I know this is a bit off topic, but when I was very young, I wanted to play the game. Unfortunately, all the cards required star energy, and I had none of those. So I never played pokemon. I was too young to realize it meant "any energy". Didn't help that an energy with the star symbol actually existed, or maybe it was an item that I just thought was an energy.
It was a Double Colorless Energy card, which is a "special energy" card, functionally the same as an item. You can only have 4 duplicates in your deck, unlike regular energy.
Its funny, as Mogwai was talking about the Gardevoir Mewtwo nuts line, I queued up against exactly that with this deck and crushed it. Energy cheat is good but sometimes ungabunga is better.
I really liked this version of the Machamp EX deck. My version uses Kabutops instead of Marowak. Although it is expensive because it is a stage 2 Pokémon, unlike Marowak which is much cheaper and easier to evolve, it is still a good option to withstand damage and hit hard. Since I already had a Marowak EX deck, I thought about not using it or the normal version in the same deck as Machamp to let each one be the star of their deck. Still, as I said before, this version with normal Marowak and Hitmonlee is very interesting and seems to be very consistent because it gives even more focus to Machamp

It's funny to see the Machamps working and constantly saying "Maconha!"

i run a variation of that deck using event mankey and primeape, primeape just completely sweeps any basic pokemon for 100 damage if you can keep his uptime, allowing you to set up machamp for more revenge kills for those harder to kill EX's
I think people are playing Mewtwo wrong tbh. Playing only 4 basics when all 4 of them are Setup pokemon is trolling. Playing good early game stuff like Kangaskhan or Fearow with it to slow the opponent's tempo while you build a Mewtwo/Gardevoir in the back is probably way better. Or even just play Weezing Koga with it

Arbok is mewtwos worst nightmare making mewtwo look like a pushover. Highly suggest it since it shuts down the best deck in the game and even does well against pikachu ex decks
I feel like there should be a solid Kingler deck or Tentacruel deck. I did have a match up of Dragonite-Zebstrika-Tentacruel vs your Drop a Draco deck that went absolutely to the wire. It felt maybe a bit more consistent and plenty resilient. Hard to pass up on the Koga combo, though. Cycling Weezing around definitely saved my game.
I’m hoping somewhere we get a beedrill deck. 70 damage for 1 Leaf energy is really nice. Just unfortunate we don’t really have the cards and stuff to support all the decks I’d like to make as the game is now

I actually like primeape with machamp, punishing quicker strategies with big damage if they can’t take out primeape/mankey in 1 hit. Only a 1 of though
I would love to see you make Nidoqueen work. I mean, I know how you feel about playing 2 3 stage pokemon, but still, the game keeps giving me Nidoqueen's full art.
I can't recommend enough to substitute Cubone and Marrowak with diglet and Dugtrio. Incredible cheese and low energy cost + not being defenseless with cubone

Is Marowak better than Marowak EX in this deck? I have 2 copies of Marowak EX but no regular Marowaks. 1 energy attack is nice, but the EX version can oneshot many creatures if you don't get too unlucky, which arguably makes up for the higher energy cost.
I would like to see your intake with Venasaur EX. That, and perhaps a Blastoise EX. Just because they were the first gen starters. P.S.: Can anyone tell me if Lugia is in the game? Started just two days ago and trying to brew some Normal Colorless deck to pay attention to the Legendaries
I think you are really underestimating red cards, single copy is very useful, and it's actually great turn 1 vs 4 card hand, as it basically discards 1 card at random worst case scenario.
Kabutops instead of machamp ex with 1 Marowak ex as a highroll Mewtu/venusaur Killer and 2 regular ones has been really fun for me. You always get cubone to start cause fossil doesn't count. One Kicklee might be really good too.

most aggro decks like bisharp/blaine/marowak(non ex)+sandslash etc can easily sweep mewtwo since they need time to setup

Bse Marowak is situationally better. Very high health and more reliable damage
