Hi I have vauxhall astra 1.4 2012 .i have P0011 and P0017 camshaft and crank possition blank 1 and car is kind off dead not starting.garrage is saying I need to replace the timing belt. My question is that one problem for both of is that gonna solve my problem ?
Hi, I’ve got a Vauxhall Corsa 2008 just noticed that oil in the coolant and the timing chain noisy could it be the gasket behind the timing chain that’s leaking into the coolant or is it the head gasket? Call doesn’t overheat any help with the pre-appreciated.
Would appreciate anyone's help with my Corsa 2012 ecoflex 1.0L. Taken it to 2 garages and still not resolved. It has an intermittent starting issue. Sometimes at first crank it just turns and not starts. Though always fires immediately on second try. It idles and drives fine. No codes. Recent timing chain I had rechecked by garage. No one seems to have a clue. Just wonder if someone had this issue and how they fixed it? Car drives fine and apart from the starting issue no problems. As I said it always starts the second time and sometimes the first.
@@bazmeredith what do I have to do to get the cams out like what do I need . I have the locking tool and all the other bits but is it just as simple as locking the sprocket into place and undoing a bolt .
I cjang3d my timing chain but i think i moved my camshaft roybd a little as my bar was bent afyer i finished The car is all back together now Do i have to remove the chain to adjust the cams back into position. When i had finished they both had turned left a bit as the bar had bent uo one said and down on the other side. Before i did this job everything was all okay I rrally don't want to remove the cover again
@bazmeredith I checked the car again and started it up but I now have a p0016 and p0017 code in pending So does this mean my timing has moved a little bit It still starts up and sounds ok I reset them so that's why they are now in pending

Customer very lucky those plastic guide parts didn’t cause any serious damage . Very professional approach Baz
Done the job exactly how I would do it. I would have you working in my garage mate. Top job
Really appreciate this 🤙
Excellent video Baz. How do you clean the spilt oil around the tank? What is the best stuff to use to clean this?
what is the need for loosening and retightening the camshaft pickups if they already align with the tool?
Hi baz, great informative video. How much is it for corsa timing chain parts and labour?
How much does a job like this cost?
Hi baz, would you normally not take the sump off? I've heard people have trouble with alignment of the oil pump if the sump is left on? Thanks
