    I added the 30cc to the front forks. Rode 2 practice sessions on it so far...
    I do notice the read pogo’s a bit coming into braking bumps hard on the brakes. And it does lock up easily in the rear, and makes it hard to fall into the shallow ruts like you said. I want to do that 240mm swap you said. I never had issues with the pogo’ing and the rear walking over ruts like my 2016 KX250F. I guess I can swap the stuff from that and try it

    A Ride Engineering link makes this bike even better. The rear sits lower and the bike works better at speed. The ergos for me were nearly perfect. I am 5'-11. I run the pegs low/back, and the bars 2nd farthest forward. The stock bar bend was fine. Get a 2018 brake carrier, a smaller rear disc, and chop the pads to weaken the rear brake so you can use it for controlling the bike attitude. Best bike I have ever ridden. It does EVERYTHING well. Feels incredibly light under you. One thing I have noticed is you can cross the front up, and nothing happens. I have been in really rough stuff, and touched the front down all crossed up, and fully expected the front to either just wash out or knife resulting in a bad crash. NOTHING happens. The bike just does nothing. The front straightens up...and you just keep going. I have done this at least 4 times in the last month...and every time I do it (mistake on my part) I expect to crash...based on past experience with any other bike. Every time, the front never washes out or knifes...it just straightens up and keeps going. It does stall kind of easy for woods/trail riding. I have two separate sets suspension. 1 for Des/Woods (Precision Concepts), one for MX Track (FC)

    Have a 19, 52 year old beginner/novice, 200 5'10". literally have an hour on the bike and can agree the bars are funky. This is the first bike I've owned where the rear spring was stiff out the gate. Front end feels fine and I used Pings guide to start but. at 105MM Sag I have 47MM free sag. Wonder if this creates that overloading feeling in the front. I have to go down a spring to get the right sag and candidly that's a first for me. thoughts?

    So, basically you're saying that if one adds a little oil to the forks, adjust clickers and swap the handlebars, it would be a near perfect bike (for most people)? Or maybe even put a little stronger springs in front. BTW, I agree with everyone... wow, that is a HUGE muffler (ugly), I would change that, too. Anyway, it seems like this bike just needs little changes.

      andreas stefanou I talk about the oil volume multiple times in this video and what my recommendation is for it. I do recommend adding oil to the forks but in the shootout we did not do it during the test due to it not coming off the showroom floor like that. But I did do it to my personal 19 model.

    • @andreasstefanou5898
      @andreasstefanou5898 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @MichaelLindsay  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Motomania128 you can with a syringe in the bleed screw hole. I’d add 10ccs to each leg to start, try that and you can go up 5ccs at a time till you hit the sweet spot.

    • @motomania1287
      @motomania1287 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I personally own the 2019 and love it. Btw, would paring a P.C. muffler with the stock header do anything for performance? I personally like the performance of stock header and muffler, but the PC muffler seems to be the best looking hehe. I just don’t want to break my subframe and find that stock/stock is better anyway :)
