaaaaazing, with performance to match. I'd love to see you review a Porphis 717 at some point.
They details in the images do look sick. Hell yea gotta love watching a gunny vid after work with a coldy 🤘
Has anyone got any experience on how long the digital gauges last? It’s an expensive replacement for a flat battery!
what would 24Litre compressor be able to run this gun?

Why are all the comments so negative. Looks a fantastic gun, in fact thinking of getting one myself.
I know it's weird, and we're giving one away 😆
How can u win it ?
What a beautiful gun 🔫😮 I have a harbor freight 15 doller 1.5 nozel gun😮. But on a small compressor it's reliable.
How much holidays do you get in Australia 🏴
usually 4 weeks a year

Great Video. Very great looking gun. The finish looks amazing.
You say the sagola has a small fan but you push the flg5 which has a small fan as well but you like that one. Which one is it playboy? Lol
Big difference playboy, $200 vs $700+

When I click the purchase link it says basecoat gun but dv1 also has clear coat guns is this a clear coat version?
