That’s just starting price.. that’s not adding any additional options lol that is a lot of money . That was like tundra prices back in 2018
Now we’re paying tundra prices on tacomas. Just wait until the 4Runners get redesigned and how much they’ll be.

Paying over 35 for a 4cylinder and iver 50 for a 6cylinder is just insane on these new mid-size and full-size tucks

I'm sure that the new Tacoma is great but I'm very happy with my 2023 TRD Sport Access Cab V6. I've had it a year now and no complaints.

Eh, my brother has a loaded 22 and I can't believe how shitty it feels with the 3.5 and transmission that feels subpar. I'd much rather have that turbo torque that peaks at 1700rpm. The 3.5 is fine in my 2013 is350 but in a heavier truck it blows.

@@ruthnoya8424 Feels perfectly fine to me. And I was driving a 5.7L V8 before. This would be awesome if it was a turbo diesel like the Hilux but turbo gasser? Hard pass.
It looks nice, but I'll keep my 2022 red Tacoma SR5 V6 the engine purrs, no problems at all. This is my third Toyota. I love it! Merry Christmas! 🛻🛻🎄🎄
Do you know if they also shrunk the gas tank on the trailhunter?

Is the seating position greatly improved? Or is it just slightly improved like if you put some seat jackers in ? Seating position is my biggest complaint with my 21 OR definitely torture if you are driving it more than a couple hours.
From everything I’ve seen in reviews, it’s like night and day better

The 2024 SR5 has some upgrades compared to my 2022 SR5 RWD DCSB MGM. I wonder if they have these in manual for the SR5. I like the front heated seats, wireless AppleCarplay, bed looks taller, and 4WD. One thing I don’t like is the manual front seats adjuster. If my son decides to get my Tacoma, I would buy the 2024 SR5 Tundra.
No stick SR5. Can only be had in SR, Sport, and Offroad. All crew cabs.
I don’t know if I’m feeling that front bumper
When are the 2024’s going to show up at dealerships?

@@Toyotajeff I just took my ‘21 Taco in for service. 55,000 miles. Transmission and oil change. 6-speed manual. Just can’t get into the idea of a turbo, because eventually - ALL TURBOS go out, and that ain’t a cheap fix. Who knows.
Is the iforce engine means hybrid? Is hybrid available on SR5?
It will be soon. I heard my dealer expects them in a month or two.
I payed 38k out the door for a fully loaded TRD off-road in 2017. The same trim for 2024 is going to be $10,000 more after comparable options, plus whatever absurd markup dealers decide to tack on. I’m finding it hard to justify the expense of upgrading to the 4th gen taco when mid trim level prices are on par with competitors top teer models and full size pickups.
Marksups seem to be over thank goodness.
2024 upgrades are different from your 2017 tacoma. That's why prices are high.
That's called inflation, you probably made less in 2017.
@@oleksandrk4853 yeah I was just pointing out that a $20k price hike in 6ish years is crazy even with inflation. Decided to bite the bullet though, 24 off-road will be here in the next few weeks. Hopefully. Mentally preparing for the $75k 5th gen down the road.

They did not take into account that people have to wash all those nooks and crannies! Way to many ! 2023 looks way better!
I’ll have to see how well that fits a 90lb German shepherd in the back.
Hopefully someone will lease one and in three to four years I can pick it up for below $20K with only 36-48k miles
You are on crack if you think that's ever gonna happen. Maybe in 15 years ull find one under 20k with 150k miles.

Jeff, please tell us that was a prototype. No more standard power seat on SR5 would be bad.

The TRD Sport will be the value price point and likely the highest volume.

Not a fan of that passenger center console grab bar. My wife always puts her purse in that position.
The only way i would pay these prices for this new tacoma is if someone was going to push me off a cliff if i didn't buy it. I don't think toyota realizes that most people think 50k plus is a lot of money that they would rather use other places instead of on something that the newness wears off quick.

It is certainly true that Toyota trucks and cars are in the high end pricing, but the old saying “you get what you pay for” and remember a Tacoma truck will always certainly fetch a greater reale price. Think about the longevity and quality that goes into each car and you know the Toyota product will last 15+ years minimum with a high resale value. Unfortunately, too many people look at the new car initial price only. Think out all the variables and quality of the car out before purchasing. Right now for trucks Toyota is king of the hill. Good luck with your car purchases.
Don’t seem to see how this is an upgrade from the SR
SR auto has a weaker engine. Same turbo 4 but less hp and torque, 228 hp and 243 lb-ft. Versus SR5 278 hp and 317 lb-ft. That's a good boost if you plan to tow heavy loads.

By that logic the tundra v8 pulls more than a 6 cylinder cummins (it doesn't) less cylinders doesn't mean weaker
Get rid of that ugly plastic black front bumper trim. Should’ve had a nice metal skid plate on there.
Upgrade? No V6 = no sale. Toyota has abandoned the strongest sales feature of keep it simple stupid reliability. So very sad and misguided.
