As someone who like gaming, I was very excited to get my hands on this laptop, but unfortunately, my journey with it wasn't all smooth sailing. I thought I would show you the performance in gaming but due to the graphics card issue I can't do that now. Please think twice before buying this laptop. Also, it is not necessary that the problems faced by me are being faced by other users too. I am just sharing my experience. I had a same issue with WIFI i just disconnected battery and reconnect (fix from you tube ) and it worked... TRY this if u have the same wifi issue ....it's actually problem with bios bcz reconnecting battery actually reset your bios

its wifi data card issue I had the same issue so < I went to service center they ordered Wifi data card then , he replaced it and I never had issues after that, updating driver doesn't help its actually hardware issue , u have to change the wifi card , I paid rs 3750 for it.

bro i will recommend you to clean your laptop first due to dust build inside lead to over heat and i am also thinking to buy asus tuf f 15 i5 12gen,Rtx3050,etc. i see all the reviews and it seem ok to me but do you have any other suggestion which are not mention in your videos?
bro i have tried everything. I cleaned the fans too and still nothing happened. Also I watched all the reviews too before buying it but now i regret buying Asus tuf. People don't talk much about these problems on youtube but when you will search about this online you will see the forums where a lot of people are facing the same problem. I have been searching for a solution for 6 months. I am not a hard core gamer so I am not too worried about the games not running cuz everything else is working fine. But there are times when you want to play games and it hurts to know that spending so much money over this gaming laptop was not worth it.

I also have asus f15 i5 and gtx 1650 one in which i am facing wifi disconnect gaming performance is also decreasing
So final thing who are facing issues
Reinstall windows.
Resinstall all the drivers from asus store.
Then perform a hard reset (plug out battery internally, I solved wifi problem this way)
THEN, disable automatic driver installation in windows, (windows update is fine, the driver update can be disable from some settings).
Also if it overheats, it will reduce the gpu power limit to like 18-20w you have to set bios to optimized defaults in bios menu, it will fix it, everytime this happens you have to do this bios step.
I had this laptop for about 5 months "i selled it" I don't have any wifi related issues, but there where some software issue and i got a blue screen one time , and the main problem is heating, even in small games it heats very High, then i tried turning off the gpu , that helps to reduce half of the heating issue while gaming, i recommend not to buy asus products rather go for lenovo or msi

I brought asus tuf f15 2050rtx it's been 6 months .turbo mode only works on charging mode without turbo mode huge fps drops in games.and many small issues but still at 45k best gaming laptop turbo mode is rampage mode for gaming and normal usage also perfect

@@buster1764 idil without using wifi network and putting laptop to silent mode with eco mode then it will converted to normal laptop from gaming laptop means eco mode and silent will convert gaming laptop into normal laptop so in this case battery backup up to 3 to 5 hours
Bhai fix for fatal error bohot eassy hai...... agar steam se game run kar raha hai to launch options mai "-d3d11" daal dena. Game DirectX12 use karna chahta hai, but system support nahi karta isliye error aa raha hai. Isliye directx11 use karne bolna hai usko

But then again I got my lesson that it is way better to build a pc instead of spending on this shit. But I just bought it cuz I may have to travel in future. And also, because I just wanted a gaming laptop with good graphics card for once. But anyways, I can't do anything about it now. I think it's actually stupid spending so much money on a laptop, especially a gaming laptop when you're not a gamer.

This is not laptop’s fault, new Windows 11 is giving this error to many users. Same problem with me when I installed windows 11, WiFi icon was disappearing…even now it happens sometimes, no permanent fix and also can’t rollback to Windows 10. Just use USB tethering if needed.
The Fix :- Go to Device Manager, under Network Adapter find your faulty driver goes with name “Intel …..” or any other. Just disable then enable it or update the driver and then restart your PC.
@@rd7501 I already did it. Disabling and unabling the driver doesn't work. Uninstalling it didn't work too. I did it for both nvidia and Intel. Well it might be windows 11 problem. Because I never switched back to windows 10 after updating to 11. But we can't be sure about whether it was windows problem
@@Abhishek-zq6hf Because I checked my Wireless connection using CMD when WiFi disappeared, it was working fine. So it was not hardware fault (in my case) & many W11 users on Reddit/Discord/youtube complained the same. I used my Laptop before and after W11, surely this problem began after W11.

