Casual reminder that in one of the actual episodes, Church tells Caboose that any shots Caboose fired would probably just bounce off a rock and hit him instead. And they actually did it.
Oh wow. I totally forgot about that.
I guess this episode wasn't as badly done as I thought it was.
Do you remember which episode this was?
Also, Curch said that Shela shooting a rocket would bounce off of Caboose and hit Church. But you were close though.
@@carrickinabnett4609 it's a little different, but it's where the joke came from.
wow so thats what they referenced
The most disappointing part of this battle is the fact that they didn't use the Red team's warthog theme music.
Thank you for saying that.
(Slams hands on table) THANK YOU!!
They disrespected red team in this
The most disappointing thing in this video is the voice acting, especially when you consider that not even half of them are the original.
@@patrickdostie28 you can definitely hear it with Tucker and Church.
This was honestly a pretty accurate portrayal, I think:
- Tucker's sick move against Lopez
- Grif blindly jumping in to save Sarge
- None of the Reds taking out any of the Blues
- Caboose getting a higher kill count than anyone else in the battle
I think this is pretty accurate.
And 75% was his own team
This was perfect.
Caboose surviving is kinda lame.Would have better if everybody died.
Donut took out Sheila tho
I want to know who Grif killed with the Grifshot though, it wasn’t Tex but they had black armor edit: just realized he hit Lopez
And can we acknowledge that Caboose just killed more people in one trigger pull then church did in over a decade.
*goes and checks the wiki* Holy crap...Church's only confirmed kill was Captain Butch Flowers and one time-looped version of Wyoming?
@@ChakatBlackstar On top of that he missed 12 bullets shot from a magnum at not even joking less than 2 feet but somehow shot off cabooses toe from like 20 feet idk what to think anymore.
@@ChakatBlackstarWhen Church goes back in time to try and stop the bomb though doesn’t one of the Church’s say that he got bored and decided to just kill everyone for the fun of it? I think besides Tex he might have killed some of the others.
Show of hands: who else went into this knowing that Caboose would be the only survivor?
I saw the team killing from Caboose coming, although I didn't expect him to be the *last* one alive.
100% thought it would just be a Caboose wins episode.
Is there anyone who didn't see it coming?
It's always been like this.

Then Doc showed up and revived Tucker, Donut, and Sarge by giving them CPR.
Simmons just needed to be rebooted (cause he's a cyborg).
Grif had some aloe vera rubbed on his neck and he was fine (much to Sarge's disappointment).
Sarge fixed up Lopez. Again. Then had him fix the warthog. Again.
Tucker and Caboose captured Lopez to make him fix Sheila. Didn't take much to convince him since they're in love.
Then the Blues once again convinced Sarge to build Tex and Church new bodies in exchange for Lopez.
Thus the never-ending stalemate at Blood Gulch continues.

Compared to everyone else, Grif’s death was shockingly brutal.
Tbh it’s kinda sad because you could actually hear his desperation
It actually felt a little out of character for Sarge to say “Huh. About time.” But it’s very easy to forget that he often shoots Grif point blank with his shotgun.
(Actually hang on, Grif has taken an absurd amount of fire, both friendly and enemy. He’s got to have the same durability at Agent Maine at this point.)
Genuinely made me very sad
@@k.w.pillsbury4070 Have you ever paid attention to Sarge throughout the ENTIRE SERIES?!?!?!
That "Huh. About time!" line said is actually in line with his entire personality and complete lackluster views on Grif. A sign that he thinks Grif is fat and worthless and is an entire disposable unit for if anything goes wrong. It's like the whole Zombie Plan thing, where the only thing constant about all 37 zombie plans end with Grif getting eaten and used as zombie bait.

Why did Grif trip him up?
@@exiegelastweekgamer1571 No, in the original series, Lopez had a bitter hatred of everyone around him, Sarge especially. He hates the fact that Sarge broke him so he speaks a language that only one of his team speaks, and even then not well. Between that and Simmons and Griff constantly breaking the Warthog. Later seasons soften him up, and his hatred becomes sarcasm and jokes, but he’s probably still waiting to recruit others to his robot army.

