this little Corsa came in for mot and wouldn't pass the emissions on Futher diagnostic tests unfound that the timing chain was stretched and the Loeb's on the camshafts were pretty much worn away which caused the vehicle to run erratically. I also removed the sump and found excessive sludge in the bottom which I'm putting down to excessive short journeys. new timing chain and a pair of camshafts the car now sounds perfect and flew through the emissions test.

I’ve followed this vid meticulously over the last week, put everything back together and now it won’t start and no compression on one cylinder. 😩 I’ve got a feeling someone was in there before as the top chain guide had loose bolts. Is it possible to get these 180 out? I used the same timing tool as in this vid and everything lines back up to what it was before. But not it won’t run. ive changed lifters and rockers too.