Bro you need to clean your laptop, the wifi card is beneath the SSD of the laptop so if you do hardcore gaming and that's the time when SSD got heat up and it starts malfunctioning the wifi card so that's the reason your wifi got invisible so to solve this simply open your laptop and clean the SSD and clean the heatsink of SSD and make sure to clean ram like dusts and all then afterwards it'll work fine , it happened to me but now it works flawless
Sorry but i have the same laptop but my touchpad is a little different it's a full touchpad it doesn't have those two extra buttons below it i keep hearing that nividia gpu's are garbage no matter which one you get and that amd gpu's are better mine has a nividia gforce rtx 4070 graphics card intel core i7 1tb of memory plus room for expansion

No, wifi not need to be changed, u can just hold down the power button and it will be auto repaired
Low level fatal error is also caused due to missing files in games, try reinstalling the game or try running it in Compatibility Mode. I think at this price its better to go for a 4050 laptop instead of a 3060 with 6gb vram
@@PeaNUT-oz6jx I did all that but I don't think that's the issue. I downloaded all the games from epic store. I even downloaded some games from steam. The issue is definitely in the gpu

Glad to know that it's actually going to people's feeds. About Acer nitro 5, my friend bought i5 11 gen rtx 3050 3 years ago and it's still working fine. Yesterday only he told me about how he played Rdr2 and other games in it. So in my opinion it is a good laptop.

@@viraj9515 bro as you mentioned in your earlier comment you can go with HP victus or Lenovo slim 3. You can also check LOQ, I saw 1-2 people saying that it works fine but some have issues too. Asus tuf will also work fine for coding. But then again I won't recommend it cuz of my bad experience. Tbh I am not into coding but I think these laptops will work fine when it comes to coding. But since every laptop has some issue in it. So just check some reviews of people who have been using these laptops for at least 2-3 years. Ther eight be people like me who have put reviews of their laptops after 2 years of use. I would ask a few of my friends if they have any of these and how the laptops are working. I'll inform you if I get anything useful.

i don't understand what u r saying as i don't speak hindi. i have the same laptop and it's working fine till now. once it overheated due to too much dust gathered in the fan and it got damaged, luckily it was under warranty and i replaced the fan for free. if ur laptop is under warranty take it to nearby asus showroom. and explain ur issue to them. also i recommend u using a good cooler if u r facing too much heating issue.
@@giriplayz9874 hi. I am talking about the issues I faced in this laptop. You see at first I had this wifi related issue for which the Asus agent told me that the wifi reader or card needs to be changed. And this happened within a month of buying. I refused and instead updated the windows to 11 since I was earlier using 10. The issue got resolved. Then after a few months I faced keyboard related issue where the keys stopped working and some had cross connection between them . Pressing a key would press another with it. It was under warranty at that time. But I had my exams and since taking to the service centre meant that I won't be getting the laptop back for a long time since I am aware of Asus service, I decided to let it be. And the problem got resolved on its own after a few months. Then last year a major issue occured. By this time the laptop warranty was over. So like i installed a game and when I played it it showed low fatal error or D3D device failure. I installed another game which crashed and blue screen error occured. This happened with every game no matter how small the game is. This was something that I didn't get a solution to. And this issue is being faced by a lot of people. I saw many online forums where people couldn't find the solution to this problem. So I am just telling people about this stupid laptop and all the issues I faced with it. Especially this rtx 3060 variant. Bought it from flipkart and the seller is a fraud. Only one guy is selling this rtx 3060 variant on flipkart and he's just fooling people by giving them faulty laptops. In the video I recommend people not to buy this particular variant. But many comments said that they are facing such issues too even though they have rtx 3050. Also, now the laptop has stopped working completely. You can watch my latest video about this on my channel. I think it's a motherboard issue. I know you won't be able to understand anything I say in this latest video but atleast you will be able to see what problem I am facing. Regarding that heating issue, yeah that's pretty common in this garbage laptop. And I am glad yours is working fine now. I hope it works fine in future too. Also, I'm sorry for such a lengthy reply😅

I never used gaming laptop much i am a PC Gamer yet fatal error is something to be caused by CPU not GPU generally.
Intel 13th and 14th gen 100% shouldn't be a factor as it is a 11thb .
CPU generally runs the game load things manage programms objects and mechanics.
GPU load texture rasterisation display it does what CPU tells.
Fatal error is generally CPU issue.
However it can be anything motherboard your memory your storage if the laptop is working there's less chances of motherboard.
What type of fatal error
Fatal error it give you a errors copy that and check for it.

And window event viewer it gives detailed snd simplified understanding of error and logs of errors happening over w year check for he error and try fixing them

i have this one and using it for 2 years daily usage is about 12-17 hours, I di play valorant daily for minimum 6 hours and gta v, elden ring, callisto protocol, arkham knight, uncharted the lost legacy, shadow of the tomb raider, detroit become human and it works soo good.

