Very cool how despite the fact that they knew that they were fighting to death, Yoda and Mickey Mouse were still very respectful to each other. Mickey is a true sweetheart deep inside. This battle is actually sort of wholesome. I can’t help but believe that some fans easily forget that Mickey Mouse was originally meant to be a classic sweet friendly character and an icon to young viewers. With some of the more recent things that Disney has done over the 2010s Mickey Mouse and Disney get more than a little rough attention these days a. However Death Battle seems to fully embrace the classic character of Mickey Mouse and portrays him as a wonderful friend even to his opponents! Truly one of my favorite episodes!
The fact that Mickey Mouse was smiling during the entire fight makes it scarier. It looked like he really wanted to kill Yoda to reign supreme over Lucasfilms.
No matter what the outcome of this battle was... I really respect how true-to-character both combatants were. I actually almost cried at them both staying so true to their beliefs and ideals, and for still respecting one another. This was a very good Death Battle. ♥
A truly heartfelt battle, no pun intended. The characters stand by their hope and virtues to the very end, down to that last look of peaceful acknowledgement from Yoda, or his cheerful final jab as a ghost.
The fact that the battle arena is Mickey’s Dive to Heart (or the inside of his heart/soul, basically) and Yoda just casually flies his god damn spaceship there is probably the best part of this episode LMFAOOOO
Actually could be like a Gumi Ship entering for another path like technically, if I'm correct (not sure, no one is sure) you could go inside using the door of light to enter the Kingdom Hearts so... Just technically talking it has total sense (and that's why Kingdom Heart's lore can be preeeeetyyyyyyyy weird!)
I'm not even mad with the outcome. They both fought well to the death and were honorable to each other. Well, the bonks to the face with the non-magical stick was comedic and trollish, it wasn't out of left field since he did enter with it. It was just left on the field.

"Why do peacekeepers need to be so specifically trained in murder?"
I'll answer that with a quote from Raiden in MGR. "A sword in the hand keeps another in its sheath"
"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" ~ Sun Tzu
I heard a quote that fits better
“You can’t truly call yourself “peaceful” unless you’re capable of great violence, if you’re not capable of violence you’re not peaceful, you’re harmless”
I prefer when my heroes don't cut people's heads off though
@@Akatsukileader9 Would you rather they stab them in the gut?
@@TheGuardDuck I rather they have a conversation or non-lethally take them down with force, which ironically would be pretty easy with the Force against non-Force users.
Not gonna lie, a nostalgic tear fell when they showed KH Mickey saying: "Now Sora, let's close this door for good". Such a badass moment.
Oh, well... I guess those were simpler times. ;')
That was a inspiring speech, not gonna lie

Can we just talk about how the music, the voice acting, and the animation was well done in this video?!
You mean point out what they've been doing for years?

You can talk about it, I don't think anyone would stop you.
The music felt like an epic final/secret boss fight in Kingdom Hearts. Very well done.
And they were bros to the end. I can't recall any other DB like that outside of the Might bros
The idea of Mickey Mouse being some kind of guardian against evil is hilarious, given that he's basically a mascot for corruption and greed.
Not as a character in KH come on
But Mickey is much of a slave like everyone else working there.

The fact that Mickey Mouse was smiling during the entire fight makes it scarier. It looked like he really wanted to kill Yoda to reign supreme over Lucasfilms.
lol
Some from Marvel would probably be a different story.
Mickey always smiles in fights...or does he?
A million times yes!! The quality on this one is amazing!
I'd love to see more kh or ff characters!?
Mickey: "lose this battle or the entire star wars franchise gets shut down."
Yoda: "huh, suddenly im feeling a bit weak..."
Lol
Wow.
King Mickey and Mickey are from 2 different, yet same universes
King Mickey doesn't have the power of Disney, but guess who does
More like "huh. Feeling a bit weak suddenly I am"
Honestly seeing how the franchise went so far downhill I'm sure Yoda would have gone all out and won it then.
I really wanted Mickey to say
“And to challenge me...you must be a goofy”

I couldn’t stay serious at mickeys voice because while accurate to his canonical voice, it’s hard to take seriously with how it sounds/high pitched.

I felt that when Yoda said
“Do or Do Not. There is no try.”
Mickey should of shouted:
“Wrong! IT’S ALL TRY!”
That does make a lot of sense
The “Do or do not. There is no try” line was more in response to Mickey saying “I can try”.
"They'll pay for this." -Mickey, moments after witnessing his friend's presumed death
That never gets old.
one of the rare times Mickey is vengeful/angry - it was awesome

I love that as yoda was been taken down, he realized he was gonna die, and just smiled. Badass.
The fact that the battle arena is Mickey’s Dive to Heart (or the inside of his heart/soul, basically) and Yoda just casually flies his god damn spaceship there is probably the best part of this episode LMFAOOOO
so... did yoda just fly into Mickey's heart or did he imagine the entire battle?
@@john-olivierlukama1548 Depends how much ketamine Yoda was on at the time
Actually could be like a Gumi Ship entering for another path like technically, if I'm correct (not sure, no one is sure) you could go inside using the door of light to enter the Kingdom Hearts so...
