- I've just got a new C-Scope 990XD metal detector, it's a non-motion machine,
it might be an older model but the discrimination is highly underrated.

😮 that is so cool! Never saw one of those before. Really has been an eye-opener watching your channel and learning how analog machines disc out iron and aluminum. Now I know why those hunters of the past found so many great items with those older machines.

No problem, you can order one direct from C-Scope metal detectors and there are online stores that stock them
I really wish I could figure out how to get a C Scope here in the USA. I'm dying to get my hands on that 1220XD
I don't think they're sold over there, their non-motion machines a re very good

My old whites detector was TR or no motion machine. Is this cscope a TR machine also? I might need to drag out my old machine. Thanks for your videos, very interesting. Thanks Jim

Good old C Scope. Been flying the flag for the once 'Great' Britain for years. My goodness, if only we could see the total accumulative genuine historical finds un-earthed by C Scope users, eh.
Went out yesterday and a buddy of mine showed up and I had 7 detectors with me and he looked at me Tesoro Cibola picked it up and said is this like a toy detector? I said let's walk over here to your mom's old home place that was tore down and growed up in trees and weeds we cleared some area best we could where he remembered the walk way and door being and found 4 wheat pennies amongst nails galore and other trash. He was impressed I was able to skip the junk while dialing thumbing the discrimination knob.
More importantly, he got to keep those Wheat pennies his grandfather once carried

A question, does it work the same with the 6mxi? I might be able to buy one that has been stock for years. Greatings djkam
Hi I've never used a 6mxi, the 990XD is a very unique unit because it's non-motion, the MXI series will go deeper than the XD detectors
Ok, if and when i get it i'll try it out and give notice.
Not to beat a dead horse, but Nokta makes good detectors no doubt. But I spent an hour trying to get the Legend to hit a dime with a horse shoe bent old nail that I found a Wheat Penny by and I'm tell you what, I spent 30 to 40 minutes trying to get it to hit the dime. Took out the Vaquero in 20 seconds it is setup and detecting the dime in the bent nail with the big coil. Who in the heck is going to spend the time trying to figure out how to get these multi-frequency machines to discriminate and work through the trashy areas. I'm wanting to detect not F around playing with the computer. I think these manufacturers are putting to much infences on depth or running on a beach and lost sight on discrimination. What good is depth if the computers on these units are averaging wrong. NOKTA just get the detectors to work in iron and other trash and not take a degree to set the detector up to do it, not just Nokta all these new fandangled SMF units. Maybe it's me but damn I took my Teknetics Omega 8000, Fisher F5 and 2 Tesoros a Fisher F70 and they all can hit the dime all the way around or 3/4 the way around. I'll keep plugging away I need the smaller coil to try on the Legend. But the Tesoro hit it just fine.
Hi Rick I hear you but it's all pretty simple, these digital machines aren't capable at unmasking like good analog metal detectors and there's no settings that will change that. They don't have the ability despite what the shills and physicists say, microprocessors can't emulate how the analog machines unmask. There's so many people out there that don't want to except this, hence why I get so many trolls. The modern detectors are toys and entertainment boxes they're not raw metal detectors
@paulwarrenmetaldetecting Paul recommended me the unit you most like or think would work for me in the USA, heck can't find dealers here for alot of those you demo but maybe find me a dealer to buy through in UK. You gave some good advice on the Nexus MP3, I can get one Vista X over here and some smaller coils but is it as good as the MP3 or others?