The reason i choose Hp Pavallion Gaming, Firstly i also considered this one at 66k but then i went with Pavallion 62k but i was lucky so i got it on sale

Me with lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3 GTX 1650 ,mujhe ise buy kiye 1 saal se jyada hogya but sirf ek issue mujhe mil rha from the beginning..games me graphics ke edges like grass trees environment etc looks blurry with jagged edges I tried every settings through control panel but didn't fix it 😢else everything is working fine ,also blurry issues gets fixed when I play on 1440p but it lags alot

You can watch my latest video where I have talked about the recent motherboard issue due to which the laptop is not turning on. Also, you can go with Acer or Dell or Lenovo. Asus tuf is not a good option to be honest. Some may disagree with me but there are many facing the same issues. You can see the comments section jahan bhot log complain kar rhe hain. Aur battery backup iska 1 hr tak ka mil jata hai. Agar kuch productive karna hai aur mainly gaming nhi karni. Bas casual gaming karni hai to koi aur laptop dekh skte ho. Meri wali galti mat karna.
The only problem is from asus software, ie Armoury Crate. It is buggy software and some users uninstalled and using alternate github software ghelper. Which can removes all problems from performance.

1 problem were found is the fan.
Only on 11th gen powered processsor series
When you are using on battery mode. The fan doesnt turn on under 60 deg celsius and its too slow speed (fan). And we cannot turn the fan mode to turbo mode in Armoury crate app.
And if we plugged it in charger. The fan always on
And even at BIOS that option is not available "FAN always On".
Even HP have these options at BIOS.
Thats the only problem from this

@@yashrathore7079 bro this is actually the first thing I thought when the games started crashing. I was facing this eco and balanced mode problem in the beginning when the graphics card option suddenly disappeared. It was not showing the graphics card anywhere. So in that case we can check in the armoury crate if the mode has changed. But this is a different problem. Here the graphics card is also showing unlike that mode issue where it disappears and shows that the graphics card is missing. And I even reset the windows and did all the things I could to make sure that it's not a software issue. So yeah it's definitely the gpu's fault or maybe the motherboard issue. But now th Laptop isn't turning on at all. I have made a separate video on this channel on that
Yes this issue can be solved, I have done many things to solve it but finally did it.
But to be honest this laptop will give you a headache many times

Brother you can try these once, you might not need to do the windows install thing but clean install drivers
So final thing who are facing issues
Reinstall windows.
Resinstall all the drivers from asus store.
Then perform a hard reset (plug out battery internally, I solved wifi problem this way)
THEN, disable automatic driver installation in windows, (windows update is fine, the driver update can be disable from some settings).
Also if it overheats, it will reduce the gpu power limit to like 18-20w you have to set bios to optimized defaults in bios menu, it will fix it, everytime this happens you have to do this bios step.
Well I'm not sure, but it may give you wifi problem again so don't touch the wifi drivers if it works fine
Other steps can be performed as well, I have encountered problems in wifi because windows automatically installed updated drivers that were incompatible, same for Bluetooth happened as well.

About victus, a few people in the comments section are not satisfied with it. And regarding IdeaPad slim 3 , I heard a few people have faced hinge related issues in it. If it's possible you can go with Acer nitro or Lenovo IdeaPad gaming in case you are looking for gaming laptops. My friends experience with these laptops has been really good. But then again there's no guarantee that these laptops will always work fine. That's why I would suggest that you watch reviews of these laptops and that too from someone who has already been using these for like at least 2 years. I am not into coding so I can't help you with that right now. But I think these laptops will work fine for coding. So just watch some reviews regarding the problems in these laptops. I will try to ask a few of my friends if anyone has HP or Lenovo IdeaPad slim and will inform you about it.

Hey bro i have asus tuf i5 10 gen bought in decem 2021 i also get this issue several times but just restart the laptop and it will solve automatically.. this issue is mainly because of cheap wifi card used in the laptop provided by mediatek.

You should've waited sometime, asus launched 2022 models in a new style and new thermal management, they are much more better, I bought TUF R7 6800H, 3060. 2022 version. Faced nothing till now, it has been 2 years. Only once the bluetooth was gone for a little bit but it was fixed by a driver update in My Asus.

I have the same laptop but with the 2050 model. It's been 9 months, and there have been no issues! It works fine.
Just an FYI, I uninstalled Windows 11 Home and installed a pirated version of Windows 10 Pro because I didn't like the native Windows 11.
Although I had to reinstall all the drivers, I think my warranty is void now.
But after adding the relevant drivers, it's working fine.

at that time (in 2022) i saw Rog was available at 94-95 k and i thought if i was getting 3060 with TUF at 84k then i should buy it . Now originally i had a budget of 75k only but i thought of spending some more and buy this laptop. Since the reviews were also good. Also, I wanted to go with intel processors. And i couldn't find ROG with intel processor with such good specs at that price.
I recently purchased Asus Rog strix g16(Intel core i9 13980 hx and rtx 4060) in less then a month my laptop CPU and GPU overheats too much and sometimes while opening games screen turns off and now it's trackpad also malfunctioned several times as well as it has minor screen bleeding issue.
bhai there is only onesolution for his that you go to setting go to game mode and add your game then set graphics preference to your graphics named rtx 1650 and second method is to use power plan setting create power plan in settings and the choose high performance
if this method not fix that refer to youtube by searching your error but if that not fix its than its your motherboard problem..
My friend uses a tuf too and he is not satisfied glad I got legion lol
