these steps have just worked for me after weeks of trying! press f2 to enter bios, f7 for advanced mode then select advanced and enabled internal pointing devices.
Guys its a Driver bug maybe you guys can save a lot of time if you follow my steps. I just solved the issue from the video 2:52 there Right click on the (I2C HID Device) just Disable and Enable the driver the problem will be solved. (shortcut to enter the settings :- Press (Windows icon) key and ( X ) button there left side select Device Manager) that’s it guys ;) thankyou sry for my bad english
Mine worked when I went into bios, it was enabled but touchpad was not working still, I disabled and enabled it again and saved and exit and my PC shutted down. Then I hit the power button again and boila, it started working!.
I have just met this problem. And I go to > Device Manager > Human Interface Device > Right Click on I2C HID Device > Update > and Check for update when It display Check for Update on window update page. Then I wait for 20mn for having update finished and Restart. Then go to setting > Touchpad Setting and Enable Touchpad. Good luck!
My laptop was always stuck in Bios Utility Ez Mode, so I gave the laptop to a friend and he installed windows 10 for me. But the mouse pad was not working anymore. What worked for me was to go to settings>device manager>security and updates> and click install to all pending updates. Once the laptop restarted, I did hold FN+F11 and the touch pad was finally on :) works fine now!

bro u have to to update the driver ... if u have update it or it is not working then u have to download it manually form the company site then install it then done ... i have same problem now it is fix .... by using this process

Try updating all kind of drivers from asus website. right click and click scan hardware changes if u can't see asus anything in the device manager which u believe should be there.

its a bit odd but my fix for my fx505dy is to remove the touchpad flex cable and scratch the contact points until its gold (kinda)again on both ends so it would be clean enough to detect the touchpad itself.
I tried uninstalling , upaditing drivers all of them but nothing was working, one time i accidentally put laptop to the sleep using fn+f11 and then after some time again pressed fn+f11 to wake it up and my touchpad was working again. I thought that might just be like but, this keep happening to me and i fix it every time using sleep methon its been 4-5 time till now and everytime sleep method worked for me, (if not working try plugging in laptop then put to sleep then unplug and then wake it up) Hope it might help somebody cause its really annoying how touchpad just suddely doesn't work

My touchpad is working fine but it is wobbling a little bit up and down. I don't know if it's an issue or it's a normal thing, as I can also click on the trackpad by pressing it down hard yo have a clicky feedback (just like in MacBooks).

When you change the settings from bios it works for a short period of time within that time just go to devices and enable the touchpad it worked for me bro

This happened when I accidentally disabled the touchpad, and after that I can't enable it anymore using the same function key but before, I can enable it again by using the same function key. In advance mode of BIOS utility, check if the internal pointing device is enabled or disabled. It should be enabled for touchpad to work.

We encountered a problem installing drivers for your device krke aa rha and 12C HID Device kae andar This device cannot start aa rha hai
bro u have to to update the driver ... if u have update it or it is not working then u have to download it manually form the company site then install it then done ... i have same problem now it is fix .... by using this process
-Press Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Human Interface Device
-Look for HID Touchpad driver that was installed
-Right click and Update
-Look for "Browse my computer for driver
-Let me pick drivers available drivers
-Choose an old driver and use it.

If your laptop is still under warranty period, then record a video of your problem and show it to the Asus service team.

May be its a hardware issue just open the laptop unplug and plug the touchpad ribon to the motherboard

Try bios update. If that doesnot work, pop the lower hood clean the riboon cable for track pad and stick some tape over it so it doesnot move.

Bro its just your touchpad pin is loose open the laptop reconnect the pins from both sides touchpad as well as mother board it will be fine

Same problem with me, this is issue with BIOS. When new updates came it will be solved. Otherwise after one month file case in consumer court.
