It's not actually bad because I watched CL back during Summer at my Cousins but TTG is not bad, there's actually many episodes I enjoy from it and the fact I've never watched TT on cable and was very limited in what I could experience is why I resonate more with TTG, it isn't supposed to be story driven but it's not perfect so don't think I don't know that and while fans like you can be upset, TTG is the TT to the new generation and as much as we can hate and want it gone, we're literally just our parents and grandparents so those kids love this and is their favorite series, the only thing that matters is we can talk about shows like this and watch the shows, it's better than nothing.

I don't know how right I am with this, but my biggest hunch would be that XANA can only do things in the real world by activating a tower on the supercomputer in the area that it wants to access. So if XANA wants to attack the lyoko warriors directly, it has no choice but to activate a tower in the factory computer.
I think that indeed is the case. In the situations where he HAS activated a replika tower, it was to control things a little more freely in the region. The Amazon supercomputer for example.
The problem with this theory is that we know now that xana can concentrate energy from supercomputers from all over the world to one place so xana really doesn't have to activate a tower on that specific replika. It is more likely that xana has been organizing its files based on location. It's like when Jeremy works from the computer lab as opposed to his room. This way the data is already on that computer, it's isolated and can't be traced. This is likely also one of the first replikas because it's where William is being stored.
He actually activates replica towers all the time whenever he's working on his robot army. Like in episode lab rat the tower was already activated before they got there meaning he was using the spectres/possessed scientists there in his experiments and not to counter the lyoko warriors.
It definitely feels like the writers just didn't know what to do with Odd half the time when coming up with S4 and just defaulted to making him do something almost irreparable to his friends or himself. What's worse is that this only seems to happen in a select handful of the S4 episodes, so it really makes me wonder who exactly was in charge of the episodes that mischaracterized Odd and made him out to be a jerkish prankster with little to no consideration for anyone else.

Really goes to show how much he’s grown up since first discovering the supercomputer and meeting Aelita. I mean before he was really unsure of his abilities as leader of the Lyoko Warriors and in regards to his relationship with Aelita but in the end he’s gone from a naive young boy to a decently confident young man all in the span of almost 3 years

XANA isnt as smart as it thinks, If XANA wanted to activate a tower while these are busy, why not activate it in a replica they haven't found yet?!
I don't know how right I am with this, but my biggest hunch would be that XANA can only do things in the real world by activating a tower on the supercomputer in the area that it wants to access. So if XANA wants to attack the lyoko warriors directly, it has no choice but to activate a tower in the factory computer.

I think that indeed is the case. In the situations where he HAS activated a replika tower, it was to control things a little more freely in the region. The Amazon supercomputer for example.
The problem with this theory is that we know now that xana can concentrate energy from supercomputers from all over the world to one place so xana really doesn't have to activate a tower on that specific replika. It is more likely that xana has been organizing its files based on location. It's like when Jeremy works from the computer lab as opposed to his room. This way the data is already on that computer, it's isolated and can't be traced. This is likely also one of the first replikas because it's where William is being stored.
He actually activates replica towers all the time whenever he's working on his robot army. Like in episode lab rat the tower was already activated before they got there meaning he was using the spectres/possessed scientists there in his experiments and not to counter the lyoko warriors.

It definitely feels like the writers just didn't know what to do with Odd half the time when coming up with S4 and just defaulted to making him do something almost irreparable to his friends or himself.
What's worse is that this only seems to happen in a select handful of the S4 episodes, so it really makes me wonder who exactly was in charge of the episodes that mischaracterized Odd and made him out to be a jerkish prankster with little to no consideration for anyone else.
