I genuinely think misty should only be allowed to target psyduck, or staryu and it’s line considering they were very integral to her in the anime. I find it so strange that the other energy manipulating cards have such heavy restrictions, but it doesn’t. Great deck anyway! Needed to rant after 7 loses in a row to the blue menace
@@dittmar104 Brock is an okay card for Fighting's design, it's just that its targets are some of the worst cards in the game. Misty is a necessary evil because Water was designed with it in mind, that's why so many Waters are overpriced or have high costs.
Misty is the opp of pokemon lol all she know is tails 😂🤣😂 ever played against a water deck and your using one too and yah both pop tails on both yah misty cards it gets very depressing
@ Misty is not a necessary evil, it was a mistake in a vane attempt to avoid reworking the whole water type after they nerfed blastoids/ex by removing rain dance. Most of the cards in the game are just reworks of cards from base set, jungle and fossil, with a few cards taken from the GB version like moltres ex being a rework of the legendary moltres. This had unintended consequences like stamie ex being broken by being designed without rain dance in mind
Having a blast playing a Bisharp + Normal beatstick aggro deck. Bisharp is all-around average, but he comes out pretty fast and hits just hard enough to 2-shot most threats. No Pokemon in the deck use too much energy and you're able to quickly break any setup your opponent does by threatening to 1-2 shot their starters and forcing them to switch into their setups too early, taking massive early game damage. It also doesn't rely on coin flips and is relatively consistent (unless you use Kangaskhan). It's way more fun building a deck around pack filler than playing the same 3 decks the rest of the event ladder uses
My only issue is that you can replace "Bisharp" in that comment with "Golduck" or "Sandslash" or probably something else that I'm not remembering right now (or starmie ex but that's not a pack filler). In other words, the deck has no identity... I use Bisharp in a Melmetal deck too though. I just wish it were a little better
@Vic_Chaos_ Bisharp's identity iš that it evolves from a one energy 30 damage beatstick as opposed to the Pokemon you listed. It works better for a fast aggro strategy. It's also not weak to electricity
@@ekul2k3 I've tried several variants: Greninja + Bisharp variant with the Water Energy removed, featuring the Greninja and Bisharp lines + standard Trainer/Item set, but the problem with that deck is that, for an aggro deck, it's awfully slow and only starts putting the squeeze on when your opponent's fully set-up, which is unacceptable. I only play this one for the theme of ninja+samurai going brrr. I haven't optimized my Normal/Bisharp aggro deck yet, but what works for me is: 2x Pawnyard 2x Bisharp 2x Farfetch'd 2x Tauros 2x Kangaskhan 2x Giovanni 2x Professor Research 2x Sabrina 2x Pokeball 2x X-Speed It's basically my Cincinno deck with the Cincinno replaced with Bisharp, I'll admit, but Bisharp packs barely less damage than Cincinno but a bit quicker. In terms of quick killer aggro decks that disrupt setups, it might even be more efficient even if I have a better win percentage with Cincinno so far.
I just made this deck and its been going pretty solid. Its arbok and pidgeotto deck. The idea is kind of based off the normal pokemon stall deck. Except you're not trying to stall. You basically use pidgeotto and sabrina to force your opponent to putting out zero energy pokemon. Then arbok either one shots them because their basic pokemon with 60 or less hp. Or sets up a free kill because arbok locks them in place. If ever the match up gets scay you just use pidgeotto or sabrina again to force something else forward. Deck is actually super solid.
It's the deck I made ( with except aerodactyl) while I got Charizard. But yeah, this deck has the same problem just that it can be set up faster trading the guaranteed Nuke. But Moltres being destroyed by pikachu is so bad that even if you retreat you can get sniped by zebstrika. That said Charizard is more tanky, which is why I like it more. And it comes in handy vs mewtwo since it can avoid the one shot.
Lost sight of your channel since you dropped LoR - and now I found out you're back with Pokemon Pocket! It's amazing, glad to be able to inhale your videos again 😄
Best part about these videos is they’re always about pokemon I wanted to make decks around because I don’t have the meta deck cards and this is absolutely one of them but since I’m too lazy and too trash at making decks myself, I just wait for Mog to do it for me 😂
Could you replace the Centiscorch line with Flareon and a potion or something with a Giovanni? Flareon + Giovanni still one-shots Pikachu EX, survives a hit from it and needs 1 less energy for it, so Moltres can have more value. A downside though is that Moltres can't charge up Eevee before it evolves.
I think that configuration of the deck requires too many things to go right. Need to have the evo piece and the base asap to ramp at all, can't ramp turn 1, need a combo piece to one-shot the common meta deck that this is trying to combat. I like the idea in theory, just needs to many things to align.
Thank you for making this video. Just battled a dude who ran this deck and I rolled him with a Butter-egg deck of all things XD Very helpful video...for me, not the other dude I mean.
I've been a fan of the channel since forever and since you have already given into the darkside (aka misty), I really wanted to see what would be your take on a greninja deck, love your content man ^^
People are drunk and or blind. Moltres is far better value than Misty. It may be a body you have to put in the active spot, but at 140 health with potions, you will have danced multiple times with 3 chances at free energy every dance. You hit tails once with Misty, not to mention on the first coin, and you just wasted your time. Misty is more lucked based, but Moltres gives you better odds at the same luck based game.
nah misty is live turn 0 allowing you to be able to attack immediately regardless of if going first or second, which is especially strong for mons like starmie and articuno
@@johnblunt6693 Agreed its strong with them except for when when it doesn't hit for anything, which is half the time. Moltres is strong everytime it hits the field. You end up begging for value Moltres, Lilligant and or Gardevoir will give you for turns.

i didnt understand why did you hesitate with the first battle when you had 3 energy on centi and 2 energy on moltres which was enough to retreat him while having one more energy left to use for centi and just kill the arbok and get final point?🤔🤔
Edit: update i forgot about arbok ability not able to retreat next round sorry ✌🏻
I always met oppenents had no more limit time, but the game was buggy. I'm not win till 20minutes time end. May they run but not conceded
