- In this episode I am out Metal Detecting on another ploughed field in the glorious Spring Sunshine. This field has produced some interesting finds in the past however I have not been back here in some time due to crop rotation etc.
I have some help on this one guys in the shape of the one and only Mr Tweed so hopefully we can both fill our pockets with treasures of the past.

Well done on the finds.The silver thimble would be probably 200 years old or younger as its hallmarked 👍
Thanks Nick, yeah I think you’re right. I didn’t notice the hallmarks on it until I took it home and cleaned it off but I’m still very happy with it. ATB 👍👍
Sat in bed watching on my I pad. That intro, sunny fields, birds singing, the two of you walking across the field, takes me right there. Another brilliant video young man (and Mr Tweed 😁😁), and great finds. The hammered Charles I shilling is a very welcome bonus, I’ve only ever found 2 and I’ve been detecting on and off since 1978 - you do the maths. Thank you, so looking forward already to your next outing. One of the best TH-cam’s going in my personal view.😁👍

I will remember this day for along time because it was one of those days where you honestly weren’t expecting to find much only to be proved wrong. Can’t beat em mate 👍👍
Hi! What a day it was! Considering the fact that the field was pretty much dormant, I think you guys made some really good finds to compensate for that. Nice camera work, I love the nice views! I feel tempted to book a flight to your nice country again! Actually, I am still waiting for my authority permission to search on fields. Currently I am only allowed to search on kids playgrounds, parks and lawn for sunbathing (that you can do in Germany without an authority permission). Officially, I am not even allowed to search my own premises.... :P But, nevertheless, I seem to be lucky enough to be the only one with a detector in the region, so I have been able to make some good founds, even some older ones (coins, buckles, jewelry etc.). Can't wait to start searching on fertile soil like you guys! But, before that, I will just keep watching your videos, I love them! Keep pushing on!

Wonderful video again, superb camerawork and I loved watching the tractor rolling past whilst you detected! Another epic day and you trumped Mr Tweed with that superb Charlie shilling! I went detecting on Tuesday on ploughed and it is exhausting if it isn't rolled and here in Devon, the finds are more sparse, sadly. 4 silvers in one day is amazing! Were u drinking Red Bull?
