    Great video! The gearbox in race mode needs 150ms for a gear change. What about the torque vectoring, the special modes of the torque vectoring, valves filled with nitrogen, continuous variable valve timing on both sides, the special ignition order for a unique exhaust note, 3 cylinder mode, aluminium & carbon body panels, Ferrari rated CC brakes, IBS, proper aero with active splitter, the amazing PZCorsa AR tyres and the rest that I don't know :)

      Lol, I should have reached out to you first! I did come across a few of those details during research, although I wanted to focus on a few key things to keep the video semi short and sweet. This was more of a passion project, tbh. Somewhat of an intrigue video for those less familiar. You, sir, know your stuff! 😁

    Hey mate.
    You nailed this review. I have watched a lot of Guilia QF reviews as I own one. Your commentary was a beautiful
    Mix of engineering, passion, history and art. Breathtaking the depth you went to.
    I don’t think the world has woken up to just how good these cars are.

    I have a '21 Stelvio Q4 Sport TI, white over black, red interior, from new, April '21. It's a stunning machine, gets looks from everyone young old male female. Handling is second to none. I've never driven a machine that goes exactly where you point it. I'm coming from 30+ years of some fast Audis. This Stelvio is SPOT ON, far exceeds my expectation everyday I get it in and push the ignition button.

      I have a Giulia myself but I've been trying to convince the wife to get a Stelvio 😂. I would love to have one of those too! The feeling is second to none, and I look for every excuse I can to go for a drive.

  • @apostolostvable

    Giulia/Stelvio owners rejoice and keep this beauty forever, it looks like this will go down as a once-in-a-lifetime platform/chassis and design. Ive had my 2018 Giulia Veloce approaching 5 years and it's been nothing but pure bliss. And reliable too.
    Now that they're turning toward hybrid power and soon electric, this may just be Alfa's swansong for pure driving dynamics.

    • @Club952
      @Club952  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree these cars may become "collectible" in a sense, especially the Quadrifoglios, and may even see their values go up in the future; the design is timeless! As far as their move towards electric and hybrid vehicles, I'm hoping that the next performance oriented vehicle they produce will have the same soul and passion behind it; even if it's electric. The potential is there! Let's just pray they can follow through on newer generations.

    I was immediately taken by the Giulia when it made its debut. They were priced far beyond what I’d be willing to spend on a car but now I’m seriously considering an awd version on the used market. Thanks for the great video review.

    • @Club952
      @Club952  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Unfortunately, they don't hold resell value well at all, and I believe it's primarily due to the dwindling dealer support here in the states, but the best thing about that is it makes it easier to get into a used, low mile Alfa. If its reasonable, I say go for it! Just make sure you have a shop nearby that can perform work on the vehicle if needed, and do your research of course.

      I kinda feel the same way. It's sad that Alfa announced their move to full electric by 2025; although, there is still the possibility of an amazing, sport-oriented electric vehicle from them. As advanced as the new generation of vehicles may be, I don't think anything will ever top the raw sound internal combustion engines have to offer.

    • @vlajster
      @vlajster ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Club952 I think this is just peak Alfa Romeo now,even with just 2 models (Tonale is a Jeep). It could get even better but they won't let it happen. BMW and Merc aren't doing anything better either, downsizing and basically pussyfying their top models. Let's just enjoy them while we can

    • @Club952
      @Club952  ปีที่แล้ว

      @vlajster yeah it's tough to argue otherwise. It's what seems to be the end to a Golden Era for Alfa Romeo, although I want to remain optimistic for their future. The Stelvio was kind of a first toe in the water in terms of changing the script; but even then, the Stelvio by all accounts was executed great. The Tonale, however, really strays away from tradition.

    • @vlajster
      @vlajster ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Club952 the Giulia and Stelvio share a good platform,the difference is bodywork mostly. Tonale is a rebadged Jeep,have no idea why have we waited so long for it to come out since it's just a rebadged car,it's not a lie. Now they're even selling it as a Dodge something in the states. The Giorgio platform is so good it's a shame not to use it for a new coupe or a shooting break/station wagon etc.
