By far the funniest scene to me was right off the bat in the beginning when weasel jumps out of the helicopter and then just straight up drowns. "Did anybody check to see if weasel can swim" had me fucking dying.

My favorite exchange from the movie. I get a chuckle out of it every single time.
mine was "unclutch your f**kin pearls Flagg" in that thick scot accent Peter has.

When they are strappin’ up for the big battle, and the Pixies’ “Hey” starts playing, god damn that hit so good.
Not to mention it was so beautiful.
I legit thought king shark was gonna eat rat catcher 2 when she was shaking his hand after he promise not to eat her lol
Was so excited when I recognized Taika! Felt really bad for Starro in the the end, should have just left the little guy alone to enjoy the stars. Sooo much better than the other Suicide Squad : )

I don't believe the Flag/Harley team were an intentional distraction, they just got made and as far as Waller was concerned, they were just a diversion at that point to Bloodsport's team since the whole army was on alert.
Dunno if this podcast gives a reason (just starting to listen) but i think Wallet would've intentionally sent Flag as part of the distraction cos i think she'd know Flag wouldn't go along with her actual plan.
Edit: rewatched the movie and Waller actually sent the team to rescue Flag. So what do i know 😀
That's why he wasn't briefed beyond just landing at the beach cos that's probably where his role was supposed to end.
I'm never really impressed with DC movies but I really loved this movie! Def in my top two with this first wonder woman.
Harley killing the president was absolute perfection and exactly how I would expect a character like her to show personal growth.
Snyder cut was better than both
Damn that still image is looking CRISP in 1080P 🤌👌
Only part which bugged me was how they made Harley Quinn go all John Wick on those guards.
To me she was more of a wild brawler girl instead of a master shooter who can do what she did in the movie.
This film works so well IMO because it's surprising heart warming underneath the comedy and the chaos.
The movie was everything we wanted the first one to be and more

It's weird because even though overall I like this one better, I NEVER bought this group as a team. Ratcatcher and Bloodsport yes, nobody else. No way I believed they went back for Harley, even at Flaggs insistence. But in the first they felt like a real cohesive team in a worse movie.
I kinda knew the first team would die, but I did thought Boomerang, Savant and maybe 1-2 others would die sometimes later in the movie.
Only watched it cause i wanted to be in on your review and was pleasantly surprised
The crypto currency bit at the end killed me lol
This movie is awesome. This movie made me want a sequel or a spin off show for most of these characters! Especially Rick Flagg or Bloodsport.

The acting between rat catcher and bloodsport in the bus was great… the script and dialogue was trash

I really loved the movie, but I feel like they killed off almost all the good characters though. Captain Boomerang went out way too quick for my liking because he was like the best part of the first movie, and Polka Dot Man's death just kinda felt tacked on and didn't do much for me especially when they reinvented his character so heavily into being actually good. I can see why they killed off Rick Flagg but damn it's gonna be so fucking weird not having him as the straight man not morally compromised good guy in the future movies.
The only people left in the end were Harley who of course we knew she would live, Bloodport who of course they weren't gonna kill because he's the new frontman, Ratcatcher 2 which was a pleasant surprise because I really liked her, and King Shark who was also a pleasant survival because I loved him but also he's like fucking invincible it wasn't really in my mind once he would die. I just wish some of the more gag type characters would've made it through instead of it being pretty much the expected survivors outside of Ratcatcher.

I loved it, but yeah I did feel them wanting to take down Starro was out of character. They had to make them into heroes. At least Bloodsport was killing the people possessed by Starro. The Justice League would've avoided harming those people.

DC finally made their Guardians movie I think it’s on the same level too cause a lot of the jokes of the Guardians are hit and miss as well but that’s comedy
Nah Guardians is far superior to this. Better pacing and focus, the group dynamics were better and groot > king shark. The comedy on average was better than this film too. Lines like ‘it’s cool to show off when it’s dope’ are being insanely overrated

The absolute BEST part of the movie was Pete Davidson getting decimated in the first few minutes. I have ZERO IDEA what his appeal in the industry, as he's PAINFULLY UNFUNNY.
The starfish third act took alot away from it but still, giggled my arse off..

Without Idris Elba holding the movie down it's a mediocre retread and Margot Robbie, even with her amazing soliloquy after shooting Presidente, without Elba she would be blamed..Again..for not being able to carry a movie. I enjoyed it but came away sad and a little furious how Elba in the last 30 years was not afforded the opportunity of dozens of roles to rightfully be thought of as among the greatest Action Heroes, ever.
I didn't like the starfish battle but rest of the movie was awesome.
After seeing this movie, I'm shocked at the positive reception.

I loved this movie, but I forgot that the dude who plays Flag(kinnaman) was even in it... and the moment he showed up on screen I went "yikes!" aaaand had a really hard time whenever he was on... there's some very much not pleasant allegations against that dude. But other than him, I loved the movie.
Guys is like 4 minutes in the video and nothing about the movie... what can i say nice intro

the film was paced and edited like different chapters of a comic book arc. i thought it worked out pretty well
@@Spoogebro haven’t read a comic in years so maybe that was my issue. I couldn’t take Staro seriously as a threat

@@mildlydazed9608 i agree, but i think for me it was more so the design being too cute for it to feel threatening. the cgi was also pretty cheap looking. had they made a better design and the studio gave the animators more time they could have some eldrich star fish.
This movie wasn't that good I've lost my faith in you
Film was alright. The gore was a bit tasteless to me but that’s what happens when you use it in every scene. The comedy was a bit flat and peacemaker’s betrayal was extremely ham fisted. Don’t want to bore people but I don’t think it is as strong as people are making out. Suppose it depends if you are onboard for a ridiculous film or not at the get go. Guess I wasn’t