That suicide tackle from Grif was the most depressing thing I've seen in a while. You could hear the desperation coming from him as he tried to fight back the best he could. Then that last final grunt, man... :(

@@josefzalusky7307 Grif: Why are we here... just to suffer?
Tex: *_Yes._*
Everyone: Caboose already won after they got their hands on a rifle.
Me who has absolutely no idea about Red vs Blue: *confused screaming*
As according to 1 of the characters dr grey it was safer to give a killing machine control of a gun rather than caboose because according to them caboose with a rifle for 10 seconds was a busy day at the hospital
The rifle has the AI of a Mantis (UNSC vehicle) that makes the gun fire confetti when the trigger is pulled. this makes it imposable to team kill and makes the gun very accrete. It made for a very good gag at the end of the Choris(?) trilogy.
Ok so basically... caboose is better than goku
th-cam.com/video/mrDZWfuCRl0/w-d-xo.html
We need a caboose vs Goku video now 😂😂
All I gotta say is that Grif was probably the best of red team in terms of being a team player.
For starter's, he was the only one to call out sarge's bad plan (which ended up Simmons before he could really do anything)
He had one of the most effective weapons in the battle in the grif shot. Which saved sarge & helped him push the blues back for a time.
He was the main guy other then sarge to fight tex, not to mention even when he knew he stood no chance against her he still kept at it, even thou it ended with him basically dying for sarge.
So even though reds lost, grif was pretty much the MVP of the battle for the reds.
In order of usefulness/potential usefulness during the fight in my opinion.
Sarge: By virtue of keeping the most immediately threatening blue (tex) occupied almost the entire fight and holding his own in the process. He managed to give the rest of the team a chance to beat the less skilled blue members, and not to mention remained the last one standing to face caboose.
Grif: Kept the pressure on Tex by effectively swapping out with sarge when needed, and also foresaw Lopez's possible treachery, curbing it before he messed up their chances of beating the blues. Stepped in AGAIN to save sarge before tex killed him, and also managed to land the only solid hit on Tex during the entire fight.
Donut: Kept half the blue team occupied for most of the fight, basically allowing the 3 other reds to focus on the 2 remaining high skill blues. Destroyed the blue armored vehicle, crucially evening the odds before the final fight.
Lopez: Almost managed to put the blue team's 2nd best melee fighter out of action and displayed considerable combat ability, ultimately his actions amounted to no advantages or pushback for the reds though.
So, Killcounts:
Caboose: Tex, Donut, Tucker, Church
Sheila: Simmons, Chupathingy
Tucker: Lopez, Sarge
Donut: Sheila
Tex: Grif
Tucker was the mvp, he took out the red team's 2 best members
Technically Lopez isn’t dead
@@suarez9108 but he can't fight anymore so I guess that counts
Caboose having more Blue Kills than Red? Accurate! XD
Caboose gets booted for triple team kill.
There is something so traumatizing about seeing Tex break Grifs neck
Ya to me he was sort of being a badass for a while
But he hold out trying to protect Sarge but I feel like Sarge did not really care
It's like seeing Michaelangelo getting killed so quickly in the TMNT royale
Yeah that actually hurt me, I knew there would be death. I was not ready for Grif to get his neck snapped like that
And it's not even in line with canon. She should have drop kicked him into orbit by his nuts.
I watched this when it first premiered and I thought it was pretty funny. then I finally got around to watching the show and everything was 1000000% more hysterical
I love how griff wouldn't want to go into the caves. You know, because of the bats
I can't help but feel this would have been better as an April Fools episode.
filler episode
Considering how it all ended. Yeah, probably.
Possibly but here's the thing, Rooster Teeth doesn't do April Fool's Day as that is also the day that RT was founded.
@@Yoshirocks92 interesting
@@christianbarrett3040 So yeah, it is against company policy to pull pranks on the Rooster Teeth Community on April 1st, so what ever announcements they make on that day, it's 100% real.
i like how the only blue killed by a red was Donut killing the living battle tank.
It's kinda lazy they kill the rest of the blue from caboose sniper shot
@@hmm8445 actually in context, it makes more sense than you would think, caboose is more likely to accidentally kill everyone on both teams in a serious fight, its kind of why they dont generally let someone that mentally handicapped into the real army
@@TonySpike I think they were talking about all 3 dying in one shot
@@TonySpike to be fair, they let anyone into the army in project freelancer.
@@hmm8445 not really. Caboose is arguably more dangerous than Texas.
Sad the series is no longer on the youtube channel. RIP Red Vs Blue, you will be missed.
15:57 Just like old times!
The most heartbreaking for me is when griff tryed to fight Tex and I knew he’d lose
I think he knew that to cuz of last time or maybe he suppressed that due to the trauma of geting hit in the balls so many times in a row
That was a brutal way to die
That was a brutal way to die
@@john02222 during Revelations, I think it was capped at 9 nut shots
@@SuperSayianWarrior ya I'm gonna guess he suppressed that later cuz that sounds like hell
So in all Caboose won the whole thing and also killed his whole team.
so i guess he got the most kills
Technically Caboose killed all but Shiela for the blues. Donut's grenade took her out.
And this surprises you.....how????
Pretty much how the show goes
He's a team killing f***tard.
I was in love with this show growing up, would watch this with my brother and sometimes with friends.
My first episode was texas vs the reds and blues. I uad no idea what the series was but i searched around for it, i gotnconfused because my first episode was fully animated and did not understand the season 1 was not
Eventually a comment told me and i watcued it. Following season the finale of season 8 and then 9 and every other season after.
Sadly fell off after Church died... like his actual death where he stayed dead.
Great job on the writing of the death battle. Was hilarious for the research. Great animation as well.
Thank you this gave me vivid flashbacks of my childhood
"I won, I am the greatest, I beat everyone and now no one is left but me."
cue random wrecked ghost falling from the sky
I think Donut might be alive though. He only got shot through the visor. That’s nothing compared to being the crash sight for a ship, having a grenade stuck to your face, being light red and not pink, getting shot in the chest and having your armor lock for at least until midway of season 8, and being shot in the back of the head by locus.
This is the worse video ever 🏳️🌈🙏🏽 th-cam.com/video/I--rRfdoWEI/w-d-xo.html vgrwr

