The city started at downtown and expanded going west so everything east of 72nd and 10-15 miles north or south of dodge is the oldest parts of the city. 24th runs from the south side(mexican) to the north (blacks) but this is just a general rule as theres plenty of blacks on the south side and Hispanics and asians on the north. No one bangs off colors or race in the city so you can go anywhere, violence is opportunistic or personal but mostly personal.

Good video. You missed some good areas though. When you turned onto Anes you should have headed West, it gets pretty sketchy that way. I drive a truck delivering overnight every night in that area and it gets interesting.

Everytime I've been to Omaha the neighborhoods are just empty but they're nice and I've never seen a basketball court in Omaha. Which part did you go to?

I lived in north Omaha growing up moved out when I was about 18 years old I always wondered if it was getting worse each and every year. I lived off of 69th street it's all changed now there were the projects but I heard they tore them down?
A lot of the projects are gone. No more Little Vietnam. Which is a good thing, IMO.
lived on Seward street too, I could walk anywhere back then I use to catch the bus to go to central High school. Had allot good friends there as well
