The amount of tear down you have to do to fit this is mildly terrifying. I'm not quite clear - where did you run the wiring for the rear camera? through?
You are not lying. So when you remove the deck panel where the speakers go. On the passenger side corner of the glass there is hole that comunicates with the trunk. Is anout 1” hole.
this is a long shot, but i am going to try and ask, i have the same head unit, and i have lost the top home menu, and it will no longer drop the hidden menu when sliding from top down, nothing happens, also no key board when i am trying to write in text area, did anyone encounter this issue? and there a video u can send my way to trouble shoot? thanks in advance for reading my request everyone.
Have you tried reseting the unit? There are 3 holes in the buttom. Push the one to the left of them with something that fits. That will reset the unit. If that doesnt do it. You probably just need an update

@@LucasUSN thats weird man. Mine worked no problems. Contact AUCar customer support. I had mine froze on me and they told me right away how to reset it. The might know whats wrong.

So far so good! It froze on me once. I had to reset it. Other than that its great.

The only real complaint i have is the apple car play disconnecting. It does it a lot. Other than that is great

Take the paint off and respray with interior paint. I happen to have bmw interior black. Matches great.

Oh that sucks man. Probably something got unplugged while installing it?
No. I checked everything. Some say it’s got to do with the factory Bose amplifier.
