    Most people have no clue how beautiful Western and Northwestern Nebraska is! I travel the country on my motorcycle and I am not from Nebraska, but it's one of the most beautiful states that I've ever ridden through! Highway 2 up through the Sandhills was absolutely mind-blowing!! We would go several miles without seeing another human. One of my all-time favorite places that I've ever ridden through

    We are windy, but we are also in the central fly way for many migratory birds. Additionally, wind farms require considerable amounts of land and the construction of transmission lines. Some people in the Sandhills region are concerned about the construction of numerous wind farms. They kind of get mad when the urbanites in Lincoln and Omaha want to build nuclear waste dumps, crude oil pipelines, wind farms, EHV transmission lines, and other city supporting infrastructure up there.

    • @Electrodexify
      @Electrodexify ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm from Omaha and I still think this is unfair to the west of Nevada. Wind energy is a con, fiberglass blades that break and cannot be recycled. Plenty of pollution is created when making these wind turbines. The surrounding area to a wind turbine is a graveyard of birds. Plus the power is inconsistent, no thanks!

    • @black_hand78
      @black_hand78 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The wind turbines already kill millions of birds a year, adding them to Nebraska would easily double or triple that number. Wind turbines also aren’t clean at all, they require oil and plastics as well as metal that has to be mined. The other things you mentioned aren’t clean either for many reasons. It’s not that we’re backwards and don’t want better infrastructure, we just aren’t going to buy into the propaganda. We know gas vehicles aren’t clean, but neither is having child and slave labor to mine the cobalt to make the batteries for EVs.

    Interesting segment. 2 reasons people look up aka Google a restaurant are: Reason 1. To view the menu or look up the phone # or place an online order. Reason 2. To call and complain about missing food or a bad customer experience. That is the reason for calls to Mcdonald's and Domino's. I would not assume this to be a favorite brand for any state.

      @@major3041public transport is indeed kind of bad. You’ll definitely want some type of 4WD vehicle for the winter, although sadly winters haven’t really been feeling like winter lately there’s just no snow 😢. Make sure you have emergency supplies in your vehicle at all times because towns are usually 30+ mins between each other and make sure you know how to change a tire lol. Learn some survival skills too because it’s a very open state and you might not always have cell service or even find another human for hours. Always keep winter gear in the car, occasionally people freeze to death just feet in front of their house during winter because they get blinded during blizzards so never leave the car if you get stuck except to clear snow from the tail pipe.

    The weather here is terrible, cold and windy or hot and humid, there's like two enjoyable weeks. Not worth the reduced cost of living when most of the year it's hard to enjoy anything outdoors because the dew point is 95 or there's 50 mph winds in spring and fall.

    • @PsychopathicV2
      @PsychopathicV2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To each be their own on that one buddy. Personally hate the humidity but love the wind in the spring-autumn. Winter yeah it can be bitterly cold. Hell last winter I remember work closed up early because all the construction sites we deliver to shut down. Wind chill was -30.

    • @black_hand78

      That’s because crime rates go off of the cities. Little known fact but Omaha was actually built by the mafia just like Vegas was. Omaha and Lincoln still have a very small mafia presence but it’s more of thugs running around now robbing people. Another little known fact but Nebraska sadly has cartel activity and even some of the court judges, lawyers, and police departments are drug dealers but most people are ignorant of that fact because they aren’t involved in that lifestyle or simply choose to be naive.

      Don’t live anywhere outside of Omaha, Lincoln, or grand island. Especially don’t live in North Platte. If you’re worried about prejudice small towns are the worst cause they may not be directly racist but they are definitely subtly racist. North Platte is actually the human trafficking capital of the country because it’s directly in the middle of the country going all directions.

    What would happen if Nebraska became a country for 3 years would it boom or would it fall

    • @black_hand78
      @black_hand78 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely boom. Nebraska produces a major portion of the countries/worlds corn and beef supply. In 2021 Nebraska produced the most beef. Nebraska also has lots of small and medium rivers that connect to the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. All Nebraska would need to be its own country would be to build more factories. However if Nebraska seceded, the other states within the Louisiana purchase, texas as well, would most likely follow behind them because although some states like Colorado are more liberal, they all still share similar lifestyles and livelihoods. If the states within the Louisiana purchase secede that would split the country in half, which would cause food problems for the west and east coasts. The coasts would try to revolt, which they have the numbers, but most city folk don’t know how to properly use a weapon and don’t know proper military tactics for engagement let alone even own any real weapons or equipment lol. Most of the coal mines for electricity are also within the Louisiana purchase so the states could cut off everyone else’s electricity very easily. Warren Buffet controls the railroad and will forever call Omaha NE his home and I can guarantee he would allow the citizens to use his RR to mobilize forces. There’s also lots of natural resources in the Louisiana purchase and in Nebraska itself.
