    Interesting video! I find it is much crispier to start with skin side down.

    Made me hungry again Scott. I really enjoy my crispy, juicy Ninja thighs !

    I'm guessing on the one lid 14 in 1, steam/ crisp would be similar?
    Thank you for your great videos!

    Scott, Thanks for the links to your favorite stuff.
    Sorry to tell you, but the first piece of chicken was raw and the second one was not well done :(
    It's very dangerous.

      Thank you! I was wondering how nobody seemed to know that chicken is raw. I think he knew though. Notice he didn't eat anything but the skin.

    Did I miss the review with the wireless thermometer?

    You need to put more salt and condiment.

      This test was to get very crispy chicken. I didn't want extra seasoning affecting the test. But yes for a regular dinner I would season it pretty good :) Thanks for watching!

    I'm getting this thing on Tuesday. Is there a way to shut off all the beeping? Thanks!

    • @ScottCooks
      @ScottCooks  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't know of a way to stop the beeping. I kinda like it because I often wander away and like to hear the beeps to know when to go check on it.

    Wow, I finally caught one of these videos within hours of its release. Cool. I already have the Ninja Foodi indoor grill and love it. I am thinking about adding the Soeed, so I can cook rice or pasta at the same time; or maybe air-fry a side while cooking with the other unit. Do you think both units can run at the same time in a standard kitchen? Thanks for the video. My son says I have joined the Ninja TH-cam society.

      I don’t see why not, its not like an extra large cooker where you need a special line to the electric box like we did in our last 2 houses, they don’t put ordinary plugs on those things to plug in the wall. Where as ninjas and air fryers all just have a normal plug to plug in sockets in the wall.

    Can you cook the chicken without the water? Probably have to switch to air fryer mode.

      Air fryer will work as well

    I have the Ninja Smart Lid w.the temperature probe. Using the Steam and Crisp setting wouldn’t these Chicken Thighs be as crisp and juicy?

  • @kinglord5429
    @kinglord5429 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Buy a second crisper tray it gives you more option like cooking 8 thighs keeping bottom 4 above water or anything else

    Dang, I want some chicken now. I keep watching these Ninja Speedi videos and I want one. I love my Ninja Grill but a Speedi seems like a great overall appliance. Living in Texas in triple digit heat the last thing I want to do is turn on my stove. 🥵 I am buying a Speedi today.