Rooster Teeth presents this Rooster Teeth vs Rooster Teeth Death Battle, now available on Rooster Teeth
You deserve an award for such poatry
I wonder if they'd have the balls to do Team RWBY Vs Team JNPR. Probably not. Dying once is enough, probably.
@@Daldi564 or team CEMN (Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, Neo) vs JNPR. That would be even more painful
Ok real talk....who else read CEMN as semen
@@Atom_dom_2004 oh god its only when you mentioned it did i see that🤦♂️
So while the outcome would still be the same, I think Griff should have been a bit more impactful and actually been able to take out someone, as he DID fight Meta and win on the ice cliffs after Tex failed.
This was so amazing.. just saying I'm blown away, such a big fan of RvB

"You should choose your words more carefully." -Thanos, Avengers: Infinity War
16:59 this definitely fits sarge
Loved this fight. Although I was Red team all the way. The fight scenes were just plain smooth and awesome. Good job Death Battle
Griff trying to save sarge with a struggle in his voice knowing he would die is the most heart broken thing
I know right. His death was the only out of place and well real death. The others could be fine, well maybe not church. He was shot though the head but still
@@superboyx2837 in my opinion, no one died except Sheila, and grif get really hurted (I don’t think that he would die like that)
@@superboyx2837 I mean, Church is probably fine, being an AI and all. They didn't let him use it to fight, but he'll still probably come back later. The same can probably be said of Tex, too.
The others, on the other hand...
@@Ghostguy693 I like to think everyone was faking their deaths, because this episode is supposed to be fun. But that's my interpretation
@@Ghostguy693 well, lopez can maybe be fixed
It felt like a RvB episode, but without the Project Freelancer shenanigans
They literally said in the intro this would be like if the went straight into trying to kill each other.
I feel like Freelancer was the best of the series but each to their own
So the first couple seasons?
@@theintelligenceagency3638 they never said they thought it was bad
@@theintelligenceagency3638 yes but EVERY DAMN SEASON is somehow revolving around the freelancers
1 minor mess up, in season 3 sarge states that church has a 50 megaton bomb in his chest. which Simmons then corrects stating that its only a 10 megaton bomb in church's chest. This is at 29 min into season 3
I like how Caboose helping caused everyone except for himself and stars to die. Because if they really allowed death in the show that is exactly what would probably happen in the show.
